So I used to run a veggie oil a little bit had too many problems with the glycerin not fully being removed I switched to black diesel I used an old cream separator to separate the carbon and contaminants I pre-filter down to 50 microns with a bag filter and then run it through the centrifuge I never wanted to screw around with a preheater so I run my oil 10% gas 90% oil have ran it through all of my Cummins and have no problem with it
Awesome, I would probably have run wmo if it wasn't for a friend of mine giving me 600 gallons of veg oil. I have the system dailed in with no issues, so happy with that.:)
Thanks for the sub.:) When I ran diesel it got 11-13 towing, 15-16 city and 18-20 hwy. I've been running veg oil now for 40,000 miles and haven't really checked what the mileage is on veg. Similar if not 5-10% less fuel economy, but it's free, so I've never checked.:)
@@detroitgarage9430 I'm a CNG guy, so I was disappointed to learn the LP disappointed you. LP seems to be trouble prone, I've had far better results with CNG , but the infrastructure seems to be withering. Great Videos. Thanks again
@@dheujsnrhfydhehehshshhdggsd In theory in should have worked well, but the Detroit wasn't happy. Without further testing I can't pinpoint the cause. It could have been the compound turbo's, coatings or something else. I've switched to water meth injection combined with burning veg oil and that works great.
No, it looks like one of the supply line clamps was loose to the primary filter (diesel line). When I went to tighten it, the clamp broke. I replaced the clamp with a new one and none of the issues have come back. Was getting air into the fuel system on the diesel side causing fuel starvation. It also might have caused the one injector to act up, but not sure. I'll post up another video in the coming days going over the problem and trouble shooting the diesel side.:) Runs perfect again with the 7A77's.:)

@@mr_canoehead Yes, this is a new video and yes the 9G90's have been removed and replaced with the 7A77's.:) I ran into fuel issues and one 9G90's picked up a miss. Jimmy has a gorgeous voice.
Too cold for my arthritic bones 👍
PS you can have that weather I'm down here in Prescott Arizona where it's maybe 20 degrees Fahrenheit lowest and yes I complain about it
Lol, I know where you're coming from, I lived in Asia for 20 years, so still trying to get used to these cold winters.:)
The last time I was in Prescott AZ it was 8 below and O/H a.6V92 in MCI outside lots of fun
@@joemaser9122 that must have been a record because I don't think it's ever been that low since I've been here
Same here in Florida
Yea spoiled here in SoCal…I guess the extra money and fees we pay for everything keeps the ambient temperature thermostat turned up…
thing runs like a Swiss watch...
Was very happy with that trip, basically can run anywhere in Canada and the US in winter on veg oil.:)

So, I saw on the last video that you converted back to the old injectors. Could it be that the fuel line too small?
