    Hey guys thanks for your tutorials. They really do come in handy. I've bought and installed pre-cut tint a few but this time most recently I added a visor strip for my 2015 Nissan Sentra. The problem I'm dealing with is that there's a large dotmatrix area right behind the rear view mirror. I would drop you a pic but I may have to do that in the Vault.
    But since I'm here, I'll go on and ask, do I need to simply apply over top of the matrix normally if I didn't order precut tint?

    Heres a question I have as someone who wants to get into tinting windows, do the films come precut for specific cars or do you have to do the measuring and trimming? I feel like they'd come pre cut, and if so, my assumption would be that you really can't do walk ins just starting up, idk if tint shops do "walk ins" at all, or if it's all ordered on an as needed basis. Any info would be nice, I'm trying to get this bread up

    Would you always apply tints with door card removed so you can heat seal? Or would having a decent film overhang below the door card rubber be okay obviously pushing the air and liquid out as far as you can reach with a contour?
    -Cheers!

    • @TintSchoolOnline
      @TintSchoolOnline  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello Ryan, I actually never remove the door panel myself when tinting. But when I train new students, I always teach it to BEGIN! Their is so many hurdles when you first start tinting and having the door panel removed will eliminate half of them! We split tested training multiple students both ways(panel removal vs non panel removal). Panel removal ALWAYS made our students progress faster.
      So if you are seriously considering starting tinting or even just trying to tint your own car, I promise your chances for success are dramatically increased with the panel removed!
      (if you choose not to remove the door panel you WILL need to remove the weather strip in order to slide the film behind the rubber with the method from inside this video)
      GOOD LUCK :)
