Why sol

Same, got to be Sol
Missed you boys so much. I once met your dad Bruce out in a pub with my dad, and my uncle who work with him. It was around the time Madrid was leaving spurs and your dad gave some sound advice that slightly broke my heart but was right. Love the pod boys, and have thousands have said to you crouchy, that goal against city was one of the best footballing moments of my life.
Every podcast I watch I lose weight the amount of tears that run down my face thanks for keeping me smiling 😃
I remember a coach pulled up at my school one lunch time . When the doors opened out came the West Ham team. James, Carrick, Joe Cole, Defoe, Di Canio, Sinclair and a bunch of others. They were playing Chesterfield in the cup and used our school for training. The teachers gave up trying to get all the kids back to class when the bell rang.
Every player who played with crouch loves him credit to the man a legend.
Best guest so far!!
didn't realise David James was so funny
Best one yet, what a great bunch had me in bits for 30 mins
''Teamnotmate" the greatest thing I've ever heard
Class work from Timo this episode
the line "comunally play lara croft" is absoloutely stupendous
The statement "the line "communally play Lara croft" is absolutely stupendous" is fandabidozi
@@archiehickox6518 The remark that "The statement "the line "communally play Lara croft" is absolutely stupendous" is fandabidozi" is splendiforous
This is the funniest podcast I have ever seen. Thank you crouchy and team
Absolutely quality pod
100% Sol Campbell - he’s a proper odd ball.
Portsmouth Player is Glen Little
This is the best pod in football
I love how this interview goes on PC is getting banged up. Good for him. Enjoy life…
i was doing push ups exactly at that "timo werner" part and i faceplanted me self! xD didn;t see that coming at all! he defo should comeback!
‘Team NOT-mate’ 😂
The addition of Statman Dave has been class. My only question is did you interview for the position and Dave was the best and biggest nerd for the role?
Jon Macken, on the subs bench, that had played striker for 10 years of his life at a top level, watched a goalkeeper go up instead of him. David James has no class; what the hell was thinking of not talking or apologising to him after the game, let alone telling Pearce to f off. He hasn't spoken to him Macken since, what a t'wat. Trained with him for a year(s) and couldn't have the class to have a 'beer' or a 'chat' with him after the game.
I like James' honesty here, but he comes across as a massive dick; albeit with decent stories. A man that is impervious to his own horrible demeanor, blowing his own trumpet constantly, constantly glossing over the reflectivity of his actions.
Probably met at the Pub and thought why not
I had a smart armani t shirt with David James on the front modelling years ago
Where can I watch the full pods? I have been lost for a while in the have a word whirlwind but have rediscovered the crouchy pod 🙌
Team not mates. Class
Great guest, really enjoyed the podcast.
Glad you enjoyed the podcast!
Pompey is big Sol... Easily the most grinding person in that team and I'm an Arsenal supporter 😂
He was the first one that came to my mind too. Love the fella but deffo rubbed most people the wrong way
Considering he did the dirty by walking out on both Spurs and Arsenal with a long reputation for being a friction person in real life, I'd bet that team-not-mate is sol.
would Sol Campbell even play a game of cards though?
No not cards someone else said merson was not their I think he was. Campbell nothing wrong with it gay as hell.
He doesn't look 51
Strange Stan didn't show up to the shoot he loves a good carpark !!!!
It sounds like the shirt was printed at half time lol

13:30 I wonder if the golden generation suffered the lack of bonding due to the drinking culture ending.
Not sol merson I think.
Merse wasn't there then.
@@andyh4084 I think he was in championship with them.
@@andrewmartin2103 he was in 2003. David James however wasn't at Pompey until 2006. They weren't at the club together, so it wasn't Merson.
Sol getting wrecked in comments, funny if it wasnt him!

Not one braincell between em
This episode was very similar to loose women. A lot of bickering! Can't stand the bloke on the left annoying and thinks he is hilarious
David James sounds like a bit of a bully
I really don't understand white British humour. Some of the jokes are honestly horrendous and dry.
This is not the peak of British humour and it’s very specific to the era and context. I think it helps if you’ve grown up in Britain, but I know loads of people who aren’t British who do ‘get it’. And although I do concede there are comedic differences between ethnic groups in the U.K, it’s not really down to colour but culture.
What makes you assume I'm a foreigner? To put the story straight my father and I were both born and bred here in London. So I'm totally familiar with all types of British humour. As I originally said this type just doesn't sit well with me. Again thanks for showing your true colours though.
@@Shyam1990 making a clumsy assumption doesn’t point towards anything more sinister than that. It sounded like something an American would say
