Arceus' theme isn't a banger, but it's the most intimidating one by far.
It's all just drums and weird noises and it sounds really powerful.
It's hard to feel intimidated when I'm jamming out hard to such a good track

I would've put the Swords of Justice at S cuz it seems like other legendaries are like, "ok so ur probably waiting for the beat to drop." Meanwhile there's is like: "the beat is dropping and you can't stop it."
Swords of Justice was my FAVORITE legendary theme from when i first got Pokemon White as a kid

Imo Swords of Justice theme is really good, but it falls just behind Ultra Necrozma, ORAS Deoxys, and Primal Groudon/Kyogre. Still probably the best Gen 5 theme though

"I like this song, but I don't think it's a good legendary theme." That's actually really facinating because I was thinking the exact opposite! I don't like listening to Arcues' theme, it's unpleasant and has no melody and barely any instruments besides terrifying drums and screeching trumpets. But I feel like it works _brilliantly_ as *God's theme.* You're battling _the_ creator, it's not supposed to be happy and fun, but pretty much the Pokémon equivalent of blasphemy. The theme encapsulates that really well to me!
Personally, the only thing that comes into mind when listening to that theme is the event. Pure, raw, unadulterated creation.

Nah but Verizion was a PAIN to catch in that forest in Pokemon White for me. So for me to go back and try over and over to catch it till i did was mostly worth it cuz of the music i got to listen to every time

Tapu Bulu's entry talks about how it grows crops just to steal their energy. I get that they defend the islands from ultra beasts, but when push comes to shove, the only one who isnt cruel intentionally is Tapu Fini
It’s as if he’s never walked through Tapu Village or done the ghost trial, let alone question why all the locations of the tapus’ shrines are all distanced from human settlement, or why Tapu Village was destroyed and why Po Town has walls.

I also just showed you koko's entry before, the tapus are just as cruel as they are helpful, end of story. I pointed out why they arent considered "good" even within alola. Besides, if you dont want to believe the dex, just look at the shrines some of them live in.

boppo Arceus came first though, and he IS the god of all the Pokémon. He created Pokémon in the first place. So that’s why he owns the theme, Ghetsis does have his godly beliefs in himself, but he isn’t a real god. He just thinks of himself that way.

Tbh, I feel like a few other themes like Giratina & the Swords of Justice might be better than Ultra Necrozma’s theme maybe cause they’re more musically complex, but all of them are amazing😄 And yeah, Glitch does an awesome job with the remix.

The whole thing with the swords of justice is the fact that they are literally the heros of Unova. Granted, the song is technically just a legend theme of Unova legendaries in general but I'm disappointed that he said it doesn't fit the literal heros of Unova. But that's just my opinion ^ ^

Yeah, gonna go with 'no' on that one. The Tapus are guardians of the islands, not the people on it. I'd even go as far as saying the Alolan people worship them out of fear, the same way there were human sacrifices in early civilizations to appease the gods.
Their not so good nature apart, the dude's statement about it sounding "evil" doesn't make sense for shit. It just sounds like a tribal battle enticing theme, it's meant to pump you up, and it does it well. Apparently fits the hawaian vibe and perfectly fits the concept of the tapus

Its really shivering. It's as you said it. You feel like your up against something that is beyond your understanding, and far beyond fighting a legendary. Its chilling. There are also some remixes of Arecus's theme that are just otherworldly. They're fantastic
It really feels wrong. The silence in it feels so different and like it’s judging you for doing something unholy. Like the gods’ eyes are all on you. Just watching as your team gets killed by Arceus’ Judgement.
Something i Like is that in HGSS the Arceus Event also uses that theme and it fits LIKE A GLOVE. Its so creepy and really gives of "Almighty God" vibes

Gah while I largely agree up top he very clearly has a specific taste that affects everything below the top. The Tapu theme isn’t the best but it does actually fit them. Remember one of them destroyed an entire town cause it didn’t like that it was built where it was. They aren’t exclusively good they are just on your side in the story.
His taste is very niche and he clearly has a bias for orchestral style themes. The tapu theme has a really good start up and is meant to be a tribal song fit for a battle. Idk where he gets the evil vibe from but he's lost.

Honestly I was surprised how hard they went on Giratina’s theme. A definite, well-deserved *S* on my list any day.
Not exactly. He's more like Samael; basically the Devil, but he still works for God.
Samael condemns the sins of man, and punishes them in Hell.
Giratina pulls Cyrus into the distortion world, seemingly to punish him for trying to use Dialga and Palkia's powers to rewrite the universe.
Also Giratina's serpentine form resembles some depictions of the Gnostic Demiurge, which also bears the name "Samael."
Giratina’s theme transcends S tier and nobody can change my mind
But it’s literally just antimatter, not inherently evil, also I know it was banned because of its destructive nature but that’s what antimatter does

The Lone Pencil idk man Ho-Oh is pretty cool and unique, you hear Japanese instruments which are not used in other legendary themes

Verizion does deserve it, the only one that looks majestic and wise enough to test you, the music is like this is the ultimate test to see if you can pass me. She’s also the only one of them i like

Not every theme has to be fast paced, intense, or pick up to be a good final boss theme honestly. It depends on the tone of the game.

I think we can all agree that Ultra Necrozma’s theme is one of if not the best theme in Pokémon.
the track is AMAZING, it's actually insane. Before I even got Ultra Sun, I was listening to random pokemon soundtracks while I was studying, and this is the one track that IMMEDIATELY sticked to me the most. It's stuck in my head half of the time these days.

Some themes become better when you listen them while battling the legendaries. Watching Deoxys break from the meteorite and rush towards you while the them is playing is absolutely fantastic.
"The tapus are forces of good" clearly this man never saw the pokedex entries, where bulu creates plant life just so he can sap its energy in combat, or how tapu koko is fickle and only cares about fighting, or how lele will literally watch you die unless he's just in the mood to help you.

I loved how game freak made deoxys catchable in oras, since he's usually only accessable in events. This also makes him the only mythical pokemon that's accessable without the use of mystery gift or any other sort of event.

To be honest the sinnoh legandary theme makes a lot of sense for the moment. A lot of the legendaries were roamers in sinnoh and it keeps the suspense going because you never know when they're going to flee 7:57

Well if I'm correct, they led a Pokemon rebellion against humans killing lots of humans and protecting innocent Pokemon and they only approach you because they think you will be the key in making a world where both species can live in harmony

I think that the unovan dragons’ theme fits perfectly. they are intelligent, almost divine beings that are battling it out over beliefs. They shouldn’t have a threatening, booming theme. It should be more on the epic side.

If you listen closely to the groudod/kyogre theme from oras you can hear the original theme from ruby and sapphire and I’ve always thought that was just really cool

Zekrom n reshiram have different themes. Resh has fire noises in the back and zek has lighting noises
That’s the same theme with minor background differences, it’s like the difference between Rayquaza and Groudon/Kyogre
I think Reshiram's theme's official name is "Blazing White Yang" and Zekrom's is "Electrifying Black Yin". For Kyurem though idfk what its theme is called.

@@apollojustice5338 well, I feel like they shouldn't necessarily be upbeat. You are in an epic struggle against GODS. The emotion you feel when you beat a battle that seemed impossible is much more than that of one that seemed easy. Ultra necrozma is an amazing battle, but it would never fit with the friggin pokecentre theme. Leave the upbeat tunes for the smaller, side legendarys, not the final boss.

Fused Necrozma is all buildup and almost no payoff, which fits the story; the payoff is its own theme.

What I like most about Giratina's theme is that half the time it sounds like an intimidating yet fun theme to signify the fact that you're fighting a boss, then the other half it sounds like it's about to fall apart and is trying desperately to hold itself together, similar to the Distortion World that is so messed up it has next to no laws of physics.
