I saw Ulta and my little "love to hate it" heart giggled loudly! Thank you so much for helping me select advent calendars worth the high dollar amounts and alerting us to those we should steer clear of each year!
I don't think you understand just how entertaining these are. Every fumble, every dropped whatever--we've all done that. The outrage? Yep, us too. You don't try to be perfect, which is why we love watching you so much. And the tree, leave it and change the decorations. That's not as weird as you might think.
Just a little advice--you probably shouldn't use bath bombs that frequently. Some of them contain things that aren't always good for our lady parts. Dr. Teal's bath salts smell great and really help with sore muscles.
P. S. Dial soap is wonderful for washing things, but not your skin. There are lots of nice bar soaps, well, not so many any more, but please give your skin a break and use something else.
I couldn't agree more!!!!! I just love to see her reactions and antics as she unboxes things. I also love how she shares about Tator, and other things in her life.

I’ll NEVER get sick of the advent calendar videos! I love all your videos but as someone who has always wanted beauty advent calendars but can’t afford them, these are my absolute favourites!
Fyi, satin isn’t a fabric, it’s a weave, that leaves one side shiny and one matte! So different fabrics can be made into a satin weave, like silk satin (what everyone thinks they mean when they say satin) or cotton satin. Or, in the case of those cheap ”luxurious satin” products, polyester satin, which is why it feels plasticky. Cause it is.
This is also why satin pillowcases that are supposed to be good for your hair don’t work - if you want a pillowcase that stops your hair getting snaggly and falling out and getting super dehydrated, go for a *silk* case (I know they’re expensive, but I promise they help)

I’m an 80’s gal, we used to refer to the “milky/creamy/opaque” formulas as *frosted* - hope that helps 😋🫦💄💋
I think of them as two distinctly different things tbh!
Frosted means, slightly irredescent or icy looking to me. Frosted is not flat like a milky based product.
I think there’s an 80s “frosted” and a 2000’s Frosted. The 00’s one was that very icy, slightly iridescent - the frosty blue lipstick that was in fashion, silver and blue sparkly frosted eyeshadows, frosted tips…we had it all.
I feel like that last one was the highest number of free samples we have seen in one calendar all season. Just raiding that junk drawer at Ulta HQ!

Lol my son's first job as an "adult" in college was for State Farm. I switched to them and still have them over 10 years later, they have good pricing. But he'll never forget working for them, he hated it!
Good luck, especially if you're an agent, I know it's extremely difficult. My uncle was great at it but an alcoholic. He got sober, retired, and, at 55, he and my aunt became sci fi & fantasy book dealers on the Convention circuit for 25 years. I don't know if that's motivation to stay or go, lol, but know that better jobs will come!

I absolutely used it in the 90s. I believe I still have a small bottle somewhere in a draw 😄
I used it in the '90s too but it always turned sour on me 😢 it's a nice scent but it was back to B&BW for me until I graduated lol
I had no idea this was the it perfume back then because my 42year old sister all she wore throughout high school in the 90's was clear blue water or something like that sorry it's been year's so can't remember the exact name😆@@callysto11

Off topic, I'm a bath girly and in the winter oh boy my skin was bad. Here are some things that helped me.
- Switch out bar for gel
- bath oil or dry oil after getting out
- after the oil has dried a bit a body butter or like a Palmer's coco butter. Don't be shy with it!
- lotion when you wake up and if you can remember throughout the day😅
- and yes water intake helps, again if you remember

I would LOVE to see a perfume collection (samples and all). The way you describe perfumes is soooo helpful when looking for new ones. And it seems that our tastes overlap quiet a bit. Love your unboxings as always ❤️

I fully think a seasonal tree is a vibe. Reminds me of my friend in university who bought a giant fake xmas tree . She quickly realized that she didn’t have a room to put it away anywhere so she just left it up all year round and we just decorated it for the current holiday/ season. It was kind of fun. In theory trees don’t have to be uniquely a christmas decoration.

We did this, too. Decorating the tree for every holiday was surprisingly fun! We had a white tree, so it was a very plain canvas. Don’t even need to use lights if it’s not a “lights” holiday (like Easter which is more a day time thing). Halloween tree was the best!

Yes!! Leave the tree up all year and decorate it accordingly. Add some pink or red lights for Valentines And hearts! And green for St PattyDay!! Beads and stuff for Mardis Gras! Easter stuff.

I love that eyeshadow quad. The olive green is especially great for pale brunettes.
I love using olive green eyeshadow because it complements my brown eyes. It also just takes a quick swipe. :)

I must agree with the majority. I quite enjoy the advent calendar openings. So much fun. All three of these calendars seemed cheap to me. The first one was ridiculous with it's shower cap and cheap scrunchie. The third one was just three extra free samples for way too much money. The second one comes out on top but only by being the least bad. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Thank you so much for sharing them with us so we don't have to spend our money!

Nope will never get tired of the Advent calendars. It may get old for you but I love your commentary and the mystery of just how bad or good it's going to be. This series is one of the only few that i will actively seek out and not just click when it's in the suggested videos
I think while some of us *might* get tired of the advent calendars themselves (and idk who those crazy people would be) it's you and your personality that keeps these videos fun all year round. 'cause yeah, when I'm feeling down throughout the year, I have a select group of videos that I watch over and over again, and quite a few of yours bring me so much joy. Especially the Chanel video, because c'mon. So I'd say that the Advent calendars may have been what brought most of us here, but it's you and the joy you bring to all of us that keeps us coming back. :)

Who here would willingly pay close to full price for an advent calendar put together by Alexandria? I know many people have asked why some brand hasn't reached out to do one with her, but she should do her own. Her favorite products, full size, useful colors, well thought out, just enough skin care, a couple of doors could have chocolates too, and one of her own candles! It would be super cute and exciting, Day 25 would actually be the best for once. It could even be simply packaged, like some of the Etsy calendars she's done. We would eat it up.
She did work with a brand on one but they kinda screwes her over and I cant remember why she isnt doing her own. I think it was in a life update vid

I genuinely love the advent calendar videos, and frankly I would love to see more of the ones for other holidays as well, like the Halloween one. Surprise/ mystery boxes are one of my fave things, and when they're themed like this, it's somehow even more entertaining

About the melrose body wash: “melrose” is the name of a substance that’s derived from roses by distilling them. So that’s probably why it smells floral but you couldn’t tell if it was rose specifically

The 12 day ulta beauty calendar would be great for a tween just getting into makeup or as a nice stocking stuffer type thing for a teen/adult to have like a mini emergency makeup kit with just some neutral basics when youre in a hurry
