- Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by British shot put champion Amelia Strickler after she wrote an article highlighting the difficulties biological women have with competing against transgender women in their sports.
Amelia believes that trans women have an unfair advantage as they may have gone through male puberty and don't suffer with menstrual cramps. She believes they are destroying opportunities for women born into biologically female bodies who have dedicated their life to a sport. Piers agrees and commends Amelia for her bravery as she reveals some big and recognisable names in sport have offered her their support in private - but are too afraid to speak out publicly for fear of damaging their careers.

Do you honestly think women haven't been speaking out on this issue? Women are stopped from expressing opinions on social media and deplatformed. The mainstream press won't touch these topics or side with women despite this being a majority view. It's a major breakthrough that a rapist has been stopped from entering a female prison when women have been campaigning against this for years. It's mostly male pro trans lobbyists pushing for men's fetishes to trump women's safety. And the pro ideology MP's are still keeping women out of the decision making in parliament. Most women agree with Trans ideology. It is just the women who play high level sports that disagree. The rest are all for it. Just go to a University or college campus and ask the women if they agree with Trans women in women's sports and 90% will agree.
I think women who play high level sports, are just jealous and feel threatened because the Trans women are better at female sports than they are. Women need to try and work harder. Competitive sport was never meant to be easy.

As a woman you should be horrified that women’s tennis is full of born males playing and stealing major tournaments. It’s been going on for decades. The only person who spoke out was called racist. The wta rules explicitly allow men to participate with a testosterone limit at 10nmo/l. The average female has a testosterone level of 1nmo/l

I should know. I'm a 59 year old M2F Post-Op transsexual who began my transition in the late 1970's while still at school & completed my SRS in the early 1980's. I'm 45 years on hormones & closing on 4 decades post-op. Women's voices need to be heard, not silenced. This is utter madness and should not be allowed. It's nothing more than legalized cheating in my eyes to allow a male to female trans person to compete in women's sports and no It is not being transphobic to speak out about this. So TRA's need to stop trying to brand folks transphobic just because they care about fairness in women's sports and the health/safety and wellbeing of women.
Many of today's M2F trans folk seem to be so far removed and blinkered to what being female is that they can not even empathise with a woman or see their own advantages they have over them in these areas when it comes to competing in sports. I find it hurtful and embarrassing. what it is to be transsexual has been hijacked over the decades and made a mockery of by these types you point out who are muscling in to women's sports.

Chiccarelli (2022) study which was a follow up study to Roberts (2020) the Usa Airforce study with a much larger sample (same air force trans samples and controls) & found that the running advantage was also eliminated. TW lose 21% over 2 years double the gender performance gap

I've transitioned from male to female and have been this way since I was 12. I fully agree that trans people should have their own category in sports that way it makes everything fair.

I hit some softballs the other day with my friends daughters team just fooling around and I hit every single one either to the fence or over it on the field we were at, none of the girls hit any over the fence and I’m a 40 year old man
Let's think about this for a moment - why did they even start women's sports decades ago? Because they knew then that there WAS A PHYSIOLOGICAL DIFFERENCE between men and women, and they could not compete evenly against each other! If there was not physiological difference, they would have just made all the sports co-ed, being as it would have been cheaper and easier to just go co-ed. (sorry for shouting)

All womens world records in track & field have been eclisped by 15 & 16 year old boys. The male advantage can never be reduced by sex change or hormone therapy, regardless of testosterone level reduction post puberty.

Piers said something really important in this interview and that is women ultimately must standup for their rights. This is where the push has to come from for change to occur. All hell broke loose when the slogan "transwomen are women" got codified into law and that has to be reversed. Ultimately trans needs to have their own lane in regard to sports.

It's impractical to have a third category. It's already difficult enough to get volunteers for the existing categories. Remember, most Sport events rely on volunteers.
The fair solution is to have an open category for men and trans, and another category for biological female athletes.

I don't see a problem with this. We allow women to serve in the police force and in the military alongside men. Do you think a female police officer has an advantage over a male criminal or a female soldier has an advantage over a male soldier in combat? True equality should be across the board, including in sports.

The time is coming when a half decent footballer that players for a poor mens team on poor wages says hold on I’ll say I’m a women and play for Man City women and triple my wages.
Sport classification systems aim to group competitors by physical ability (whether age, gender, or impairment) but gender classification doesn't achieve this goal because the physical fitness levels trans athletes can obtain (and which remain at too high a degree for long periods after transition) prior to transition; give them a lasting unfair advantage. Professional sports bodies need to start classifying by sex, instead of gender. This would take all the social implications out of the classification. The fallout would be that MTF athletes would still be perfectly free to choose to transition but at the expense of disadvantaging themselves against other male competitors and with no option to complete, at an advantage, against female athletes. What that means is, these trans athletes, who are dominating women's fields, will have to be mid packers in male fields just like the huge number of highly motivated but genetically limited athletes who spend a life on the fringe of top level success, not quite able to make it, because there can only be 1 winner, 10 in a top 10, etc., and not all of us are going to be in that minority.
And me with my noodle arms could barely manage 5 meters.
There should definitely be an open or trans category, period, or no period; it's clearly not fare.

So much science goes into getting athletes to their peak physical condition & there are regulations covering every conceivable advantage that can be taken. To think that someone who's biologically & physically entirely different can get past all that is just crazy!
Why anyone can think the battle for women's rights is over is beyond me; society's been going backwards in the last 5 years.
Let them participate in their own categories! Trans against trans! Build them their own bathroom facilities ! Girls and women deserve to be champions in their own right!

What this segment fails to point out is that the Women's shot put is just over half the weight of the Men's shot put. And even then, the distance record for the Men's is higher than the Women's. So if any decent male shot putter one day decides to identify as a woman and compete in the Women's divisions, records would be broken almost immediately.

1.why not make a trans category and if it reaches a certain nr of contestants they can compete
2.if men that are now trans women have no advantage over women, why dont we see any women that are trans men compete în the men category? Because they maybe know they have a HUGE disadvantage?

In the wonderful Paralympics, they are all divided into categories that determine competition standards. All trans athletes, there own category for competition. As should be for all athletes who want to take performance enhancing drugs and compete according to what sort of drugs they take. The scientific data that would be gained would put to rest if those such substances are actually performance enhancing when compared to naturally performing athletes in the same events. Then we would also have the long term benefits and deleterious effects of taking such substances by those who voluntarily choose to do so.

Stop saying no one wants to be unfair to trans over and over again and focus on the what’s actually fair and just for female sports and keep the integrity of the rules.
