You can also just do splt note...when I sold them it was a ggreat selling feature

it's crazy they stopped making this it really was a head of its time, i never used 1 of these, considered buying it at 1 time but never did, but i watch this video and i see a lot of what the akai software is in it, of course the new stuff is this on steroids but u can see a lot of the basic stuff and then some in here
Most definitely ahead of it’s time
A lot of the Hip Hop people couldn't use it. Didn't understand it etc. They thought the timing was off but it was actually they were too used to Akai sorting out their mistakes.

I just got my 8000 blew it out and Skinned it up!
I create different templates and save them to speed up the process in the long run.
Just picked up an mv-8000 & so far I’ve learned how to sample & chop. I understand that everything is in the manual but im not understanding the sequencing part.
I have my samples which i converted to an audio phrase. So I have the samples on the pads, P1 kick, P2 snare & P3 hh.
I’m recording my performance and I see the notes on the sequencer but nothing is playing back?
What am i doing wrong or what step did I miss?
Track parameter window? Assign output?

You're gonna need to put your drum sounds and any samples that you want to sequence as patches instead of on and audio track which is where your sounds are place when you select audiophrase instead of patch right after you sample them. Hope that helps
