I received my first Barbie in 1959. I was four years old then. Every year after for Christmas I received one or two dolls, Barbies, then Ken, Midge, Allen, Skipper, Skooter and Ricky, as they came out, until 1965, then my parents started giving me clothes instead of toys! LOL! I still have my #3 Barbie, with the wedding dress she came with. Too bad I don't have the others. I can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos. I love that there is someone who takes such care in restoring these wonderful dolls.
That’s so precious!! Thank you very much for sharing 💕
Wow! That was quite a restoration job. I have never seen anybody fix a missing finger before!
Usually people toss the limbs and use donor ones, but I hate the idea of wasting an entire arm just for a missing finger 😅
Utterly unbelievably amazing!!!!!🥰
So many ASMR vibes in these videos! The calming of your voice, pinch of sarcasm and detailed handcrafting. Cafe Del Mar like music. You're a master in all!
Aw that's very sweet, thank you!
So talented ! Wish I could send you my Barbies and let you re-do their hair ! I love the way your dolls turn out !❤❤❤

Just discovered your channel. Love Barbie restorations, they're so satisfying ...
Welcome!
What an excellent video!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Pure Labor of Love! I recently acquired a well played and loved Brunette Ponytail transitional #6 (dolls that still had the 1962 face painting with the big "Lucy Lips") with almost perfect face paint. Absolutely Stunning, however her body showed how much she was loved and played with.
My challenge was to care for the matted hair that had a crude ponytail redone using glue and sewing the hair in place to emulate the original ponytail. After removing all the threads and dry pieces of glue I washed and conditioned the hair. Thanks to an CZcamsr who has a video dedicated to restyling ponytails only, I was successfully able do it myself on the spot. It was such a rewarding experience. She is Gorgeous! Now I watch your videos from a different perspective, truly feeling your own satisfaction in every step of the way. It is like an innate need to bring Order into Chaos and create Beauty. ONLY True Love can do that! With Gratitude and Appreciation for the Work that you do! Thank YOU!
Thank you so much for that, you’re extremely kind! ❤️
She looks spectacular!!! 🩷

AMAZING job!! She’s stunning! ❤❤
Question: Why the flocking? You don’t see it on the finished doll anyway. And you don’t see female dolls with flocking under their hair today either. So I’m curious as to why? 😮
Thank you!
A few reasons actually. The first being grip, it helps lay the hair on top and keep it in place, think of it as a kind of velcro.
They also did it so that if you peeked at the doll's head, you wouldn't be able to tell she had bald spots underneath, as the hair is quite thin 😂
I can't believe you were able to restore her so well! Her condition was... Wow. You are such a pro 👏🏻 The bangs must have been a pain but I agree, it was very much worth it!! Was that outfit an original for those dolls?
Thank you so much 🤗 The outfit is Evening splendor.
All the ponytails, except for a few rare editions, were released with the black and white bathing suit. Just thought I'd switch it up and take the opportunity to showcase all the vintage outfits from my collection!
Awesome workmanship . Can you make me over next ?
😂 Thanks
Such wonderful detailed work!
Thanks! 😊
Grazie mille ❤️
ant tips on how to assure there's no water stuck in the doll after cleaning? im always so scared to fully submerge them!
I towel dry mine on the surface, then leave them on the radiator for a few days :)
You have such amazing skill! I love watching you go about your work! Thank you for your videos! ❤
May I ask what type of plastics superglue you use?
Thank you! Mine is Attak, it’s an Italian brand :)
@@DoeDeerWonderlandthank you so much!
Parabéns ! Um ótimo trabalho ❤
Thanks!
Totally amazed! Lovely girl! (by the way, what happen to your link for the sheath?) I want to give it a go.

@@DoeDeerWonderland Thank you.
Fantastic! can you tell me where I can buy the hair you used?
Aliexpress! Look for shiny twisted cording, there's thousands of color variations :)
Just found your channel and I'm hooked. Question..... to seal the face from paint bleed, you sprayed it with MSE??.... which is what?? (probably a dumb question)
MSC or Mr Super Clear (the matte/flat variety) :)
You're a F GENIUS! loved it. Could you write down how's the hair fiber you used called?
Aw thank you! The search term varies, you should find it by searching shiny twisted cording/rope
Since the Barbie head plastic has reacted to metal earrings in the past, turning the ears green, is it wise to use a metal screw for rebuilding the neck knob? I did notice you covered the screw with a glue of some sort. Hopefully, there will be no green neck repercussions in the future .
That is precisely why I used UV nail gel on the metal screw, so that it doesn’t come in contact with the soft vinyl.
Please recommend a type or brand of Acrylic gel ? It been extremely difficult to find this item. Please provide information on what you use and how I can find it?
What is the name of the fashion she's wearing? I have a vintage dress and coat that looks exactly like that and it'd be fun to have my barbie match me lol
Evening splendor! Omg I'd love to see a human version of it 😮
Hi! I’m not very familiar with using denture tablets to clean dolls and I want to try it out but I don’t know which brand to choose would you recommend the whitening ones or should I get the classic retainer cleaner ones? I would be very happy if you could help
Hi, I'm not sure it really makes a difference honestly, the whitening ones should contain peroxide, which does lighten stains, so I'd say go for the normal kind first and go in with the whitening ones afterwards if needed :)
@@DoeDeerWonderland thank you so much! :D
Good job...!!! ¿:-)
Thank you!
I want to send you mine to do
That can definitely be arranged, you can contact me on Instagram for details :)
i feel sorry for her she was abused ,bitten and had her hair chopped . i know you,ll save her
3:40 omg i think it's bad to spray msc on your skin
The safety sheet only states that it may cause skin irritation (which it never did for me personally) but yeah, best not to get it on skin unless you're reckless like me lol
So inventive and resourceful. Amazing attention to detail, But as a grandma, I wish you would watch the F bombs honey. They are always so startling and jarring. Just asking for some respect. Love your videos. 💝
You did nice work here.
The foul language was unecessary.
I can't share this video because of it.
Thanks for letting me know!
You are so talented Amazing restoration .
Have you ever seen what may be a 1917 ? ,Transogram cardboard dollhouse ? the company opened ion 1917.
online photos from others tend to list them as 1920s but the architecture is the same as real homes built in the 1800s so , this may be 1 of the 1st things they ever sold i do have the original directions which seem to say that less than 1,000 were made . mine is almost perfect. the built on garage looks more like a carriage house and the cardboard driveway is supposed to be bricks . something made a small hole in the back and you are the only person i would trust to repair it . Transogram became famous in the 1930s for making Queja boards and mostly made assorted board games over the years .
Oh I had no idea they were a thing! They look so cute!
You are amazing ⭐are you on Facebook?
Thank you! I am not actually, should I be? 👀
