Steve Finnan is by far the best right back I've ever seen play at Fulham, he was faultless in our first promotion season into the premier league - absolutely gutted Liverpool nicked him. Easily the most consistent player in our squad while he was there.
To be fair, it wasn't just plundering Fulham - Finnan got a CL medal out of it and was genuinely appreciated by Liverpool fans. Proper old school defensive fullback, but had a surprising amount of attacking quality when he was allowed to show it.
