@@christophertolbert4275 Theres different levels of nobodies imo: gatekeepers, journeymen, cans and cans who should be cut from the ufc. Brundage is at the very bottom of the list and shouldve been cut multiple fights ago. Before the burns fight, khamzat at least fought the Leech (legit ranked guy), GM3 (eternal gatekeeper) and crushed a couple of cans before that. Bo going Brundage to strickland would be like Khamzat going from Rhys McKee str8 to Gilbert Burns.
There are some things only experience at a high level in the same field can teach... Chimaev is in the thick of things getting schooled on it and managing to win (not as dominant as we would've expected but still winning). So if they fight at this moment, my money's on Chimaev. His next match w/ the Reaper imo will be a good gauge for his skill.

Chimaev beat a guy that had been ranked number one pound for pound, for a long time, his last time out. Bo is a decorated college wrestler. This is silly. I wish they would fight already. I’m sick of hearing about how great bo is while watching him fight nobody’s. If he’s so great how about having him fight a contender. He’s not there yet? Then what is this shit?
I'm very happy for comments like these. The sooner we pressure the higher ups the sooner we get what we all want. Right now mgt is content with letting Bo make them a lot of 💰 on PPV

I think everybody was on the Khamzat train at first, but after his rough bout with "the vid," I don't think he is the same guy. Bo will wear Khamzat out and soundly beat him at this point.

Bo is one of the most unorthodox guys to wrestle in the US. He’s not shooting high crotches, 2 bounces, and finishing. He’s hitting whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and he’s setting traps the entire time, especially from over unders.
Bo will gas him and win by unanimous decision, if not TKO (ground and pound). I’d put a weeks pay on it.

Agree, but first round chimaev will have advantage. His sheer strength alone is a huge advantage. Bo doesn’t seem that strong. Brundage threw him around a few times . Bo is more skilled wrestler than chimaev but chimaev is extraordinarily strong . Might give Bo problems

Once he starts fighting on a more regular basis and those nerves from a long lay off are gone, it’s clipped for the entire division.
Chimaev has shown he can be competitive with fighters who are not complete tomato cans (relative to the ufc elite). Bo has not yet proved the same thing. So my money would be on Chimaev if I was forced to pick.
Bo Nickal is beating everybody he faces, I think he would only have problem with the brawnies like Costa, Vettori, Cannonier

It’s one of those fights that could show who really is the next great of the division, and who’s the real deal and who's more hype (they’re both great fighters regardless of who wins but I just mean in terms of casual opinion) I think bo has the tools to go far but khamzat is a big step up
Good fight. They’re similar in a lot of ways. And both are new and relatively untested. Although we’ve seen some holes in Khamzats game in recent fights, he’s still extremely dangerous and a good fighter.
Bo is so high level that he opt to fight only farmers once a year. Why fight ranked opponents when you can give some guy who started MMA two days ago a chance? He’s beyond Khamzat hands down.

Exactly, which is why he needs to be in the prelims, not some main card. If you’re going to fight farmers and super amateurs, no problem. We just don’t want to see them on the main card.

Neither Bo or Khazmat has fought a legit middleweight yet, that match should be made for 300.. but they’ll do it after Bobby Knuckles ends the hype
I got Bo taking it late rounds for a win, we've seen when khamazat can't just overwhelm and smother the opponent with superior grappling he doesn't have the motor to take his pace into the later rounds. Bo has already had sanctioned grappling matches against Gordon Ryan the best BJJ opponent of all time there's nothing Khamzat can throw at him he can't defend long enough to hear a bell and once we're in the 3rd round there's no hope for khamzat.

I'm pretty much at the beginning of The video, But i'm going to say That Bo probably wins, Not just because Bo is a much more decorated wrestler, But because the best striker we've seen Chimaev Fight, Was either burns, Or Usman, usman Having good hands, But neither of them being known as Strikers in A General sense,
People called B9 a can crusher, But Val woodburn Was actually a pretty decorated regional kickboxer, Before jumping to MMA, And Bo knocked him out making it look easy, That said we also know that Khamzat Doesn't have a remarkable gas tank, Which being at a deficit in both other areas, Leaves him not a lot of options,
Especially when you consider the fact that Bo is pretty long, And KC has T rex arms.

Based on the level of competition that each guy has faced so far, I'd lean towards Chimaev, but only because Bo is still a newbie in MMA.

So it's a weird one. We know almost nothing about Bo. We know the guy can wrestle...and has a few submissions. But I also feel Chimaev isn't fully known as a fighter either. We know he's fast paced, and can walk through fire and keep on swinging.
I would not in anyway place bets on this one. And if I did it would probably be based on either experience, or who I could determine was physically bigger.

Bo Nickal in just freestyle is incomparably more decorated than Khamzat and did it against incomparably better competition. He won the US nationals, US Open, U23 Worlds beating the returning champ Shamil Zubairov and Russian national champ Batyrbek Tsakulov. He beat 4 time Asia championships medalist Alisher Yergali. Qualified for US olympic trials, only losing to David Taylor who then won Olympic gold. He trains with and has gone up against Olympic/world champions, who always complimented his ability. It was argued he very well could’ve been Olympic champion was it not for David Taylor and probably still could be if he committed. People thinking 3 Swedish nationals is even remotely comparable is ludicrous.
Not even mentioning what he is actually known for which is 3 NCAA nationals and a silver, 3 time Big Ten’s and bronze, a Dan Hodge Trophy, 2 Schalles Awards, NCAA Championship MVP and Big Ten Athlete of the Year. He beat the likes of gabe dean, and Myles martin multiple times. He is considered one of the greatest and most dominant of all time. Which is already proven the most successful base for MMA.
But while Khamzat looked disappointing against an old, out of prime, no knees, short notice usman from a division below, on a 2 loss streak after a headkick KO late in his career. Usman who is a division 2 wrestler I might add. He still is more experienced against better competition in MMA for now.

Khamzet wouldn’t be able to out wrestle or grapple with Bo. I think they both have equal power in their hands and khamzet may be better with his hands. With that said, I believe Bo would win. I say this purely on what I have seen him do even with “cans.” Anyone who has watched Bo wrestle in college knows he will go out and bang and dominate. He made THE best guys look like “cans.” It’s not surprising that he can do this with pro mma fighters.

I haven't see Bo face high level competition. I've seen Chimaev go up against the top 15 in 2 divisions and not lose. I'd have to take Chimaev but it's a big unknown on if Bo belong in the top 5-10 like Chimaev does.

If bo decides to wrestle with anyone he will never lose just like khabib and his wrestling is even better than khabibs… the only way he ever loses is if he decides to stand and throw punches for an extended amount of time and gets ko’d which can happen to anyone… however I think he’s very dangerous on his feet as well plus his gas tank is insane…the guy is just too good and i don’t see hazmat lasting more than 3 rounds
