  • 10 yard zero was used since pumps cover a 10 - 20 yard zero, for example lower pumps a 10 yard zero will be flatter shooting and higher pumps up to a 20 yard zero for flat shooting. with a duplex reticle no hold over is good, for mill dot no problem to work with longer range loopy trajectory sight ins, the 7.7 was used to give data because its a affordable pellet for most to shoot and at least get a idea of drop after you zero in 5 pellets to 10 yards....confirming long rang drops 10 pellets is a good number to confirm drop, just measure from the center of the group and not just for a shot or two, at long ranges you need more shots to confirm expected P.O.i or point of impact

Thanks for taking the time to provide this information. I'm looking to acquire an 880 soon but don't have a chronograph so this will give me something to use as I do my own testing. Well done, very helpful
