Several years ago I went to a Christmas party and there was a Barbershop Quartet dressed in Dickensian costumes walking around sing carols. Someone requested “Joy to the World” and this is what they sang. Caught everyone off guard and did it wonderfully. Great choice, Harri.
Shambala, One, Mama Told Me Not to Come, Never Been to Spain, and many more. Lots of great 70s music from Three Dog Night. And their live performances are usually hilarious.

I was in "Chorus" in 5th and 6th grade. We would perform at junior highs and have concerts at our school. We sang "Joy To The World" and "Hair" among other contemporary songs of that era. Our chorus teacher/pianist was a cute, modern woman of the the late '60's early 70's with her mini-skirts, mini-dresses and fashion. She was cooler than the other side of the pillow. Good stuff, Imadrummin! Harri was digging this, brother. Thanks, fellas!

In the U.S., this song was HUGE -- it was the #1 song of the year 1971, getting massive airplay and selling over 5 million copies. I don't think it was as big in the U.K., but here in the states, it was everywhere. You couldn't escape it!
One of the best songs that Three Dog Night came out with featuring Chuck Negron on vocals, his voice can go as sweet and soft and tender as possible and yet he can kick ass if need be on a song.
