Have just started out doing other people's vehicles. Would just like to say a massive thanks for sharing your tutorial vids. While I am still no professional, your vids are extremely helpful
I’ve been installing it by setting the top in first. Going to practice with your method tomorrow. Great tutorial!
This is a great tutorial. I really like the simulated errors
Appreciate the comment and noticing that haha they take a lot of film and time to do but it is the best way to learn for all of you guys :)
Good luck
I'm impressed. Have never done tinting, but definitely want to learn. Taking notes and everything. Easy to follow and doesn't leave out the small details that matter. Nice job!!
I'm learning web development but this seems more rewarding and fun than sitting infront of a computer 8hrs a day.
Hey man I was in the same boat. Learned web development and figured out that I didn't want to be in front of a laptop 10hrs a day. Good luck to you!
@@JoseLopez-mr8ry thanks man. All the best to you as well!
Till you actually try to tint. Takes at least 5 years to be able to tint any vehicle
I sit in front of one for ten hours! It's sooooo boring!
@@nichmon3221 are you a web developer?

By far the most easily explained way to tint a window especially the backing to face you which can first confuse, thanks for the refresh course as Ive been meaning to do mine since last year 🤣
Thank you! And good luck
Thanks so much sir
Thanks for the tutorials. Which is easier to install, the new ceramic film or carbon?
Hey guys thanks for your tutorials. They really do come in handy. I've bought and installed pre-cut tint a few but this time most recently I added a visor strip for my 2015 Nissan Sentra. The problem I'm dealing with is that there's a large dotmatrix area right behind the rear view mirror. I would drop you a pic but I may have to do that in the Vault.
But since I'm here, I'll go on and ask, do I need to simply apply over top of the matrix normally if I didn't order precut tint?
You asked for subscribing in such a nice and polite manner that I literally stopped the video , subscribed then start video again 😁
🙏 thank you very much!
Hey guys, loving these videos, thanks for the time you put in. I’m about to tint my Jag xj6, question is, she is a 2006 so obviously some wear and tear. How will this affect the tint if at all? Thanks again.
This is an amazing channel had to subscribe💯 Imma about to tint my 93 Honda Civic 20% all around if you guys wanna catch it I’ll be uploading soon again
great video, actually learned alot from this and taking notes.. compared to other videos ive watched.,
Thanks for the comment! Appreciate it!
@@TintSchoolOnline Would it be the same concept for a back window of a car? Thanks for quick reply !! :)
Unfortunately back windows are completely different due to the shrink and the nature of it being fixed
Great videos so far! New subscriber. Where do you get your stainless steel blades? And do the super sharp rap blades work as well?
Great demonstration and knowledge! Thank you! I have a question. What setting should the heat gun be set at? I'm afraid of having it set too hot or not hot enough? Is there a special heat setting to use? I would imagine heat gun settings vary. Is there a rule of thumb on setting the heat gun by feel?
10/10💯
I want to add window tenting to our services. what is a good tint to use. Your channel is full of great material, I've learned a lot thank you. lol i just saw link below. thank you for all the great beta.
you will make a video on the dotmatrix??
I will do this business ❤️❤️
Nice video, what to do with babyshampoo stains on plastic doorpanels? Any recommendation?
Really great service f a n t a s t i c👍👍
Where can I buy film? Good quality
I’m trying to do this on a budget but I also don’t want it to be done poorly, do I need a heat gun? I have a 07’ Toyota Camry so the bend on the windows isn’t crazy but if it’s not needed to use a heat gun that would be great! Tysm! Also these videos are fantastic and I really appreciate it!
What kind of tint would you recommend on plastic windows like the windows on the soft top of a jeep? Any particular brand or type?
do you always shrink? like, is it a must to always shrink? like i understand the backwindow is a must because of the curve, but is it an must for side windows as shown in the video?
thanks! very educational video :)
What do you have the door panel siting on and where do you get it from?
any tips on shrinking back glass tint on gen1 new beetle?
what's better, installing like this or doing the half peel method? or is it preference?
The windows on my car have about a half inch on both sides that are covered by the rubber seal. It's very difficult to get the tint laid in without bunching. I've removed the door panels and trim around the windows, so hopefully it's easier this time. But I still see problems in my future
Heres a question I have as someone who wants to get into tinting windows, do the films come precut for specific cars or do you have to do the measuring and trimming? I feel like they'd come pre cut, and if so, my assumption would be that you really can't do walk ins just starting up, idk if tint shops do "walk ins" at all, or if it's all ordered on an as needed basis. Any info would be nice, I'm trying to get this bread up
I really appreciate you, you’re amazing but I would like to know what type of card you was using? Is it plastic same as credit card or had to be rubber?
Thank you Minas. Be sure to download our free tint guide
The card... look for a 3m hard card
Just tried Walmarts tinting by myself. Did alright but got a 1/4” gap at bottom lol. Stupididly both back sedan windows.
What type of spray bottle & other tools you use?
I do have a question. I see a lot of tinters cut the front, slide forward 1/4 inch. Tack it down then cut the back edge. Then leave it shifted forward to cut the top. Won’t that throw off the top edge once installed and centered?
How would I shrink the film to size after cutting? Or do I shrink before I cut.
Just a quick question, in the previous video I watched the fella said that the tint only goes one way (as in the way you push the water out) up and down but on this he also went left and right. So is it fine to not just go up and down?
where can i buy the tools you use?
How long should I apply heat for if I'm using a hair drier?
I just finished mine, bloody never doing it again, I take my hat off to the people who do it for a living! Stuff that
How hot should your heat gun get? Mine seems to melt tint super fast. Is there a entry level heat gun you or anyone on here could recommend? Thanks!!!
Really helpful channel, top work!
Would you always apply tints with door card removed so you can heat seal? Or would having a decent film overhang below the door card rubber be okay obviously pushing the air and liquid out as far as you can reach with a contour?
-Cheers!
Hello Ryan, I actually never remove the door panel myself when tinting. But when I train new students, I always teach it to BEGIN! Their is so many hurdles when you first start tinting and having the door panel removed will eliminate half of them! We split tested training multiple students both ways(panel removal vs non panel removal). Panel removal ALWAYS made our students progress faster.
So if you are seriously considering starting tinting or even just trying to tint your own car, I promise your chances for success are dramatically increased with the panel removed!
(if you choose not to remove the door panel you WILL need to remove the weather strip in order to slide the film behind the rubber with the method from inside this video)
GOOD LUCK :)
TintSchoolOnline thank you for your reply, thats really helpful thank you! It is my own car I’m attempting so I’m gonna take my time. I will most likely remove the panels to help! Thanks again.
Is it a bad idea to get a window tint tools kit from amzon for car windows?
so im a subsrciber and have watched multiple vids however i cant access or download the free manual what gives??? google drive says the file does not exist?! is this no longer available because that would suck
on a scale 1-10 how hot do you usually run your heat gun? - amazing videos btw all of them have helped miles!
Hello,
Always on the hottest unless I'm going to a corner and I can visually see it is close to burning.
Will the soapy water damage any electronics in the door?
Does all tint come with a back sheet on it?
1:1 1 pm Dec 18. A day after tinting front drivers side window , the top of tint is peeling off. Is there any way to fix? & also what temp should glass be when tinting? And temp of heat gun? Thank you so much
More content!!!! please lol
We are working on it! We are just very busy building the course even bigger. Thanks for the vote of confidence
EXELLENT ¡¡
I don't see a "descriptions" for list of tools.
How did you cut the perfect piece?
How is reverse roll method?
Great video man. What do you do when it comes to cleanliness. Do you tell clients to wash their car before they bring it or do you wash the car for them?
- Tai
What is a good tint film?
How did you get the shape of the tint? Was kind of skipped over.
Where thé warranty card? I can't find on website
im learning how to tint i have been trying to make my windows look perfect but i keep on getting white little bubbles from inside and really tinny white points can you help me to find out why
So is it special card for tinting? Is called 3M tint card?
Omg I didn't really realize how sticky the film is, dude I messed up my film having it cling together" for my rear window. Going to give it a try once more...
I have a question sir,what if i don’t remove the door seal??it doesn’t work out..
No issues paying for knowledge or signing up for a course you do explain well but from were I am in ireland is 700 euro for full course should have individual course I would imagine everyone struggle at different parts of install 😁
Surly theres a way to tell good from bad quality tint but how and can it be done before purchasing
I got pre cut window tint and I cannot get rid of the fingers. What am I doing wrong? Thank you. ❤️
