No one can deny that Sancho is talented and has played well for Dortmund in the past and last night but he hasn't performed at United. There may be multiple reasons for that but wanting to bring him back because "he might come good", "he could play better" isn't enough. It's that attitude why we are locking into terrible contracts and now looking at a squad clear out. Both club and player just need to move on.

The older man should be able to mediate a resolution and move on without demanding the other man apologies, two himself, his teammates, and publicly for a disagreement where both parties were at fault.
I would have sat the young man down and said, "We probably both haven't handled this situation perfectly. However, we both need each other to be successful, and we need to move forward as the matters of the club are bigger than a personal battle between us. He is not the fastest, and he is not necessary someone for one worldclass moment.
