"insistence" is a bit strong. There is no rule that says you have to use English correctly or have manners, but people are always judged by the choices they make. If your name's Maya and I repeatedly call you Matthew after being corrected 6 times, you assume I'm either mentally challenged or doing it maliciously, the latter of which means you won't respect or want anything to do with me. It's not hard.

It isn't possible to be born in the wrong body. Not a thing. One time my Dad ordered a new truck and it showed up with the wrong interior color. There was a mix up at the factory. That is a thing. There is no people factory in the sky. Not a thing. People are the unique combination of genetic material, that came together at conception. There are no mixups, just variation.
