I agree that luka needs to give the ball up more, but there was definitely a philosophy change. Luka got the ball in the post more in game 3 and Brunson went off. This game he let his shooters shoot.

Luka taking the same number of shots as always and passing the same too. His teammates just made their shots at home that's the difference. And he missed more of his shots than usual so his points are down not that he needs to score less mj scored 35 a game in the playoffs and won 6 chips. The role players just need to do their job which they did
Mavs actually scored the same or even less than the 2 first games, the huge difference was on defense where they held the Suns to 100 instead of 120. You clearly show how easy is to buy the narrative of the media without judging the facts yourselves.
In game 2 Luka shot 22 times, less than yesterday, less than game 3, but somehow he didn't "share the ball" with 8 assist when his team was shooting very VERY poorly.
were both mavs fan but you should see deeper why luka had to held the ball more in games 1 and 2. they were held back by refs with early foul trouble in 5 to 8mins of games 1 and 2. mavs couldnt defend causw everything was called foul againat them. luka has been feeding his team the same way he did all season long but most of them arent sinking shots. who would be inchargw to carry when most of them couldnt make shots? of course luka right? hes the ace to carry the team until they could produce when they need it to. but in games 1 and 2 mavs role players still didnt show up to help luka. thats why they lost and the reason why luka looks like ball hog when in fact he isnt.
@@someshnarayan7368 neh, he actually didn’t hold on to the ball as much, even if he got his shots off he let the ball move and other players make plays. That’s the difference, if he does that I can see dallas beating the suns this series.

He improve a lot this season, both defensive and offensive end. No disrespect to the media but how on earth they missed such player who contributed a lot for the team of dallas.
Mavs defense got back on track and are hard to beat at home. Been to three playoff games this year at the AAC. It’s rocking nonstop all game. If Finney smith gets 15+ they’re hard to beat.

The best part about the post season is some of these games where role players feel like they are holding the balance of that individual game. Dorian Finney-Smith last night had his off the ball version of Sean Livingston Game 1 2016 Finals. Luka getting everyone setup was massive but someone has to hit the shots for him too and at 66% from deep is tremendous.

Imagine if Luka had Lebron's mindset about fitness and diet. He kinda reminds of Shaq, getting in shape during company time aka regular season.
Luka is more skilled base in his game style he don’t use his athleticism both two different players.

He played the same as always the thing is our other guys stepped up and Kidd made great adjustments to the defense in game 3 and 4.

What's fantastic to see is the adjustments the team has made. Luka has taken a playmaking role with the team being more focused on defense and it's just worked so much better than Luka just taking the entire load on by himself. This was technically one of his worse games too since he was terrible from 3 tonight, yet still contributed 26 points. Overall the ball movement is just much better and players like DFS and Jalen are stepping up when it counts. Hopefully that continues in Phoenix 🤞
