As a huge boxing fan this was another great 1. But I have never questioned ben...think he has done amazing for his young years and still has at least 30 years left
Hits every nail on the head, despite being younger, he’s been in more difficult positions than most trainers today and always came out with positive results. Nothing but respect for the guy
You learn more in defeat than victory in some.cases
Any fight he has taken up in levels?
Even domestic to world level?

@@bigdizzle6157 he was basically a friend and a personal trainer. He deserves credit to help Tyson get back to fitness.
I terms of technical skill, no he looked far better once leaving Ben. He took Tyson who was already the best heavyweight in the world before he had him and kept him at the same level
This man deserves so much credit for how he was a massive part of Tyson fury recovery what a man he is so humble but to have that in you to save someone reaching out for help deserves the utmost kudos ❤️
100% the best chat I've seen with a coach. And what a great coach really really smart dude. If u want to understand coaching in any sport listen to this guy. It applies to any sport

What a great interview! Ben's wise beyond his early 30's, Ben & his team are some of the smartest young trainers in Boxing. He's got AJ dialed all the way in right now, both of them get along greatly as well. Ben's got a great team with him & has a good stable of fighters including AJ, Haney etc....Boxing is 80% Mental 20% Physical.🥊

What a experienced brain on such a young shoulders. So much respect to Ben. Never has a bad word to say about anyone. And he’s so good at not dwelling on the negative and living in past. He focuses on the hear and now. And goals for the future. James awesome as always! Great questions! Always allowing everyone get there story out.

Ben is the most talented young British coach. Unlike many boxing coaches, he’s not a system coach following a rigid style template. He adapts to the fighter and lives the fight with the fighter too. Great future 🥊

Very good interview Ben Davison is a new breed of trainer. His passion for boxing is what makes him good he's always willing to learn himself. No.matter what he does in his career he can always look back and know he done something great helping to re-build a very ill man. What he achieved with Tyson Fury was inspirational. When the Tyson Fury is told after he's finished with boxing I hope Ben Davison is remembered for saving Tyson the man for his family friends. Enjoyed the podcast

Great to see how a young trainer thinks and what his philosophy is on Boxing. It's interesting because people talk about guys like Eddie Futch, Cus D'Mato, Brendan Ingle, Slim Jim etc. but we seen them as old men, they must've been young like Davison at one point, had all these ideas and soaking up knowledge/learning way before social media existed. We will definitely watch him in 30 years and see how much he's evolved over time and how much his ideas on Boxing has changed or been further enhanced.
Social media has taken away the keeping your head down and learning stage.

It must be hard being a young boxing coach, because I would of thought it’s hard to gain boxers respect being so young. It shows how good he is.

Great interview! Been around boxing all my life, my Dad and Uncles were all decent fighters 1934's onwards, this guy seems to have old school thinking, but with modern skills in terms of diet, wish him well after achieving this much at such a young age!
As a coach in a different world, his insights are fascinating about his techniques/thinking. It was certainly already in his fabric from a young age.

This guy has done very well for someone literally learning on the job! He has been extremely lucky to have had the likes of Billy Joe and Tyson to learn from but he has grabbed the opportunity by the horns and made good of it. That deserves respect
