Piers Morgan also interviews champion cyclist Hannah Arensman, who has abandoned her Olympic dream and quit the sport after losing to a biological man.
Sharron details the abuse and backlash she's received for talking about the issue - but says she will continue to speak out because women already have such a small representation in sport as it is: ""The piece of the cake is tiny and now we’re being asked to budge over for biological males - it's infuriating!"

As a man in my 60's I know I couldn't compete in Little league baseball, those young guys are good. However if I were to identify as a 4 to 7 year-old I think I could be a star in T-ball. I don't run so fast anymore but I'm sure I could hit the ball farther than those little guys could. I'm just trying to decide if it would be unsportsmanlike to do this. I know I wouldn't want to compete against 4 to 7 year old girls, that would just plain be unfair. Right?

As a cyclist I know how hard the sport is and how much training and dedication is involved my heart breaks for Hannah to have to quite a sport she dedicated her life and loves is so gut wrenching, I have no issues with trans people and for them to do what they want to in order to be comfortable in their own skin but they have to stay out of sports.... I don't even know how trans females are passing the hemotocrit test....but don't get me started....

Would it be ideal if Muslim men were not sexually dependent on their women? For example would it be ideal if men could purchase (at low cost) harems of docile life-like forever-young sex robots?
How would you respond to Muslim men who justified this by saying such robots are necessary to give men true independence, such that they are not forced to stay in relationships with women who are rude, jealous, controlling, manipulative, fat, old, or ugly?
How would you respond to Muslim men who said that Muslim women need to "step up their game" such that men choose to be with them instead of a robot that is more friendly, beautiful, young, and thin?
The cop out answer is to say sex robots are haram, but there are other conceivable halal alternatives that would do the same thing: flood men with cheap alternatives. Obviously such alternatives would weaken and ultimately destroy marriage because it takes away the dependence that men have on women for sex.

I highly doubt those females will be much of a threat to the established male athletes in a sporting sense, they are unlikely to start beating the entire male field. However in respect of equality I think the suggestion of an open category for the transitioned athletes might be the best solution.

I'm a "baby boomer" and I will go to my grave knowing, and regretting, that we allowed this insanity to take hold of our political, cultural, economic and educational institutions. Shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted is as irrelevant now as it ever was.
The activists among us are insidious, and hate mainstream society, based on their own personal issues. Their legions are merely gullible and in search of meaning through protest. The activists flock to the public messaging, legal, and educational areas of society. By now it's self-perpetuating. We can't match their zeal or focus, since we have other priorities and interests. Our own propensity for tolerance and individualism has been successfully used against us. But at some point the consequences of their deluded faith will result in inevitable implosion, which will hopefully create a backlash in the next wave of young generations, who will treat the activists as the older establishment. We might not be around to see it happen.
As for minor quirks like men competing as women in sporting events, I think it's almost jumped the shark, and should come to an end within the next few years.

Sharon Davies has been a consistent, compassionate voice of reason in a rather insane and ever growing problem in woman’s sport. Anyone with a brain cell could not fail to agree with her common sense opinions. What a lady, not just using her voice of reason but also speaking out without fear in a world of snowflakes.x.
Seeing this was extremely disappointing as there's not really anything else to call it other than physical bullying in sport. If that had happened in a male competition it would be deemed to be extremely unsportsmanlike and would have likely resulted in them being disqualified.
There is a clear and distinct unfair advantage of trans women in sports - it's only the intellectually dishonest who can't see that at this point considering the generations of data and history that we have access to in the modern day. You're free to live your life as you wish, you're not free to infringe on the rights of other people and need to accept that your personal decisions may mean that you can't do everything that you want to in life.

What I think about is these women athletes who have put in the work training while also attending school at the same time. You hit the nail on the head when you said that transmen are not competing against biological men as they wouldn't stand a chance, yet biological women have to compete against transwomen, the world is upside down and something needs to be done as I highly doubt that the female cyclist that quit because of the transwomen issue dominating her sport is not going to be the last woman to quit their sport, it is going to get worse and worse, until only transwomen compete against other transwomen.
There are no "transwomen" or "transmen", only men and women.

There was a high school female volleyball player that was seriously injured by eight trans woman spiking the ball in her head. She had a concussion and neck injury. Will probably be dealing with the injury the rest of your life. Just make the one male happy.

The one simple question still stands: females at birth, later transitioned to males never compete in any men's physical sport event, but if there is no disadvantage (as there is no unfair advantage the other way around), why not?

Some of these men look so smug while they cheat it's hard to know what on earth they think. Onlookers think they're anything but impressive. But the real problem is the officials who enforce these unfair rules.
I wish some sharp lawyer would launch a class action lawsuit on behalf of those female athletes affected by this crap.

I've read over the years that the Great Sharon has been picked apart and almost financially ruined for defending womens rights to complete equally. I hope that we're moving into a time where her voice is heard... She has been there and done that and is deserving of her right to pass comment.
