  • Tinted windows can be found on most cars. Some come tinted from the manufacturer, while others have aftermarket tint. The process is simple, but it can't be rushed and requires attention to detail. Elliot Baker, the founder of Tint School Online, demonstrates his process for perfectly installing window tint.

    • @punktalley
      @punktalley Před 10 měsíci

      The electronics are on the inside door frame away from the glass. All windows in a vehicle are designed to allow moisture to drain out the bottom of the door. Having said that along with being a tint shop it's best to use some type of absorption system.....I use FOSHIO SOAK ROPE 2 IN 1 with a crash wrap on door panels....not so much for electrical damage protection but to minimize customer complaints. They see the extra care of using the rope they tend to have questions about the care of their vehicle. Plus the streaks from the dash and door panel conditioner being removed with tint slip solution ( water and baby shampoo). Which does it hurt door panel and dash conditioner it just has to be reapplied.

    I'm a student with the school but still after months I am having issues. I will Not give up but have run out of friends any family cars to do. I'm an honest guy and when I tell people I have been training they don't want more to install film. Guess I need to keep my mouth shut and prove myself before I tell them I've been training but doing this professionally now.
    Just need to get business.

    Rushing through this can cause so many problems. We've all seen bad tint jobs going down the road. I see why it pays to go to a professional.

    I never seen the tint done like this. All that stuff on the glass is normally done on the front of the window. I have never seen it only done on the back of the window

    If you use a razor on the interior of your rear window, wont that damage your rear windshield defroster?

    • @willh9850
      @willh9850 Před 3 lety +9

      You would use a white cleaning pad for the rear window, so you don't damage the defrost lines.
