  • The Trition JOF Router is the little sibling of the TRA001 router. As my TRA001 sits in my Router table, it is nice to have an additional router that can take a 1/2" router cutter. So I bought the JOF001 on Amazon.

Many tool manufacturers use the same cable for both the US and Europe, I guess for inventory reasons. This means that it is unnecessarily thick in the copper dept. (US 110v, so twice the current)They tend to be short for cost reasons. A specific Europe cable can be twice as long for the same amount of copper- good manufacturers do this... When I re-wire tools (so that I can add a socket at the tool end) I use 220v sized cables; much more flexible to use.

Dewalt or Bosch are the best routers. Triton is shit.

How are the Tritons lagging behind?

Yes why are they bad? In my book they are by far the best. I've tried Bosch, Trend, DeWalt and none in my book are a patch on the Triton ones. Only thing I'd like an imprivemt on is the plunge throw (Depth), it a bit sort on occasions.
