in this video my brother and i wear a sweaty blanket and spill water in the living room
Gus Johnson plays all sorts of characters, from Mitchell Robbins to JK Rowling to some guy in God's Country to Imbiamba Jombes to filming videos with his mom to pillow guy to the my pool guy to small town reviews to how they use shotguns in movies to the tough kid growing up to your friend who has a knife to spotify ad guy to the how they use shotgun to the gus johnson shotgun to if i was frozone... I don't know why I am writing this in third person. I am Gus. I wrote this. My brother is Sven Johnson, that guy's alright. Guys, if you put all this dumb stuff in the description, it helps your videos. isn't that wild?
Thanks for watching and sharing! Don't stab people. I'll see you later. - Komedie
don't even get me started on how many crumbs he dropped eating that lembas bread
Bro one crumb is like a whole hamburger of nutrition too. Unforgiveable.
So basically Frodo is the worst.
Even when the fat one was trying to be tricksy he crumbed the nasty elf bread everywhere, stupid hobitses.
at least you can get the crumbs off the ground but the water is gone forever
Crumbs on his jackets's
When I saw this in theaters back when it first came out, I said WTF out loud during this scene. I heard my friend mutter "dude he just spilled all their last water...."
@Don't Read My Profile Photo Don't tie a rope around your neck!
Frodo has a drinking problem
Bro how old are you 💀
"All their last water" was the strength in this comment
@@nathanvanderpool1175 people older than 20 do exist on CZcams.
It's not his fault, he has a drinking problem.
I get that reference!
Just wanted to wish you good luck!
no fucking way
Go out there, and win just one for the Zipper
Airplane, a classic!
This scene has bothered me every time I watch it for this very reason! It's the last of the water and less than half of it ends up in Frodo's mouth!
@Don't Read My Profile Photo BROH why are u doing this..

Guys you don't have to worry. This isn't just Frodo. This is how EVERY dehydrated character drinks precious limited water. They take a fucking shower in a tablespoon of water all the time.
Don't forget when Sam found the bread Smeagol threw over the ledge he just crushed it up and didn't even try to salvage any.
That always bothered me more than the water tbh.
Yeah. Sam finds the missing life saving bread and just gets mad.
This is exactly what happened. In fact, it’s happens in every desperately low water situation in the movies.
Among so many other stupid moves! Like when people that had no weapons obtain weapons, use them for a scene, and then proceed to drop them and run right into another scene where they need a frickin wwapon!!! 🤦♂️🤬
It's because the viewer has to see the last drops.
If the characters just put the bottle to their lips and went "yep, that's the last of it" it wouldn't have the same impact. So they have to hold it away from their mouth so the viewer can see the drops fall.
@@theflyingfish66 Good point. I would'nt have thought of that myself.

I throw a fit over this scene every time. Immediately made Frodo the villain of the story
my entire family watches the LOTR series annually. Every single time, without fail, my mom leaves the room because of how pissed the scene gets her.
All the best sketches end with “maybe we shouldn’t put it up” 😂😂😂
Don't worry boys. I watched the movie every time I was sick, from 2nd grade to 12th grade, so I vaguely know what you are referencing
watched it every time i got covid. i too vaugely remember this scene
What movie is it?

It's a obscure reference, but quite recognizable.
I instantly got it Gus. I will tell your parents you did well
I waited my whole life to someone else reacting to this scene
This scene is a cultural touchstone.
lol I love the self-reflection at the end
somehow him drinking the water like that brought that scene into my brain like a blast of nightmares that i had repressed. i think i got the scene you meant perfectly
Glad you put it up.
I know he was going through a lot but damn it's hard for me to re watch those movies without hating Frodo most of the time
@@DontReadMyProfilePhoto_3 ok
True!
Sam deffinitly deserved more love and commended for not slapping the sh*t out of Frodo when he deserved it
SAME
I actually liked him more when I watched it most recently. I hated him so much when I first saw the movies as a kid
More of this style of content please, Gus and Sven.
My God, that Sam accent is perfect
Of course they have that horn thingy.
Their names are Gus and Sven.
Sam knew his place. He was Frodo’s servant. That’s why he always called him Mr. Frodo sir
can confirm haven't seen the scene but am glad it was posted 👍
I thought he was just using the trickle of water hitting and running down his face to turn Sam on.
“This is going to have lasting repercussions on our relationship”
😂🤘🏼
Nother home run!
I love how you have a completely different video on your timeline just to make it look complicated despite the actual video being a max of 2 layers.
bro i was literally like wtf is that timeline!? 🤣
Damn Golem almost ruined the entire journey by stealing the bread and framing Sam
Literally pointed this out last time I watched it. Thank you for calling out Frodo on his bs
We need more, "funny moments from lotr that you definitely probably don't remember but are hilarious nonetheless."
You've brought Tolkien's work to life
I read and watched lotr and can confirm that this is accurate.
Don't worry about the relevance, I haven't even seen these movies, but I know the trope because it feels like in EVERY movie, when there's only a little water left, they make it a big point to just waterfall it and hope for the best lol
This fucking scene, man. Every damn time I wanna grab Frodo and knock some damn sense into him.
I immediately know the scene, lol, spot on.
This is the sort of content I have been waiting for. LOTR Gus. Thank you
The ending debate on whether or not to put it up was almost funnier than the bit itself. LOL
That is my favorite scene of the entire trilogy. It is totally not the battle of helms deep and is, in fact, Frodo unable to drink water. Thank you for this wonderful skit, I will now watch Frodo failing to drink water complations for the rest of my evening.
You always make the best videos! Keep up the amazing work!
Lol! We got the reference…
I've spent years a plenty thinking about that scene in the movie. "Are you fuckin serious right now??" Comes to mind during my reflections.
They put it up 👍
I literally went to the search bar to find the scene to understand the reference better, thinking the video was over. And then that outro hit 🤣
Yep, defo gonna have to go find the scene now
solid lol on the meta part
That epilogue was hilarious plz do that more often.
But for the record I totally got the reference.
I for one, am glad you put it up.
Legends say that they're still debating wether to add a point of reference to this very day.
This is definitely iconic enough for a skit lol
Gus you can have some of my water
Finally someone addressed this horrific scene!
watched the trilogy to understand this joke
its ok i remember the scene
Watching this video and thinking to myself "I'll have to find a clip of the screen from the movie to see what they're talking about" so the end credits was a chefs kiss for me. Great stuff.
This scene pissed me off every time I've watched it. Great and/or excellent work.
"Frodo drinking water" is trending
this was funny by itself, but the end clip made it hilarious for me, lol
I admit, I had to look up the scene but laughed out loud as I watched it.
I for one, am happy you put it up
i think i remember the scene. It has been like 18 years since i watched the first movie. Yeah, i think i remember.
but he makes up for it by carrying Frodo to the top
I love the break into "Should we even put it up?" XD amazing lmao 🖤🖤🖤
so glad you put it up
I'm glad you put it up.
I’m still thirsty 😢
We have water at home
That's what she said
I've been meaning to make this video for 10 years😂 y'all smashed it!!!
God damn the comic genius at the end! I’m not even going to google the scene out of spite!
Glad they put it up
I literally started looking up the scene when they started talking about people not knowing the scene
I have seen the scene now and wow does he really miss
I’m glad you put this up.
I'm glad you put it up ❤
Bro never fails us with his hilarious funny videos, keep up the great work.
@Don't Read My Profile Photo dont comment
I've always been pissed watching this scene
I haven't seen LOTR and I still got it. Glad you put it up.
Gus Johnson's acting is the best in holly wood
This is an iconic scene
Sam was trying to save food for their trip back and he was definitely taking care of Frodo the whole time.
Lmao this is the best one in a while
I know the scene, but i never thought about how funny it is
Thnx for putting it up
I've just rewatched the series over the last few days and I don't even remember this scene...
My girlfriend and I call it a "Frodo Sip", and we joke about this all the time, haha
This is pure gold
It's a wild scene, I am astounded every time I watch it
I'm so glad you put it up. I am cackling. Seriously though Frodo is the worst. Lol
I was literally thinking that I don't know if I know the scene well enough to get this before seeing the end bit.
That scene actually is common knowledge grr
This has been a running joke in my family for years
I love this!
😂😂😂😂 I actually got this reference! I had the same thought 😭
never seen the scene but funny vid, you did good putting it up
I am currently looking this scene up now
Just watched a trilogy a week ago! I went through the same emotions as Gus. 🤣🤣
Every time I watch this movie I laugh at that scene!
“A few drops left”
Actually like a solid cup an a half left
Frodo wastes 90% anyway
This one works also because it has been represented in memes a lot of times, meaning that people who would not precisely remember the original moment will recognise it. Great work fellas, you should have and have put it up, good choice
Guss's Sam impression is on point
Relatable content, Gus
Always soo good to see your faces!! Much love much fun have a good one!! ❤
I remember the scene. I had the same feeling
