    I have a gt500 CFTP and gt350R Love them both.

    I totally see this car doubling in the medium to short term for sure. It was a bargain in comparison to all the modern sports cars of this era, smokes everything for a 3rd of the cost.

    I bought a 2022 GT500 Heritage Edition (non track pack) because I love the car but also because I wanted to find something that would hold its value. However, Hard to imagine ever selling it because it’s so much fun!

      I agree with you. I have a 2021 ICONIC Silver (non track pack) These Cars are amazing. It would be a difficult decision to sell it.

      ‘20 Rapid Red non-CFTP. Got it for pleasure, all this talk about residuals is just gravy!

    *What car would you like to see analysed next* ?

    Excellent analysis as always. Would love to see a BMW M3 analysis of E30, E36, E46

    Thanks for the breakdown! I think base model GT500s WITH painted stripes will hold considerable relative value and be THE desireable base model (non-CFTP) GT500s.

    What about the newer Mustang saleen. They seem to hold value very well and there are fewer built.

    would love to see the difference between GT500 and GT350. Both special cars. 500's still out there in limited numbers as new, 350's gone since 2020 but lots on the market as used.

    I think the depreciation comparison with the GT3 is a little misleading, because the majority of those cars are being sold with dealer markups. As a result, I think a more accurate phrase would be price “normalization” rather than “depreciation”.

    This one may be a bit unique but would love to see a video about the ford F150 Raptor. One of the highest residual pick up trucks on the market.

    Are you comparing what the car actually sold for or asking prices?

    • @orjan-j2881
      @orjan-j2881 Před rokem +2

      It’s almost impossible to find the sold price

    • @here_for_the
      @here_for_the Před rokem +1

      About 90% of these cars sold above MSRP.
      About 8% sold @ MSRP.
      Very small amt (~2%) sold under MSRP.
      These are all estimates, & not actual #'s.
      We bought ours at below MSRP on a '22 GT500. & dealership wasn't happy about it at all. Tried everything to get out of our written contract. So a few were bought below sticker. We bought our '19 Bullitt at -$11k under MSRP, largely due to the peak scare of the Coof in April 2020.

    Only 12,000 GT500s were ever produced. As of last month, 100,000 (and counting) Corvettes….

      Where'd you find the 12K number? I'd be surprised if it is that low. I figured gloser to 18K

    • @xSIXTUSx
      @xSIXTUSx Před rokem +2

      On mustang6g looks like about 6k produced in 2020, about 5k in ‘21, under 4k in ‘22. So around 15,000 of the S550 GT500 produced until ford releases #’s.

    • @here_for_the
      @here_for_the Před rokem +1

      Just under 15k units from the #'s we saw recently, over 3yrs. A few hundred shy of 15k as I recall. Bullitt's were similar in #'s, on a 2yr production run of '19 & '20

    I think the GTD will cause these GT500 since they share the same engine. Ppl are gonna try to build and mod there GT500’s to cheaper GTD500’s versions of the 300k GTD

    Dude was not the owner or the GM. He was a GSM. Likely made $160 to $200k a yr.
    Not enough to afford a condo in that building + a $200k lambo ( used , wrecked, high miles )
    A new $200k GTR Tspec, a $100k Gt500, a $80k Supra Turbo, a $40k Ford Cobra etc. That is over $600k worth of cars. Even if he only owned the old Ford, there is no way banks are going to put that many loans in the street. Not at that DTI. Not sure what he makes on youtube but it has to be at least $150K+ a yr. He would need his job income alsoTo get those approvals. Unless..... His cutie of a wife is loaded 🙂. My guess is he is the bread winner and she is the home maker.
