At first glance, "llevar" and "traer" seem exactly like "ir" and "venir". They ARE like them. But not EXACTLY. When schools, books and courses present them in a simple manner, they're kinda missing the part that actually confuses us lol. If YOU'VE ever been confused by the words "take" or "bring" -- watch this video!

One of my Mexican friends says to me "Why would you want to take a pee or take a crap? I want to get rid of it!"
That's hilarious. I absolutely love hearing these things. In a related matter, my friends tell me they used to always hate having to say "sheet" [of paper] in class, because they were scared it would sound like "shit" (we're all adults here).
Also an old George Carlin joke.
Most likely the best explanation of llevar vs traer I’ve ever encountered. Eres un enseñante excelente.
Jimmy must be going to a Venezuelan store looking at the amount of money that's required to buy two bags of groceries.
Anne-Marie Loves Fruit LMAO
Anne-Marie Loves Fruit 😂
Good teacher, thanks
Traer and Atraer... I love how easy you make it!
I confuse llevar and llegar
to take & to arrive
i confuse all the verbs that start with "ll" lol : llegar, llevar, llenar, llorar"
@@sangeethai I do too. I had to make a list of all the "ll" verbs to get them straight. Don't forget "llamar"!
@sangeethai omg i do too! lmao, ive been improving though. Songs have helped me with this. for example i distinguished "llamar" because of selenas song "la llamada" ive never confused it again! 🌸🖤
Thanks so much for all your hard work!!!!!! Your videos are seriously accelerating my Spanish studies at the moment.
I think of 'drag ere and heave thar'.so here is always going to be from the speakers view and thar is always going to be away from them..Loved how you used grandma to explain it. Very clear thanks
What about tomar?
You're an amazing teacher, can you please upload English Grammar videos?
You’re good at clarifying. I 100% agree with you that English is messed up. I came to that conclusion during my initial process of learning Spanish. I can appreciate, and it impresses me, that Spanish speakers learn English so well, it shows how smart Spanish speakers are.
Anyone learning English has trouble learning "take" and "bring" regardless of their native language.
@@scottlarson1548 yea man it’s really cool of the different perspectives each language brings.
The best explanation of llevar y traer! (ps. wanted to buy your t-shirt but the link on your website is broken.)
In the southern part of the US they will say, Can you carry me to the store? Not literally of course
Jordan as you say the spanish way us easy !! Its the english version thats difficult.
¡Primero! Lol (Gracias a Frank)
Primero :)
Es incorrecto decir te traigo la medicina? Si la persona esta en otra ubicación? O se usa te llevo la medicina?
Hi

Lleve una vida dura = i had a hard life
Can we eat
Good explanations, but watching your videos gives me a headache after a while when you edit out all the pauses between sentences. It feels like I'm being force-fed the information.
Very confusing explanation.
