I am surprised Peter crouch doesn’t have more of a following yet on this. He is underrated. I support arsenal but he was a decent player and is a top guy.

It's a new channel, it's not BBC produced or anything, for better independence from regulatory oversight, most likely. Luckily Crouchy kept the rights to the show. And what does being an Arsenal fan have to to with liking or not liking Crouchy?

What does parched mean in football term
It means like being a brown nose or kiss arse. It came from Crouch being on the training pitch having a drink of a water with his team but a couple of players would choose to have some face time with the manager or coaches instead so the other players joked that the player must be thirsty or ‘parched’ 😂

Sampaoli uses Pau Lopez the way it's talked in the beginning. He plays inbetween the 2 CBs, like 25 yards from his goal. It's frightening, but it frees up the fullbacks without having less midfielders. So Marseille plays 5-5-1
He does that a lot less with Mandanda (not sure why, or maybe it's just that he decided to drop that way of doing, and it's a coincidence that it happened around the time Mandanda came back)

You've spelt it correctly. It's an old podcast story, essentially "parched" was a nick name for a Stoke City player who was the biggest teacher's pet with the manager. I think it was Charlie Adam if I recall correctly. So in this case, Odegaard is the parched of Arsenal since he goes out of his way to speak Spanish to Arteta and essentially beg it

@@losangeles9320 Only if you listen to the podcast. In this original parched story, it was during a preseason in a very hot country, and during the water breaks Charlie Adam spent his time sitting with/brown nosing the manager instead of drinking water, hence the nickname "Parched".
