Do you think Ngannou’s a serious threat?
Absolutely not... I'll be printing money on AJ,thanks very much 😊
AJ will hav to box and move. Nganu is a sold massive unit who is use to any strike But he might tire out as AJ out boxes him..
@@AshleyWilliams-lx4mpyou’re living in lala land buddy 😂
AJ will get destroyed on the inside
No chance
Superb. Ben conducts himself so well, and Adam actually listens to his answers instead of jumping in every couple of seconds.
Thanks, Paul 🙏
I don’t always agree with Adam Caterall but I really rate him as a journalist
Adams one of the best in the buissness.love his insight and knowledge on combat sports
Difference between Adam and Simon Jordan and Gareth A Davies. Adam respects the people he talks to.
I'm liking Ben more and more.. he grown on me.i remember seeing him as 26yrs old
He's grown on you because you're an AJ fanboy.
@@Gazza75 I can't be a fan boy if I'm supporting a fellow Nigerian and a man who has a good heart and has inspired 1000os young 🌱 children.. I'm 6 yrs older than Ben and when he came out with fury I was like how is this young boy coaching Tyson fury?.. so get Ur hatin as* outta here. Minge

@@Gazza75what a weird way to respond to that person’s comment. He mentioned nothing about AJ at all. Says more about you than him.

Best in the business this lad, if any of my sons ever wanted to box competitively and I could pick from any of the uks top coaches it would be Ben for sure
Such a top bloke Ben Davison.👌
💯
Best coach in England
Really enjoy Ben Davison interviews. What he has achieved & is achieving, is so incredible
Catts, that’s one of the most enjoyable boxing interviews I’ve ever watched. Your energy, enthusiasm and enjoyment for this comes through in spades my friend 👏👏
Class video - two great conservationists. Adam giving Ben a platform to actually speak
right up there with david attenborough in terms of conservation
Aj got that look confident look again shows amazing work u done amazing how take it to new level
Great interview, I could listen to Ben for hours
Thank you 🙏. And yeah Ben is a top guy
I got francis doing the job but the only reason I'm not 100% confident is because the mind behind it all ben is operating on different levels and it's hard to bet against any of his stable because he literally changes broken people restores there confidence sees things and they ends up coming away outstanding. This guy really deserves more credit for how many people he has helped credit as a human being
I think that joshua wins pretty much every round mate tbh he only needs too match the level he showed against otto n he wins in a landslide 30+ punches a round is all that it takes too beat francis! But all respect too the power francis has n also his chin seems solid until he gets tired!
Both these comments aged like milk 🤣
@seemymobot4987 I wouldn't say mind did buddy?? I literally said joshua would win easy n every round just didn't see a quick devastating knockout like that n not many people did tbh mate what was your prediction then joshua round 2 n drops him 3 times lol??
Ben is a very good trainer and im glad AJ is being given a helping hand to rejuvenate his boxing career. He did a lot to bring Fury back from the abyss and that in itself was very impressive, its a shame Fury's team dropped him (not sure if it was Big John Fury's decision but remember an interview years ago ripping into Ben). Regardless of the result between Aj and Ngannou i hope Aj sticks with Ben and they eventually get the Fury and Usyk rematch under his wing.
Fury's dad sure didn't say anything positive about Ben to keep him as Tyson's trainer. I think if he remained, although Tyson's won his fights anyway, i think he would be a better rounded fighter under Ben.
@@leonardcharles59it was after the wallin fight that he was released if my memory is correct. Aleays the trainers who are made scapegoats
Ben Davidson, pure class.
Thank you for bringing back AJ back Ben, thanks mate.
Superb interview. Need more of this
Love how Ben has grown. He has taken a lot of shit and criticism. He never bad-mouth's people, always respectful, even when they leave him. There is a lot of jealous people out there, who like seeing people fail. SUCCESS is the best form of revenge. Ben deserves everything he has earned. To all the Boxercise Ben knobheads out there, it's time to move onto your next target. Great interview Adam and Ben
What a great interview!
Great rapport between these 2.
I watched the Ben interview with IFL and Ben didn’t seem comfortable.
Adam is a great credit to the sport with his knowledge and passion for boxing, a true fan.
So much love for Ben. Talented, old head, and tons of humility. Super glad he's with AJ now...imagine the final scenario of a possible AJ v Fury trilogy🚀🚀🚀
Really enjoyed this interview, what I've been looking to hear.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Always liked Ben and its great to see him finally get some respect from the wider boxing world
Finally? 😂
Catterell has that unique ability of answering the question before asking it.
One of the best pundits around
Greatly enjoyed the chat. Hat's off to both. Subscribed. Best regards.
Class trainer, still young as well so many years left in the business. Conducted himself during this so well!
Two of my fav fight people loved it
Well i didnt expect such a great interview.
BD has a fantastic boxing mind and is massively underrated. Really good interview.
This guys a good interviewer
Really great interview and so insightful.
Great interview
Brilliant intervie - great questions and insightful answers. Love to see it 🔥🔥🔥
Huge respect to Ben and team. Love the combination of them with Aj. Just seems to work so well. Good luck to Aj and Ngannou. Whoever wins! We can’t wait for Friday!
They’re similar people
Ben has always figured high on my list of trainers. Way ahead of most of the so-called great trainers. I am pleased for him that he is finally getting the recognition he deserves. To achieve so much at such a young age and with no real boxing experience is bordering on a genius level. So far only established boxers have called on his services, but I am 1000% sure he can and will take one from scratch to the world champion level.
That in itself says so much. The established fighters clearly believe in his strategy
Beautiful interview
Amazing interview and a great coach/man Ben is.
Awesome interview
What a genuine fella Ben is refreshing to see 🥊🥊🥊🥊
One of the best trainers on earth
Great interview thanks.
Great episode cat man
Very good interview enjoyed that breakdown lads
Catman getting the best from an interviewee again...legend
Great interview 👍
This is gold thankyou
So refreshing to see someone be self depreciating and open. I hadn’t thought about it until now but I do watch any interview I come across with Ben in it as he’s always honest and no BS. Proud he’s a Brit 👍🏻 Being at this level at such a young age does make me think where he’ll develop in years to come. Hats off to him……..(Quality interview, great channel)
Appreciated 👊
Ben is a very clever man🙌🏻
Great interview from both! 🙌
🙌
Great Interview Adam....Ben certainly is an asset for any fighter and it will be interesting if AJ and Tyson do fight from Ben's point of view
Ben speaks so well & must be a great coach to work with
Nice one Adam! Great interview
Really happy for Ben, what a story it would be to help AJ be undisputed. Good luck lads
Welcome to the Second Half of the Uriah Rennie show. We miss you Adam.
V' Good production and a really good interview. Thanks for this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Top Interview
Great interview!
Thank you 🙌
Good stuff Ben. I sometimes bump into him in sports direct
Boxing fans are the most fickle in any sport. I remember all the hate this lad got when he was with Fury, he was routinely called a 'glorified pad holder' or 'P.E. teacher Ben' in the comments section of any interview he gave. Different story these days, read for yourselves.
The whole world is fickle everyone is on your dick until you stop doing well then they hate you
So true. Happens in every instance regarding everything. If I had the time I’d screenshot comments before and after any fight/change just to see the 180 everyone does. From people “ducking” fights to hated fighters becoming loved after winning a title. Folk are just spineless
Yeah it was like people wanted him to fail. Maybe because he was Furys coach it was just haters. He's learning and improving as he said, and he is young so time on his side
That's sport though, he was the new kid on the block , now he has proved himself more he is respected
Dont forget after Joyce beat Parker he was the guy to beat AJ
The guy Eubank snr refers to as a PE teacher .. I like Ben and his methods he’s done brilliantly and the page he’s on I also look at boxing that way. He’s more about head strong mentally your in the right frame of mind confident in what you do and your game plan preparation is on point .. one of the best trainers in uk easy
Adam I just love this. Being a boxing coach myself I am just fascinated to see how AJ develops under Ben . I felt before that AJ had chosen the RIGHT coach as with Derrick James as Derrick teaches a particular style basic upon physics and I wanted to see how he was going to use this particular style with AJ and to see whether this was going to work. Now AJ is with Ben and as you quite rightly so mentioned that Ben is very analytical in his thinking and on the other hand you have AJ as what many have said a boxing sponge constantly absorbing information. I have been very critical of Ben in the past as I believe his teaching to be too complex and I do not believe teaching certain scenarios to boxers to what to expect if something happens or having a Plan A; B or C . After being involved with fighting systems all my life I teach a specific style of boxing in Peek a Boo boxing style. We rely on the system itself; we do not work on scenarios or have plans. Mike Tyson has famously said your plan goes out of the window when you get punched in the face . Mike also never studied other fighters before fighting them. He just relied on the Peek a Boo system. However there has not been another champion since Mike Tyson using the Peek a Boo system you might add. So true. However what I would say to this is that 99.9% of trainers do not know the concepts of the system and do not know how it works and definitely cannot teach it. I have been told by my mentor and coach that the style was training in secret it was not widely exposed because fighters that learned under the system had an advantage so Cus kept all of his training very private and closed off to the public.
Mygggg Aj 🤫🔥💯
Got give Ben respect see that fire aj got back respect
Top man is Ben. Respect to the grind
Awesome interview............ Great final segment on the building the best fighter: Ring IQ, Power; Feet; Defence; Jab.............. but you missed Fastest Hands!! :)
Appreciate it, Scott!
AJ wins inside 6 , I said that
Ngannou causes the upset.
@@chrisnewell1065 I really don't mind either way , I like both , but I got a feeling that AJ gonna go beast mode , I also could be totally wrong, that's heavyweight boxing for you
@fourQQ I personally think if A.J goes into beast mode, it will be a big mistake vs. the actual beast.. A.J best chance of winning is by boxing cleverly and carefully.. but I can just see Ngannou catching him.
mate im a huge fan of aj but im a mma fan first and im telling you ..and i got aj as fav to win but theres no way hes stopping francis in 6 rounds ..if the fight is done within 6 the only guy that wins tht is francis ..il be honest ill be surprised if he even knocks francis down once. aj by points or a stoppage late due to francis being exhausted or francis cleans him out
I’d love for AJ to go beast mode, but I can see him getting clipped unfortunately.
Great interview very frank..
🙏
I would love to watch a fight with Davison in the room. The man has savant level observation skills
excellent questions from Adam where he actually listens to the answers and develops the narrative
This is a rare talent in todays fickle entertainment industry
Ben would put that right look what he done with fury he may of drew that 1st wilder fight but we all know he won amd thats thanks to ben and his tatics and his experience ❤
Legend already
What a lovely guy knows what he’s talking about . Doesn’t get enough credit as a trainer
Playesd Ben ❤I just want people to do well ❤
Great interview
I followed Ben from his time with Tyson. Then started to like him more and more for his work with Leigh Wood. I am an unashamed AJ fan boy, so I am loving the clarity he brings to AJ.
But I doubt if it will ever happen.
But I would love to see Ben train Maxi Hughes. I love Maxi and I think how cool it would be if Ben was able to help Maxi set himself up for life.
Thanks for the support 🙏 Very interested to see how Maxi gets on tonight…
If Ben continues to train AJ, I think he not only heats Ngannou but also wins against Usyk. He has gpt AJ believing in himself again and letting his fists go. Ben hugely underestimated and deserves everything coming his wsy😊
Ben is extremely keen to put that right for him. Not sure after the 2nd anyone would predict an intriguing 3rd, but we may just see it.
Totally agree had not thought AJ would fight Usyk again after last one but the Davison AJ combo gives some belief he might win @@OneOnOneBoxing
For “heart” I’d have to go with Arturo. Every time.
Nice guy very loyal
The difference in this fight will actually be Ben Davison. He is now becoming master at game-planning...telling his fighters to throw the right shot at the right time....very tactical coach who has a great...like-minded team behind him. Lee Wiley....Davison's No 2 is a very underrated...but extremely talented boxing trainer also. IMHO he's a better trainer than Dewy Cooper...who although is a top level Boxing/Kick-Boxing/MMA coach...who has worked in the corner of may boxing Champions I truly believe this will be the best version of Joshua we've seen to date. An active Joshua IMHO is the best HW in the world. Ngannou was my favorite MMA fighter. He has the size...the strength...the toughness/durability.....the chin and most definitely the power to beat AJ...THAT'S A FACT.
But...the real facts is that he had a very close fight with a severely under-prepared Tyson Fury.....but no doubt Ngannou is a capable boxer contrary to what many think. But again he lacks the experience really at the top level. Let's remember who Anthony Joshua is....former Olympic Gold Medalist.....won Silver at the World Amateur Championship......former 2x Unified World HW Champ. Joshua has a chip on his shoulder that's when he's at his most dangerous. I just think that Joshua is too experienced and too seasoned for Ngannou. Joshua will be too fast and too precise for Ngannou...who I believe is really gonna have a big problem with Joshua's fast...precise...varied jab.....that jab is gonna win the fight for Joshua. Joshua's movement/footwork...defensive will be too much. More importantly....Joshua is way more explosive than T. Fury and that's gonna cause Ngannou problems too.
Joshua I believe will put on a clinic against Ngannou and show the world who he really is. He's the finished article now...complete.
I have to agree with him about Floyd. Mayweather is certainly the best defensive fighter of all time and his counter punching and speed was second to non. Ring IQ he was even a level above master jedi. Even though there was a size difference look what Mayweather done to Marquez - one of the best mexican boxers of all time technically. Mayweather did not lose a single round of that fight and Marquez was going to toe to toe with a prime Pacman in all their fights
this interview seems be going so under the radar. certain media still questioning Bens ability to have any meaningful impact on Joshua’s style or right to be there even. the Wallin performance showed us there’s changes that could be made with him& i’m looking forward, again, to his fights. team Tony J checking in🥊
Rated Ben ever since he brought Tyson from the brink to schooling Wilder in just 3 fights and what was really quite a short period of time to lose so much weight and after so long out. The moment AJ brought him in I thought ‘this is an interesting choice’. AJ certainly looked different against Wallin, curious against Unganu. Don’t know what to make of Fury fight performance but he certainly isn’t there to make up the numbers!!!!
Also, Adam has become one of my favourite boxing analysts along with Nick on fight disciples. Another great interview! Thanks!
Has Ben Davison ever fought, even as an amateur? This isn’t a dig by the way, just genuinely curious.
Can’t stand Catterall but can’t miss & Davidson interview.
Helped Tyson aswell deserve respect have be doing something right and only get better
Uncomfortable to see how obsequiously the interviewer behaves. A bit of self respect is always a good thing.
Great coach
Ben is doing a fantastic job with Joshua and that's clear to see
Jab - Holmes
Power - Foreman
Feet - SRR
IQ - SRR
Heart - Ali
You can tell im an old guy lol
imagine a fighter with all that 😂 crazy thought. Add haglers grit and mayweathers defence 😅
Some great shouts there… Can’t help but petition for Ben on Leigh Wood’s heart though - he is a true modern throwback.
I’m a neutral , I’ve got aj on points as the safe prediction, but the thought of him being rocked by a shot and not recovering is not something I see as being impossible
It would certainly be interesting to see Ngannou land clean… expect AJ to keep this on the outside early.
Around 20 minutes in the AJ stuff 21:00
Appreciate it
Iq: Mayweather
Defence: Mayweather
Footwork: Pac-Man
Power: foreman
Jab: Larry Holmes
Left hook: Frazier
Infiting/clinch work: Duran
Outside: Leonard
Head movement: Loma
Heart: Vinny Pazienza
Adam Catterall loads better without Nick Peet tagging along
Is that the clueless ex fighter who bases every opinion on logical fallacies?
Ben is a top trainer. Not sure how he is outsude of heavyweight, but has done great at heavyweight
5 🌟 coach 💯!!💪🦾😮😮
How am I already subscribed to this ? Oh well.
Thought Ben was a muppet, warming to him big time, im hoping AJ gonna get his act together with Ben, with optimism, Wallin fight better, hoping a lot more to come
Ben D training AJ against Sugar and Tyson will be interesting
Always liked Ben, when he came on the scene he gave me pep/Mourinho vibes - this new way of thinking - AKA he has an i.q and tried to create a better boxing i.q in his fighters
WoW, wow, wow...let's go baby, AJ vs AU "3" should definitely happen, as a fan I feel AJ was robbed of a fair chance to show and prove himself a worthy opponent against AU, not taking anything away from Usyk's ability and talent, but this time he'll be facing a killer AJ.
Great interview but i cannot believe you didn't ask who he thought would win Fury vs AJ. In fairness he probably would've avoided a clear answer but the question should've been asked
Always rated Ben as a trainer. Great insights when breaking down fights and great boxing IQ. Never understood why he got so much stick from “fans” of boxing. I’ve rarely if ever heard him talk complete b*ll*cks when it comes to boxing. Same can’t be said for most.
