I have come to notice that united play to the level of their opponents. Against a great Liverpool team we were as good if not better at times, but then we play a team like Brentford who have their ups and downs, and we seem to play worse or just like them and draw. About players salaries: Johan Cruijff introduced already when he was coach at Barcelona: payment for prizes. Let's say average basic monthly pay and very high bonuses when winning the title, natonal cup and European cups. Brings more motivation for the players

I believe Ten Hag goes harder on players that he believes in and goes easy on those who he doesn't believe in. I think he wants instill a mentality in the younger players no matter how well you play and how hard you work you need to go above and beyond. I'd love to see Rashford be sold.
If we cant even play mix and match in some of the positions (why play Casemiro) against Coventry, then I have to seriously question whether we are deserved to even be in the contention of any european competitions.

We have a shaky rickety defence. We have had 26 different combinations at the back. The two, Mainoo and Casemiro, that sit in front and meant to drop back and defend would work if....Bruno Garnacho and Rashford/Antony come back and it hasnt been happening. I think mainoo should be alongside mount (?) Casemiro dropped and we look much better with Garnacho left Antony right Bruno central. Antony was good against chelsea and he gets back much more than the Human Hatstand....
I really want to get behind these this weekend, but the thing is I just donât trust them. Like Iâm sad that I wouldnât be surprised if United lose this game.
