Very Deep learning curve and very misunderstood machine. An absolute powerhouse in the hands of those that invest their time into learning the MV. Also, you sound like Jean Claude VanDam.

WaxDat8800 hi! Your comment is totally appreciated ✌🏽👌🏽.
I see where this unit is coming from because it’s full of SP-808 workflows.
Can’t wait to spend more time with it. I feel that this is going to be my centrepiece.
About JC Vandamme...wish I had also the body🤣🤣
But you’re right...we both speak the same language (Dutch) so the accent should be the same.
Again thanks for taking time to post a comment. Your videos and the ones from Mike Acosta made me buying this unit.
      💪🏽👌🏽✌🏽🤙🏽

Roger, The "MV Yoda" has noticed you. WaxDat8800 is indeed the BEST knowledge source of all things MV (my opinion, and others). Once you dive into the MV, the exploration potential is endless. Peace...Netm8kr

Pizza Gogo Hi! Thanks for supporting me.
Yeah, just received this unit and I’m really impressed. The workflow is typical Roland and I’m happy with that.
Be prepared for more videos 😁.

Great stuff sir! You would have been great for the site “MVNation” back in 2006 to 2010. Great stuff 👍🏾! If Roland sees enough of these types of videos, they may feel inspired and motivated to do what us old MV kats have been clamoring for...The MV-X!!!

KeysBeMe hahaha The MV-X sounds cool! Would be amazing.
Yeah...I wish I would have known the machine and the movement in those years.
It has to do with the fact that these machines are now available for reasonable prices. Also I love the fact that it offers sooooo much. It really asks to get explored.
It’s like the SP-808 and the VP-9000. Bought them for almost nothing and they are sooo cool.
Thanks for subbing and taking time to comment on my vids.

It’s like they have decided to let other brands do it.
And yes, it’s an amazing machine.

Patrick Martin heeeey! How are you doing?
Long summer with too many hot days to grab videos. Also kids all the time around..🙈
Used the summer to do a gear clean up. Sold so many pieces...W-30, 1xS-330, S-550, MC-09, MC-307, SP-505, SP-404A, TB-3 and some midi controllers.
I was infected by videos of the MV-8000 and then I saw one on eBay here in Spain.
I’m totally amazed about this unit.
I have to discover this unit completely and I’m thinking to share that path with CZcams.
Ah...in my next vids I will do it the other way around. Me in the corner and the MV-screen big.
      Fine tuning the quality 😁.
We stay in touch, my friend

Hey Roger, to tell you the truth, i was worried and thinkin that maybe you live in an area of Spain where the fire was burning, well, then i said to myself noway, he's just on vacation with the family...you see, you used to upload a lot of videos, so your absence was very clear...i also sent you a mail on August, at 8th of August..
It's fine that you're back, your videos are really interestent, and pleasant to watch...:)

Blocksource Music Cool, isn’t it? It came with the wooden panels when I bought it in August this year.
I can send you the measures or a drawing in .ai, .ps or .pdf.
They’re easy to create them by yourself.
You can send me an email. Roger@themidimaniac.com

@@theMIDImaniac man I been thinking about it. It's 2018 I'd like to find a method to show my screen as I go through the steps. I've been trying to get ppl on this machine for years. Idk why everyone like the mpc more when the machine kills the mpc by 5*!!! I lost my 8800 if I find me another one in good shape my man I damn sure will be on here helping you guys out... I love my mv, I also use a vs24 for recording. I'm a straight Roland guy. If you find a dr5, midi that to the mv8k man you're gonna love it even more

Gutta Boy great to read that you’re such a MV-fanatic.
I don’t have any experience with MPC. Like you, I’m a Roland fan.
      Somehow this unit called me😉
I can’t wait to spend more time with it.
      Hope you’ll find that 88!

@@theMIDImaniac yeah man alot of people don't realize the sounds they love are Roland stock sounds so 😁... I grabbed the fantom, mv, and vs devices, and was ready to roll. The mpc was the talk of the Town just like today everybody has an MPC. It's a cool machine but the mv does everything and more!!! One thing that's extremely dope is the floppy and CD drive,, you can load endless sounds from. If you have a Roland fantom with a floppy 3.5 you could take your beats from each device and finish it on another Roland with ease. I'll tell you this, if you find a boss dr5, you found a gem!!! But yeah my man enjoy that baby, I find new stuff to do on it even after I thought I knew all I could. For the price you pay for the mpc x you could buy 3/4 mvs right now, people are giving these machines away. I work alot so I don't really have time to play with it like I want but hmu anytime if you need help. Also there's a DVD manual available that helps if you find yourself in a jammy.

@@theMIDImaniac hopefully around the holidays I'll start doing vids on my Roland devices and how dope they are!! The vs2400 and mv8k are very slept on devices, as old as they are at the time of release they're years ahead of competition! You probably won't catch anything on CZcams about the vs2400..so I can't wait to show you guys. I know once people see what these things can do and how easy it is truly, folks will start buying them.
