UHHHH mazing!!!! I got my first vintage Barbie clone a couple of years ago from the thrift store, for some reason I love it almost as much as my real vintage Barbie lol. My clone's a bubblecut.
There's something captivating about clones, can't quite place my finger on it!
She looks so much better, very refreshed. Also, can't believe the improvement to the appearance of the wigs.

I love this clone. I think she is my favourite 60s clone. I love her arms too. They are similar to Bild Lilli's arms. I believe the Lady Penelope had those arms as well (maybe the whole body even?). LOL! It does look like she did her liner "in the cab on the way to the club" 😂😂😂 She looks much happier now 😊
Thank you! It's a shame these clones are usually such poor quality, I'd love to get into collecting them but the hollow bodies really put me off
@@DoeDeerWonderland Yeah, they don't hold up very well. I have bought some that ended up crumbling as soon as I opened them. Some of them have hair that crumbles into dust too. It is hard. But much cheaper than legit dolls (most of the time 😂)

Actually I discovered that some of the loose arms and legs firm up if they are removed and put in almost boiling water. Not sure if it lasts forever but it lasts quite a while. Your wig turned out really good. I haven't tried that yet.
Oh yeah, that usually does work on Barbies and similar dolls. This one's arms are way less.. dense, if that makes sense haha so not sure if it would've worked

This guy literally made a wig- hand painted and sewed a custom dress for a Barbie but yes, the gold sequin puts it over the top and is extra lol

What do you soak the heads in to get rid of the green seepage on the heads from the corrosion of the old jewelry?
You put Benzoyl Peroxide cream on it, cover it up in plastic wrap and leave it under the sun :)
