Had that gun when I was in 7th grade 1989. It did the job. It's so easy to pump vs a Crosman 2100 classic and the stock never got loose. I loved that gun. My friend had the 2100 it was also a worthy shooter. We never worried about accuracy, just sighted in the Tasco 4x15 and blasted everything.
Very accurate little guns for sure. Many folks use a wrap or two of electrical tape about 3/8 to 1/2 inch from the muzzle to stop barrel wobble. TP will let the barrel start to float eventually. Also after 10 pumps the amount of speed you get is really not that much, besides it puts LOTS of undo stress on the guns working hinge parts. Nice little revue, thank you. BTW: What scope are you using ?
I hear that buddy. I used to use my dad Benjamin Sheridan 22 .cal open sights that thing was so dead on i was hitting the big carpenter bees with it. In the summer time they would make holes in the wood carport in our back yard so every time i go out side they would attack me so i attacked back lol.
thank you very much and merry x-mas i will try electrical tape, did not think about that because of the barrel being tucked in side i had to put the toilet paper and stuff it then i put a few drops of super glue to keep in place. the scope is a no name 4x28 it came with the rifle from my local pawn shop. I been trying to find out who makes it also it is very clear and small and compact i really like it. as for the 15 pumps i do when i shoot i've done a lot of testing and yes you're right i am not getting no more speed but the testing speaks the truth in my shooting i will do a video on accuracy 15 pumps vs 10 pumps it does not perform good at 10 pumps but this is my preference.
