Martinez is not just a centre back, he is United’s deep lying playmaker, with the ability to control a game from the back. This is not to denigrate Varane. Personally, I’ll keep the both of them. In fact Martinez can form the future spine of the team with Mainoo, Garnacho and Hojlund.
He’s the most complete CB we have. Although Martinez is better at passing and Maguire is a good CB in a lower block and got a good header in him. Varane is definitely the best and we should keep him if we can lower his wage

Go educate yourself. He’s literally one of the quickest CBs in the league… great at defending in wide areas and recovering quickly. No idea if he’d work out as well as ppl seem to assume he would, but his athleticism won’t be the reason why. I’ve seen so many ppl compare him to Maguire with no knowledge outside of they’re both tall and British.

Do a swap deal with pellistri for anselmino and a swap deal with wan bissaka for geertruida from feyenoord instead of signing frimpong . Then we only spend cash on toney/someone else, youssouf fofana and todibo. Work smart not hard.
