Good review info, i was undecided because when you use the SW Motech you have to delete the handles, but it looks great and is strong. Checking out part 2!

Hahaha I just received my shipment from China with similar mount. I'm going to see how long my piece lasts anyway, the only plus is that it cost me $46 with coupons. It is also strange that my mount has minimal other holes and an extra plate
Your rack brackets are made of aluminum or steel?
@@twofeetonthepegs there are four parts. The main plate is aluminium, the additional smaller plate and both mountings are steel.
@@twofeetonthepegs ok, I've finished the assembly. I didn't get any instructions from the seller there were no silver spacers, and there was this extra smaller plate which isn't on the SRC channel which is why I came across your video, looking for instructions.
You mentioned SRC channel...At this link ( drive.google.com/file/d/15bOn6k515iNRCbBSva9i9aoDyxCdVwDv/view?usp=share_link ) you can find the mounting instructions of the SRC tail rack (that was also fully made of aluminum, but they no more sell it, was removed from their website)
If your rack brackets are made of steel, it's gonna be more durable no doubt...I am curious how will perform on the long run

If you are on a budget and you are happy with a maximum 8kg capacity (inculding your top box), get the chinese rack, the one made of STEEL . If you are not on budget/need bigger capacity go with the SW-Motech. The SW-Motech is my preferred rack , you will see soon in a new video why 😉

Could you provide the name of the seller so I can request the steel brackets you mention in Part 2
You can see it in part one, at 06:21, the name of the shop XRacingMoto. But if I were in your shoes, I would not rush with that purchase. I asked them what is the capacity of the steel bracket and they answered me "16 kg". No way. For the aluminum one they rated 8 kg, and already know from experience that is not true...so I have good reasons to doubt that 16 kg....The steel one will be definetly more durable compared to the aluminum one, but what can it withstand, still is a big question to me...

Szervusz András! Igen, érdekes darab az a kanadai, elég masszívnak tűnik és nem kell levenni a kapaszkodót. Ugyanakkor eléggé fura ahogy kinéz (számomra), olyan mintha egy kályharács vagy lábtörlő lenne :-))). Ja, és nem látom hogy milyen rögzítési pontok vannnak egy doboz részére....Ami az "ali-s" rack-et illeti, igen megvan, ha érdekel 25e-ért a tied lehet ha már feketepéntek van/volt :-)

:-) ...The aluminum racks I got in the video are bad, not tested products ...and yes, unfortunatelly there are a lot of rubbish Chinese products....but let's admit not all products made in China are bad ;-)
