I love Erik's enthusiasm and positive talk but with this squad he's fucked.
Yeah I hate it that we have finally hired a manager on top of his game after our worst ever season and the board haven’t backed him. It’s almost like getting a brand new computer for your kid but not giving him the mouse and keyboard.
Hes also not used to buying his own players. Marc Overmars used to do that and i think Erik is not doing a good job on that. Why would u get a left back when shaw is almost the same level as Malacia. And Varane and Maguire are not less then Martinez. And now he wants to spend 80 million on Anthony a player who never played week in and week out against decent opponents. You never know how he will do in the PL so risking 80m on that would be dumb.
@@mr_stealyourbae_1039 shaw isnt the same type as malacia. totally different. Martinez is way better than maguire. 80mil is how Ajax sees in Antony value, if united agrees to met ajax's value than it is what it is. Grealish ain't worth 100 mil tho.

We can always criticise the manager for picking the wrong players, the issue is we don’t have the many right players atm most of them are average at best who have been given contracts again and again. Many of the dead wood are still there the Manager has not been backed. Woodward is gone, but his stooges Fletcher and Co still there who are clueless, nothing will change untill Glazers are out.

I don't understand English channels about MU. I follow Eric TH since he's from Ajax, just curious how he would do. Than since he moved to England (right away worked his ass off I think to eventually tell club and players what he wants & expects) I see nothing but speculation clips. About transfers, about the great ETH, about the bad MU players, about the bad owners, about everything but serious news that covers reality. We have some channels but most of them are realistic. So there seems no serious channel here. Just conclusions, opinions & statements based on fantasy & speculations. So as an outsider its very difficult to know whats really going on.

Ten hag is one of the world's best managers. Look at the champions league stats of his ajax team, they're better than Liverpool and City's. The players are not good enough. He needs time to implement his philosophy and bring his own players in.

The squad is awful and needs some huge changes, maguire, de gea, a new rb, 2 cms , forwards... but it's honestly terrifying to me that ten hag played eriksen as the CDM playmaker vs brentford.. say what you want about the players, that was a tactical choice that he made, klopp, pep, jose, most premier league managers, would never play a short, non-athletic CAM playmaker as a defensive midfield playmaker.. it was a ridiculous decision, and thats purely off his tactics and ideas.. that worries me a lot. It either shows a huge lack of knowledge of the English game or football in general, I don't think any other manager at the top level would be so naive, hope he is given time and gets results but after that I am sceptical
