Piers reads out a tweet from transgender athlete Lia Thomas, who won a swimming championship title over Riley, which says it was 'heartbreaking' to see the number of opportunities transgender athletes are missing out on. Riley responds by asking what about women losing out on opportunities to biological males dominating their sport.

Riley is 100% correct. Men who are subpar athletes in their own division have figured out a way to dominate us in ours. It isn’t a hard concept to grasp. I bailed from playing roller derby after being seriously injured by a biological man who claimed to identify as a woman. They have infiltrated every women’s sport and still manage to look like victims. It is sickening.
Maybe this nightmare will only be rectified by a woman being tragically killed by a trans-person. For example in the sport of boxing, maybe not even then. These times are nuts.

If the tables were turned and a left leaning individual was being assaulted like Riley was, how loud do you think the outcry would be? It would be deafening! I was a Taekwondo athlete back in the day, and I couldn't imagine fighting with a biological male on the court, let alone winning against them. Thank you, Riley! I was never a Piers Morgan fan in the past but I applaud his position on this issue. I plan on having children with my partner and couldn't imagine having to explain to my little girl that a trans man beat her in any sport and gets a trophy for it, because that should be right and fair in society. I went through complete transition 20 years ago. I know that pound for pound I am stronger, and probably will always be stronger than a biological woman.I transitioned for me, to allow me to have a normal and happy life. If I was a competitor in a physical sport then never in a million years would I expect to be able to compete with a biological woman and if invited to do so then I would refuse. I sacrificed a lot during transition, I lost a lot, but nothing, absolutely nothing, was comparable to what I gained - happiness. If the happiness gained does not far outweigh the sacrifices made then don't transition, stay as you are and compete with your biological peers. As for being male bodied in a female changing room, well the last time a man waved his willy at me I made a complaint of indecent exposure that was upheld in a criminal court. I am not a biological woman, I never will be. I am a trans woman who to date has only ever had support, acceptance and help from other women and people who want to go in a female only space with a male appendage, or demanding rights that discriminate against biological women, are totally sabotaging that support.

I was actually leaving a food store with four big shopping bags in my hand and was going home. Yes, it’s baffling. Although maybe they were not really genuinely fighting for women. Just using a noble cause to actually just forward their self-interest. It seems time has uncovered their real motive. It seems it probably was just all about themselves.
