How is this even a voting type of situation? Everyone and their mom wants a dino crisis remake...everyone has mentioned that in last 10-15years. Capcom...yall are messed up in the head. You got millions of people wanting you to REMAKE a game you already made...that sold reasonably well. So what capcom...you don't like money? Exactly.....like wtf so many people have requested this and would love to re-experience the games with modern visuals, audio, enhanced storytelling and even richer characterization where characters can be fleshed out more. It blows Dino Crisis continues to get the cold shoulder cause I've wanted it for ages lol, just think about all the ways they could enhance the experience and build on it with modern technology and techniques today.

You had me at Dino Crisis. I went over there and asked them to please consider giving Dino Crisis 1 & 2 (and the original concept of 3, before that got changed because of 9/11) the Resident Evil Remake treatment.
Would love a new Darkstalkers in the SF6 style graphics. Also suggested they add Lady Dimitrescu as a guest fighter 😂

I want the RE Engine to get more use this generation because it's a really solid engine that runs smoothly on most hardware. Every time I consider Dino Crisis for a sequel I remember the monkey's paw of 3make though. We will see.
Just my opinion, but R3make's only bad thing is its shortness. Otherwise I think that it's a dope game.
@ChloefileFIN I think re3 is a honest to God terrible Remake. But a fantastic game on its own. The dialogue, characters, gameplay, graphics, most of the level design, really solid. But when compared to the old game, it makes me so sad how much of the city they removed...clock tower...the rundown facility. The replay value with the choices. Multiple endings...
@@diaperparalysis6850I wouldn't say "terrible", but I agree with your points otherwise. The unlockable difficulties are a nice touch, since Nightmare/Inferno remixes enemy and item placements and provides a genuine challenge. I do have to say that RE3R's hospital is a straight upgrade over the OG. If they had made a second city hub in the subway system for more of that "Raccoon City exploration" feel and included the clock tower, I think the game would have been received much better.
@emultra759 like I said, I genuinely think it's a great game! Just as far as Remakes go I mean it was the game that invented 'the Mercenaries' and it didn't even have it lol. It missed so many beats sadly. I love the idea of the secondary hub. I didn't mind the twist with Carlos being the one to go to rpd but what was cool about the original is the RPD is right there in the rest of the map. I liked playing as Jill since it was like -her- area and she was stars. Idk. I feel like they remixed too much to the point where it felt like they were forcing changes for the sake of it vs doing it for the better of the game/story itself. Absolutely love the difficulty changes like you said tho. I also was really happy they kept the easy difficulty where you got the assualt rifle. Very nice detail. The dodge mechanic was also so cool. Also my favorite iteration of Jill. Sorry for the long comment, I love talking Resident evil lol
I would love to see a Resident Evil Classics Collection release of the 90s RE games on modern hardware. With all of the remakes coming out, it would be a great way for people today to experience where those remakes came from
Exactly this! Except I’d LOVE it if they gave it the Crash Bandicoot collection treatment. Keep the games exactly the same but update the graphics on it. The Crash Bandicoot collection was amazing.

Yup, a remastered collection of the original 3 Resident Evil games would be amazing. The same treatment the Crash Bandicoot collection received several years ago. Same exact games, just completely improved graphics.

Resident Evil Outbreak is now a choice for some questions (1, 7, 8 are confirmed to have it). I like that they are now starting to notice Outbreak.
They probably made sure to include all of their games for the ones where you can type in a name. Haunting ground was available but it didn't even have an icon (although its characters did)

They always notice Outbreak, they even include Outbreak Hunter gamma for RE3R gamma skin in Re:verse

I'd love a in-house remake for Dead Rising 1. I feel like they could do so much now compared to 06' and maybe we'll get more games in the same dark tone as one. It ain't likely but a guy could dream.
Same most of my answers for the vote was dead rising I grew up watching my big brother play it back in 2006 I was only 10 years old at the time and fell in love with the franchise

Thanks for the heads up on this! I made it clear I want the classic REs (1, 2, and 3) remastered, only remakes of Code Veronica and Dino Crisis (not reimaginings) and to properly remake RE3 or at least DLC to fix it.

I'd rather have another Sengoku Basara game over Dead Rising, and I really liked the Dead Rising series. Though before all of that, RE: Outbreak remasters.

Haven't touched 3. Dr4 was a disgrace, but Capcom Vancouver is no more so I figured a new direction is the only way forward. I have hope that they recognize the blunders of 4 and 3. Perhaps they could go back to the roots of DR1 like they claimed they were doing during the development of DR4. Your opinion is valid too though, back when 2 released I didn't pick it up due to the absurdity of combo-weapons and the campaign mode's lack of an earnest B-movie style storyline. I warmed up to 2, and now really enjoy 2 /OTR, but I do see DR1 as the series high point. Anything I can do to get more of something simliar is important to me.
Used Copy of legendary wings for the NES in the early 90s. Got it at a pawn shop beside a health food store in Westlock Alberta on a tip back to lesser slave lake.

Honestly, I'd like to see the re4 remake team work on remaking the first Dino Crisis. I didn't get very far in the original but I can tell it'd be great.

I poured my heart out on the last question, retelling the story of how I first experienced Dino Crisis and for how many years I had to come back to it as a kid until I finally beat it. Had 397 words and then noticed it says maximum 400 CHARACTERS when trying to send the final results, lol!

I "represented" outbreak by picking it as the game that influenced me the most, as well as haunting ground by picking Hewie as my favorite character, so that I could focus the last bit on better support for legacy titles (both having older games made available and also not have the existing ones in a broken state (mainly RE5)).

thanks for the heads up Kai, I submitted mine and at the end, my message to Capcom was to communicate future releases more through offical channels or working with content creators (like yourself but I didn't list anyone) so we the fans can drump up the hype and make these gambles on restoring older IP's do better and make them not have to resort to the "Capcom Test" of Sink or Swim releasing

A sequel that completely erases the fourth game from canon and reverts back to its usual routine is something I’d love to see again after DR2.

That section is for new games (not necessarily remakes but I guess it could be), and it was referring to the resident evil franchise as a whole and not just the first game (it says "series" at the top)

@@unsavourylittlerunt same here. Cos honestly it very much came down to 'it depends' for me. As I'm still not really sold on FPS resident evil, feels a little too actiony to me. Not as much as the coop tps games. But still, not quite my cup of tea for horror games.
Though would be nice to see how many people picked original re2 as their favourite.
They should have a re-remake of RE3 on there. Still find it hard to forgive Cap for drooping that ball.
