#Terminator #DarkFate - Zábava
Can't believe they paid Arnold that much money when they already had a well documented verbal agreement where he said he'd be back.
Underrated comment.
Christian Nielsen One of the best.
He demanded the 30 million because he can when someone wants something the seller can demand what ever they want especially if they are desperate and what your selling is very rare they will pay any price.
Ha
@@chriss4365 Read what he commented again so you actually get the joke through your thick skull
T3 is the weird example of a movie that got BETTER because of the worse sequels.
Kinda like the prequels I like last Jedi through.
It is still garbage. It makes ZERO SENSE. Judgement Day being inevitable is bullshit and spits on the legacy of the first 2 films that the future CAN change.
Then it has the gull to say SKYNET is software on the internet. Did the screenwriters even know how the internet works? The military internet and civilian internet ARE NOT CONNECTED FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. Plus the fact that the movie blatantly suggests that SKYNET is using the worlds computers as a collective mind, makes ZERO sense because once it starts the war, most of those computers will be destroyed through the bombs, no electricity and EMP,so SKYNET weakens itself before the war starts. Way to go stupid machine.
The movie sucks, end of discussion.
Just like the Star Wars prequels
Nah, it's no better than it ever was. Cause it was preceded by actual decent Terminator films.
@@Skydrag.V60 How two people in this thread think the prequels are getting better is beyond me.
The scary thing for me is I remember thinking Arnie looked really old in this but now looking at it he looks as fresh as a daisy.
Just thought the exact same thing....
Bilko Prince same
he did look old when it came out however he looks so much younger than now. the odd thing is he looked great in t2 and he was 44
I though he look the same in the beginning
I was thinking the same thing today, at the time he seemed to aged so much since T2 but now he looks young and pretty much the same.
My problem with T-X is that when she takes the form of a person, she acts almost fake and absent of any emotion.
Robert Patrick was really believable when he pretended to be a cop. She acts so devoid of any character. Wheras Patrick showed how devious the T2 could be.
Terminator 2 is untouchable. No other terminator movie can touch it.
@@SolidPain6624 The original is still the best!
I always laugh about the fact that she Kills Kate's boyfriend and take his form to get closer and kill her, but then when they meet at the cemetery, SHE LITERALLY TURNS BACK TO THE TERMINATOR FORM RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. And like, a very long distance away lmao.
That’s probably because Kristanna Loken was trying to do a Robert Patrick impression. Oh and also she’s a terrible actress.
I love when Robert Patrick asked for a picture of young boy John Conner and tells his parents, "Hey, that's a good looking boy! Mind if I keep this?"
“Anger is more useful than despair.”
I still love that quote and try to get angry instead of sad 😂
Good quote!
and i still quote it to people who are sad. it's not always working.
Both are taxing physiologically. I'd rather not be in either state.
@@damienholland9244 True, but unfortunately sometimes it's just unavoidable.
Anger is the path to the dark side
For those who like the Arnold commentary on T3, check out his commentary on Total Recall. Arnold commentaries always deliver.
Or his commentary for Conan the Barbarian!
So those comedians saying how Schwarzenegger just describes everything going on in the scene is actually real?
@@HaIsKuL Oh yeah. Or he talks about how hot the actress is in the film. Basically, it's like Arnie is sitting in your house while watching the film and he is just talking about things he remembers or likes about what is on screen. My favourite is the Conan commentary...
Almost all audio commentaries by actors suck, because they have nothing profound to say and don't know anything about the production except their own part (if they even remember that). To this suckfest Arnie adds an Austrian accent.
@@danedwards1935 sounds super comfy. like hanging out with arnie and watching his movies ^^
Arnold didn't want to do Terminator 3? You mean.. he didn't WANT to be back?
@James Haslam Thanks for taking the time to show me you were affected regardless.

I wish he didn’t come back for T3...atrocious
Producer: you said, and I quote, "I'll be back", Arnold
Arnold: I know, I know, but... I... *(arnold noise)* ... fine
I like this movie because it reminds me of 2003. Those were good times. Was a hell of a lot better then the current 2024 were living through now😏
Terminator: Classic slasher flick
Terminator 2: Amazing action film
Terminator 3: Great parody movie
T4 and 5: Boring, generic, sci-fi additions that muddy the lore
I hope T6 is like 2. I just hope.
T5 is pretty good with judicious editing.
@wayne goodger woah seriously?? Thats so messed up man😂 then again I'm like would it have even been good? Sam Worthington is a bit of a charisma vacuum (except in Man on a Ledge and some parts pf Avatar)
@wayne goodger holy cow, that makes total sense now! Like when I first saw Genysis I was like, "Wow they've completely run out of ideas and made JC a terminator." But looking at it from the perspective of a man that was already part machine/part human taking on the JC mantle to keep the "prophesy alive" is waaay more interesting😄
From what I've seen, I think T6 will be more like the TV series.
I actually like this one. 2 is obviously better but it’s got some good stuff
The Terminator: 9.4/10
Judgment Day: 9.7/10
Rise Of The Machines: 6/10
Salvation: 5.9/10
Genesis: 5/10
I actually loved T3. I think it is fair to say that it is guilty of doing the same thing again, it wasn't terribly original. But it was still a lot of fun. And if being different gives you Salvation or Genisys, I'll take the T3 approach.
ressljs
Well yeah but it went from being top notch Sci-Fi to your typical summer flick
T2- 9.5
T1- 9.0
TS- 8.5
TG- 8.0
T3- 8.0
I don't think salvation is that bad. At least compared to genesis
I like T3, it's the only watchable T2 sequel so far.
It may look dated now but that truck flip blew me away when I saw it in the theatre at the time.
Personally I really enjoyed Salvation and Genisys. I would have been ok if either had recieved the sequels they had planned.
But the T3 Truck flip... Aw yeah, that's still sexy!
Arnold getting into the command center near the end. That's a bit ridicules. They.were performing critical military operations turning on Skynet, and he gets to just walk in? He could have the president with hi m and I still would not believe it.
Genisys is the worst terminator movie bad actors except arnie the story doesn't make any sense a movie that nobdody ask for.
Disagree Salvation is a better film.. But none of them have been good.
Just shows how important practical effects should be! The CGI effects in T3 look like shit, while that car chase is pretty impressive.

Fun Fact :The sergeant William Candy scene was voiced by Samuel l Jackson and not Arnold Schwarzenegger
@Cataclysmic Dildoser Alright I vote Samual Jackson as the Terminator in the 4th Terminator 3 reboot.
Yeah and the guy who says "We can fix it" is Arnold's voice
HI I’m Sergeant William John Candy 😂😂😂
Sorry don’t know where John come from
I feel like the T-X is only remembered as “the Female Terminator”. If not the T-X would be completely forgotten

So was Summer Glau's terminator. Man, the Sarah Connor Chronicles deserved so much more man.
The T-X is the only thing I remember about the movie.

Hahaha 3:48 Of COURSE General Grievous is Arnold Schwarzenegger's Hairdresser, Make-Up Person, Physician, Stand-In, Stunt Double AND Cook! 🤣
The Terminator franchise really peaked with Terminator 2: Judgement Day. I'm really not looking forward to Dark Fate.
Neither am I, the trailer looked very bad in my opinion.
Same
I’m not feeling it either but maybe, just maybe it’ll be good since it picked up after t-2. And the original director is directing so let’s hope it’s good
@@jweezyyy actually James Cameron is producing and Tim Miller the director of Dead Pool is directing. Arnold is back. Linda Hamilton is back. Edward Furlong is in it. We will see how it turns out. Hopefully good not gonna hold my breath though
Wow, what a hot take
5:30 Omg the part about the guns had me in tears. "I'm taking all these gun and you can't stop me because i'm gone proof and you're not." and the guy was like "fair enough" as he's being blown away. LMFAOOOO
I will forever defend the Sgt. William Candy scene... yes it's dumb and yes, it doesn't fit with the film's tone but as an extra little bit, I think it's a wonderful addition to "Terminator lore".
It also reminds us that the franchise *can* do overt comedy. Not with Candy himself, but that one line of Arnie's dubbed-in dialogue of "we can fix it". There's a little bit of cleverness built into the board being annoyed by the guy's voice and literally replacing it with that of their own guy who just happened to sound better.
I agree it works well as an extra. It's also weirdly logical to add in, because it truly makes no sense that Terminators were programmed with thick Austrian accents. We didn't *need* an explanation for it, but it kinda works to have one.
That Chief Master Sergeant William Candy scene is pretty funny. It looks like something from Starship Troopers.
Glad they released it at least as a bonus scene.
Terminator 3 was enjoyable. But, the ending was fantastic!
grennbalze Remember watching it in the theater; ending really threw me for a loop at the time but looking back it was a ballsy move.
Definitely
Agreed, ending was very dystopian 1970's sci-fi, no happy ending for you today!
"It's 2019, you can do ANYTHING!"
It's now 2020; being able to do anything seems like little more than a distant memory.
I do like that this film lead directly into "Terminator: Salvation," the movie with Christian Bale as John Connor (and most importantly, Michael Ironside as the predecessor to John Connor leading the war against the machines. Michael Ironside is always a win).
Salvation, in fact, makes multiple "in-universe" references to "Rise of the Machines," including changing the starting year of the machine war from 1997 to 2003, as a result of the new timeline split. I also thought the "villain character" of the film was a great villain, because he was not "Black and White Evil! The End! No discussion or diversion will be tolerated!" Sam Worthington plays a "human" character, who wakes up in the future, has to find out everything that's going on, and even has a few "Mad Max" style moments in the action department. But then the Plot Twist where he finds out he's actually a "machine decoy!" A machine that doesn't realize it's a machine, and has no idea of its' mission, until it is too late to stop it from finding John Connor and killing him.
I LOVED that so much!! Because I was tired of the same old "Terminator tries to kill John/Sarah Connor decades before the war" crap that Hollywood kept throwing out there in the prequels over and over and over again. This time, it was a machine, that didn't know what its' mission was, that had no realization it wasn't human until it was shown the truth by Connor himself! And has pretty much the same "OMG!" reaction that the audience is supposed to have. That's a COMPLEX VILLAIN!!! Not evil, but definitely placed in the story for evil purposes beyond its' reckoning!
I agree, one of the main issues with Genysis and Dark Fate is that they start the alternate timeline bullcrap. At least T3 and Salvation continue the time line, and I’d argue add to the storyline.
The salvation twist would've been good but for some reason they decided to put the reveal in the trailers which wasted that whole plot point.
That psychologist guy is like the C3PO of the Terminator franchise. He's seen it all and somehow survived all this crazy stuff when he probably shouldn't have.
I don’t care what anyone says, this film is a blast
It is by far the most 2003 film I’ve ever seen. But honestly it seems even better after Genisys, let alone Salvation. Arnold and JK Simmons were literally the only good parts of Genisys.
Most under rated Terminator flick, ballsy ending.
I think it's a better ending to the franchise, humans should have to deal with their mistakes, not try to undo them.
I think the ending almost gets better overtime too as they make more and more movies it does actually start to really feel like Judgement Day surely is inevitable. Like the amount they've now dicked with the timeline and STILL haven't been able to stop it
@@KidaMilo89 tell yourself that if you’re ever set on fire to die by a nuclear blast for no reason
“Humanity should deal with their mistakes” as your last thoughts lol
Terminator just needs to stop. By this point, there's been more bad than good movies.
I would have totally agreed after Genysis, but they intrigued me with Tim Miller at the helm. Trailers aren't backing up that intrigue, but I'm trying really hard to be optimistic.
Fuzzy Barbarian
The first two are the undisputed classics, but the rest can be seen as interesting elseworlds versions.

@@vladimiradidas1945 Thanks Vladimir! Not to brag, but I've actually been referred to as a genius in the past.
It's exactly the same as with Alien, Predator and Indiana Jones. I feel like some sort of law should be passed to stop people cashing in on great old movies with shitty sequels. (Remakes are better because you can just ignore them, e.g. Robocop, Total Recall, Conan. They don't actually ruin the legacy.)
This movie is not even that bad, Terminator Genesys is the worst so far.
Controversial opinion, but I don't think Salvation is that bad, if you forget it is a Terminator sequel it can work fine as a post apocalyptical sci-fi.
You mean, Terminator Daenerys?
@endmy suffering Salvation is great compared to Genishit.
I only lasted about 10 minutes into Salvation. It was just obnoxiously bad,

Yo I just want to give a huge shoutout to the person that knew to get a Crown Firecoach fire truck for scenes in LA. Chef’s kiss for attention to detail
You killed me at the "These are the fun in the sun models!" *LMAO*
I really love the concept and ideas behind T3. I liked watching how Skynet took over. I also think Kristanna Loken was phenomenal with what she was given by the writers. She was very machine-like and emotionless, yet could be emotional when the situation called for it via the script. Going by the film comic and the video game "The Redemption", the T-X was supposed to be extremely overpowered, amazingly efficient at combat and infiltration, and downright scary, especially with the ability to control any kind of machine (including phone lines and electronic signals). I think the film watered her down so that Arnie had a chance to shine and so she wasn't able to make an impact like Robert Patrick's T-1000 did. Another complaint is that Sarah Connor died off screen. There was a feeling of emptiness without her on set. As for the writing of the film, that's what let it down. So much potential. It felt rushed. I really enjoyed the "T3: The Redemption" video game story line over the film version because I could tell the game makers were not worried with rushing it and included vital parts that probably would have helped the theatrical release. Plus it was far darker, whereas the film liked to crack jokes and make light of situations (like a Marvel movie). T3 had a lot of potential, and it definitely had atmosphere. Again, the T-X was a very interesting concept that made sense and was played brilliantly by Loken, and Arnie was equally great. It was just all so darn rushed. Anyway, I really recommend checking out the film comic and also watching the video game story line on CZcams. I think they did it way better than the film. They felt more... Terminatorish?
Terminator 3 is underrated but it’s not that bad imo.
I think you meant "Terminator 3 is underrated but it's not that _good"._
You again.
Sarah Connor Chronicles is amazing. Far better than T3, T4, or T5.
I loved that show! Plus the idea of Derrick Reese, Kyle's older brother, was an emotional and badass touch!
It was a great show. Works much better as a binge than a weekly watch, which I guess is why it didn't do well originally.
Ryan Gill Sarah Connor Chronicles sucks. Without Arnold, no Terminator.
@@JELopezCastillo - T:SCC is actually pretty damn good! It makes way more sense than Terminator Genisys that's for sure!!! Arnold does not need to be in a Terminator project for it to be Terminator! There were other models of the T-800 and other Terminators completely!
No it wasn't. Didn't last 5 mins did it? I tried to watch
Terminator: Dark Fate would have been better if Master Sergeant William Candy, and Sarah and John Conner, had teamed up to fight the terminators.
I'm in the minority and will say that I actually really liked T3. Arnold is funny af. The TX was deadly and hot. Arnold saved this entire movie for me and the ending was actually really good.
Nahh same
I looked under the sun visor in this car....

If I recall, there was a deleted scene where it was revealed that Cyberdyne actually had off-site backups of the data on the Terminator from Terminator 1 so when they got trashed they just sold the information to the Government when they went backrupt.
That's explain my question in this movie, ty
what data?
it's expressly told that the original chip is so mangled all Cyberdyne had is it's architecture! And if they'd have the DATA from an actual Terminator than they would probably know about Skynet and Judgement Day and would abort the entire thing not to cause the apocalypse!
god this movie was so shit
@@DashingSteel Not the data on the chip itself but their actual research and such if I remember on it.
T3: Arnold’s mega payday
I wonder if Arnold had a contract with the state of California that allowed him to both be governor without doing anything helpful, and gets to still be beloved even after cheating on his wife while in office by fucking a maid
Pretty good contract
ONLY SEEN HIM IN STEEL?!?! Excuse you what about Kazaam
Sorry, you're mistake. That's was Shazam and it was called Shazam.
T-3 was definitely underrated - it had some really good parts. The only thing missing was Sarah Conner
I really enjoyed T3 when it came out because it was the only Terminator that finally seemed to understand: "You know what? This whole thing is quite silly."
T3 is underrated for sure. It's far superior to everything that came after it, but inferior to those before it. People claim it erased T2's message about "no fate but what we make", and yet, if John, Claire, and the Terminator had reached Claire's father a little earlier, they could've stopped SkyNet and changed the future.
One thing I like about this movie in retrospect is when the terminator is talking about how it can’t stop the TX while at the same time he’s taking out the explosive in its chest which is the thing that stops it
Geniuses makes T3 look like a masterpiece
5:53 they forgot the automatic breast enlargements

I don’t know if I’ve ever related with a piece of art so much in my entire life.
Wait. Why does John Connor think that Arnold will remember him when he watched him die 'T2'? @3:00
That scene always drove me up the wall!!
How can John be so stupid to think that the Terminator sitting across from him is the same one from T2 even though he WATCHED him sacrifice himself!!!
It especially didn't make sense given just 15 minutes earlier John asked the T3 Terminator if he was going to kill him, indicating that he was aware that he was a different Terminator.
For the time the special effects were top notch
Another Terminator 3 _hold up_ ...I’ll be back
The car chase scene is underrated in this film for sure
I just watched this film for the first time in 15 years and I gotta say that maybe we’ve been too harsh on this film, I enjoyed it so much, It’s a very fun and well paced film with some genuinely funny comedic bits in it too, The chick who played the TX did a good job too and was menacing IMO. Maybe it’s just a case of seeming good because of how bad a lot of films are now but who knows?
Terminator 3 basically reworks the first movie but I loved moments like when he went to the tomb of Sarah Connor and finds her casket full of weapons and he walks out of the tomb with a coffin on his shoulder and guns people down. Also the scene where Arnie is smashed through buildings on a fire truck - a scene that he paid for himself.
7:07 In fairness Steel is the best movie starring Shaq😂😂
4:22 the absolute best and my personal favorite John Connor
I never heard of the theory about Claire Danes in T2, as I already knew that role was played by Nikki Cox (from The Glimmer Man).
Because the bar was raised so high on T2, it would be too hard for a sequel to live up to the same standard, hence the Lite take on it. I think it was representative of the 2000s where everything was a bit more free and easy, experimental and certainly not as uptight as the 90s or sterile and dour as the 2010s. I enjoyed T3, because I loved the 2000s...a truly golden era!
I thought Nick did fine as John.
Christian Bale was the best imo. Salvation is pretty underrated.
Salvation is nowhere near as good as the first 2 movies but it's a hell of a lot better than genesis.
Honestly do really like this movie. Better than whatever tf they’re trying now. This movie feels like something made by someone, it’s filled with memorable quotes that really hit hard like, “Desire is irrelevant. I am a machine.” and the ending with, “Can you help us, John?”
It’s far from perfect but at least it feels like there’s a point to it. You will struggle, you will fail. Sometimes it’ll happen even when you did everything right, but still you must endure… because there is no alternative. The new stuff is just voiceless, compared to that.
The real Terminator 3 is the friends we made along the way.
The chase scene in Rise of the Machines was one of the greatest action scenes ever.
nope, but its great that you liked it
“You know how you thought there was ‘No Fate’? Turns out there’s so much fate. It’s all coming at once, and it’s today.”
Should have been the movie’s tagline.
T3 actually looks like a good film compared to what came afterwards, plus it has an awesome ending.
Obviously it’s not a patch in T2, but what is?
T1
I think the real Terminator 3 is the friends we made along the way.
My intro to production design teacher in college is the production designer for the Terminator 3D Ride that used to be at Universal Studios! He never really talked about it because I'm sure they already had a vision for what things looked like for the sets, he just had to put it all together for them. But interesting thing is he brought in some art directors and production designers for lots of Hollywood movies; I learned from the Art Director of Kong: Skull Island that the design of Kong was inspired by Johnny Cash's tall, broad figure--cant find that online bc no one else knows it!
Can’t believe I’m about to say this but

Cromartie!
I just recently rewatched all of the Terminator movies to update my ranking, and T3 has aged well and is way better than I remembered, and interestingly I ended up ranking them from best to worst in the exact order that they were released, so I ranked T3 3rd.
In my opinion, T3 is a great sequel, and - while acknowledging that T1 and T2 are flawless films - my favorite of the series. Arnold is still perfect as the Terminator, the action scenes are top notch, and the ending is still one of my favorites of any movie ever, but what I like the most about it is the story: A major theme of the series is 'there is no fate but what we make for ourselves,' but don't forget that Uncle Bob said that it's in our nature to destroy ourselves. With our desire to have better weapons and defensive capabilities, it's logical that something resembling Skynet would come along again, making the series a cautionary tale about our destructive nature, and how a human/AI conflict is pretty much inevitable. Pretty heavy stuff when you think about it.
Terminator 3 was the real judgement day
A lot of good moments in this film. The ending was brilliant.
I always love it when there's a surprise, "Remember That Bit When...?" or , for the Weekly Planet, "Hate Mail but the Hate Has An Eight In It."
I always scream for joy in my car or, at work, I quietly punch the air, "yes."
I'm always here rewatching your videos when waiting for a new one
I enjoyed T3: Rise Of The Machines myself. A good fun sci-fi film
3 and salvation were the last good terminator movies no debate
Christ, the throwing thing. I'm glad it's not just me that's noticed how the killer constantly blows the opportunity to finish the job (see also Terminator Salvation). If you're close enough to pick someone up, you're also close enough to punch a hole in them and complete your mission. So why would you not? Plot armour.
Or because the Terminators did that in the first two at times with people.
With Salvation it was an EARLY PROTOTYPE that acted like an animal predator.
I wish they would've kept in the scene showing the T-800 was modeled after a real man that looked like Arnold. The bit reminds me of another Schwarzenegger film, "The Running Man." In that film, Jesse Ventura plays a character named, "Captain Freedom." He hosts an aerobics fitness show, and it reminds me very much of the cut scene from "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines."
Also, everyone should watch "The Running Man" -- at least once. If not for Arnold, then for the late, *great,* Richard Dawson.

T3 is a great tbh. Its so entertaining, and its just a fun guilty pleasure-like film. T4 was pretty good as well tbh. Genysis is a whole another lvl of shit tho, and Dark Fate looks like shit too so...
Super well edited right on Ben!
Ok so they made a joke about Arnold demanding that Danny devito be his stand in, but why would this be an issue or an otherwise unbelievable/comical situation? Let you forget, they played the titular twins in the film, Twins, so obviously they look quite alike; otherwise how would they have been able to play twins otherwise?
Me watching T2: This is fantastic, can't wait for the sequel.
Me watching T3: How could this happen? This is awful. No Terminator movie will be worse than this.
Me watching Salvation, Genesys and Dark Fate: I guess T3 wasn't so bad after all.

i love the sarah connor chronicles. Sure the CG is crap, but i genuinely loved that show.
@MR FREEZE-98 i probably worded it badly, what i meant was its budget let it down in terms of vfx, even for the time the CG wasn't good. But still it wasn't the worst CG VFX on tv. Just not close to the best.

The T-850 wore sunglasses because he was originally programmed by Skynet to resemble the T-800 that befriended John in T2. That programming was reinforced by Kate in order to get John on board early.
The T-800 in T2 wore sunglasses specifically for eye protection, as he was in the process of stealing a motorcycle, the biker bar being nearest to his arrival point.
