    Also remember difference is also light quality. Fighting version has Color rendering index of 95, youth version have only 80. I have youth version right now and i will tel you light quality is bad compared to incandescent light which is better in every possible way. Now it does its job preventing eyestrain, doesn't seems to flicker, buttons are responsive and lamp have good built quality, but i will never use it as standalone lamp at desk as it fail in one of most important thing to me.

    No one questioned whether the mount mechanism is pushing a screen with zeros or small ones bezzels on monitor.
    And yes same video and all Baseus light bars have this problem.
    Well, this plastic part presses the screen on the front, it becomes visible leaving a white shadow that over time, maybe even in 1 month, creates a big
    and unexpected problem with the crystals and the screen panel in general. Some guys open the mechanism by removing a spring inside but still accomplish nothing.
    I found a solution where I applied it and I have peace of mind. I stuck on the back of the lightbar base where it is also a counterweight very strong double-sided sticky tape and it became
    a body screen and bar. It hasn't moved in months and I can move the light dial without fear of it falling. But how is it possible for screens of €600 and above to allow such products
    to damage your screen. Never again Baseus. Check for BenQ peoples!

    Hi! Do you think this is also great if I will stick it to the wall? I only use a laptop with a webcam on it so I thought adding another accessory to my laptop wouldn’t look great. Does this one will work if I stick it to the wall or the youth ver. Is better for this? Than you.

    • @mpluspo
      @mpluspo  Před 2 lety

      Hi! Yes, you can do it that way too. I recommend having this version (fighting) if you'll mount it that way because of the mechanism. You'll have more options how to mount it like using hooks or other things it can cling to or even 3M tape as compared to the youth version where you might have a hard time mounting it - only way I can think of is using 3M tape at the back.

  • @grapegh0stx

    How is the clipping mechanism? If i have monitor arm and i usually move the monitor, will it drop? (I wont flip it 90 degrees but i do constantly tilt it forward and back and move around)
    Also what is considered a better model this or the youth?

    • @mpluspo
      @mpluspo  Před 2 lety

      Hi, I would recommend this (fighting version) more than the youth. This actually doesn't clip on to your monitor. It sits on top of the monitor bezel and have the other half as a stand or holder to balance it. The youth version is the one that clips to your monitor causing some pressure on the screen for some (from what I heard/read). If you have a thick monitor, moving it around wouldn't really make it fall out but if its a thin one, the youth version might be better as it "clips".

    Hi Mark, what is the length of the USB-c inbox? I have a big concern about it, because my monitor is using arm and limited usb-A. I have one way to connect i-work with AC power by bringing the cable goes inside the arm to power.

    • @mpluspo
      @mpluspo  Před 2 lety +1

      It's around 4.8ft almost 5ft. You can use a longer / different USB-C to USB-A if you need to. But I'm using the one in the box and goes thru a monitor arm towards a power outlet under the desk. :) Hope that helps.

    Is there something similar, but for lighting back of the monitor?

    • @mpluspo
      @mpluspo  Před 2 lety +1

      Usually lights at the back of the monitor are made out of LED strips. It's usually called LED strips/LED lights/TV or Monitor backlights. Some are USB powered and are usually RGB in color. More advanced ones can change color the same as the picture in the monitor for added effect. :) Try searching "monitor backlight led strip" in google and see if this is something you had in mind.

It sounds like zuh zuh zuh..., very small but in a quite ambience, I can hear it clearly and it's really annoying. Do you have the same problem? I'm quite confusing that this noise is an error of the light and might be harmful for health.

      Not much as long as your monitor is bright and has a white/light image. If its black or darker (I have dark mode on) you'll notice glare on top. Mine has a little glare up to my browser's address bar when maximize and I have a dark mode edge browser. The rest of the monitor display is good. hindi naman naka press sa monitor screen. basically nakapatong siya sa taas ng monitor and the counter weight sa back e yung nag kekeep ng balance. you can move it a bit forward not to touch the screen. also for my monitor na thin bezel e may allowance pa rin na black frame which is about 10mm before the actual screen so walang nahaharang na light or mismong screen. siguro unless you have a bezeless monitor and screen agad from the top then yes, it will block maybe 5mm ng screen where it is mounted but still wont press on the monitor.
