CWebb had help and the league threw the series, Kings were winning and better and in a fair called series would have won, watched that shix in disbelief, they were robbed, hands down.
peggasyskid I put Reggie Miller on that list before C Webb. I put him on there before D Wade. I put him in the top 50 and take Zeke off. Isiah at this point especially has been blown away by like 15 point guards at least. He also shits on Pippen every chance he gets. Isiah is a punk bitch in my opinion. 29:54 - Chris Webber is right: Dirk and him didn't have the same numbers. Dirk is clearly a cut above CWebb, no matter what Cwebb thinks. Dirk was an MVP, offense-unto-himself (including crunch time), and a consistently great playoff performer. CWebb wasn't a scrub, but he's not on Dirk's level.
CWebb: 5 time all NBA, 5 time all star, ROY, and a rebound champ D Wade: 13 all star, 8 time all NBA, 1 scoring title, 3 time all defensive, 3 RINGS, Finals MVP, all-star MVP, 3rd best shooting guard of all time C Webb was underrated but that’s laughable D wade is in a different league and Shaq should know that
Ernie : Michael Jordan? Shaq : OVER PENNY AND T MAC?! Ernie : Lebron James? Shaq : OVER PENNY AND T MAC?!?! Ernie : Jesus? Shaq : OVER PENNY AND T MAC?!?!?!
Shaq is insane. He wants Penny who didn't win anything and was injured cutting his career short and scored "only" 10,000 pts. But would take Bill Walton off the list who won a FMVP, MVP and 6th man of the year after an injury just because he only scored 6,000 points. To me if you achieve the ultimate goal of winning a championship as the best player on your team then you should be on the list.
Ray allen was just a good All-Star level player. He aint no franchise/Superstar player like Reggie was. People forget Reggie KILLED the 90s teams with his closing talent. Even Jordan acknowledged that. Put some respect on Reggie Miller's name,yo. If it wasn't for Kobe/Jordan, Reggie would've already had at least 2-3 rings. Thats how powerful Reggie was.
@@luisdaniellopez4571 Win it with Penny? Shaq couldn't even win ONE game against the 95 Rockets and 96 Bulls. He got swept two straight years with All-NBA First Team guard Penny Hardaway. Shaq and Penny were the two mentally weakest superstars in NBA history before LeBron James.
You don't. At least 5 points, 3 boards and and an assist less in both years Nash won his MVP than those phantom numbers Shaq throws about. I love Big Diesel with the best of them but he needs a slap to the face with his real numbers for those years.
+T74G Shaq's Numbers during: Nash's 1st MVP: 22.9, 10.4, 2.7 Nash's 2nd MVP: 20.0, 9.2, 1.9 Nowhere near the 28.5 and 13 you stated. Regardless, it's not much of a debate, Nash is easily one of the top 50 players ever. There are many players that should be off the original list.
My next 10: - Tim Duncan (Greatest PF of all time) - Kobe Bryant (Second best SG of all time) - LeBron James (The king. Greates SF of all time. Arguably the second est player ever.) - Allen Iverson (Just the answer, man. Carried the 6'ers. And just changed the culture in the NBA) - Kevin Durant (Yeah i know he a snake and all, but arguably the second best scorer of all time behind MJ. A 7 footer hwo handles like a point guard. He's a human cheat code) - Dominique Wilkins (How he wasn't on the first 50 is beyond me. The only Hawk worth mentioning ever in basketball conversation) - Dirk Nowitzki (Transforming the game as a stretch big, and the last time we've seen a single star carry a team to a title) - Kevin Garnett (The big ticket put Minnesota on the map, I cried when he won the championship, and I'm a Nuggets fan) - Dwyane Wade (The greatest finals performance of all time, carrying Shaq in 2006) - Reggie Miller (He just needed that other star to get him a chip, still bothers me to this day.) In consideration: Paul Pierce (Between him, Reggie and Wade, and I feel like the other two edges him) Jason Kidd (Trip-dub monster, but couldn't quite carry the Nets even with other stars around him. I know he got a ring, but that was late in his career.) Ray Allen (One of the clutchest shots in history in game 6 of the 2013 finals, and the best shooter of all time (until curry retires at least)) Steve Nash (Two time MVP, probably undeserved but whatever. Never won a ring, and couldn't carry his team to the finals.) Chris Webber (He was good and all, but not near top 50, injuries ruined his career. If Sac-town had won the championship, maybe, but they didn't) Alex English (Probably the most underrated player ever, no one ever talks about English, which is a shame. 18th all time on the scorers list, avg 21.5 ppg. But theres a reason noone talks about him unfortunately, and thats because he never really made it in playoffs) Gary Payton (The glove. The best defending pg of all time and a HOF'er. I just dont see how he can knock out the 10 i've added already) Tracy McGrady (In his prime was a monster and scoring machine. Unfortunately injuries affected his career, could have been an all time great.) Possibly to be added in the future, but still too early to really judge them. CP3 (One of the best floor generals in history, but still has never made it to the conference finals, thats a no for me) Steph Curry (Is probably going to be on here when all is said and done. Greatest shooter of all time, two time MVP first unanimous, and a two time Champ) Kawhi Leonard (The modern Pippen. Already a champ and finals MVP and back-to-back DPOY) James Harden (Another monster scorer, but it's not enough just to score the ball, you have to win) Russell Westbrook (Avg a trip-dub for a season, nothing more to add) Anthony davis/Karl-Anthony Towns (Same situation, very early in their careers. They both monsters though.)
Same list for me too except I would change Reggie for Curry. Steph has already changed the game (Bill Walton effect) and has two MVP's. Didn't get to see McAdoo so he is out for me automatically
Vince Carter needs some consideration. And you're just wrong about Anthony Davis and Karl Towns. I'd put Rasheed and Ben Wallace ahead of them. And Dwight Howard lol

What did Shaq average that first year Nash won, 22 and 10? Those are like Tom Chambers numbers. Shaq wasn't even the best on his own team. Plus Shaq missed some games that year. Phoenix improved by 33 games!
@@krisharkleroad8 Exactly. Now you know why Kobe ran Shaq out of town. Would you want to share credit with a lazy entitled fatass with a basketball IQ of 45?
Just looked at the NBA's Greatest 75.... this video aged pretty well for the most part. Lot of names that were mentioned here did make the list this time. Sorry for Chris Webber and Alex English.
I would give Wade the edge due to the rings he has & it’s very unfortunate Penny got injured because Penny would for sure have been way better than Wade if injuries didn’t have affect. Penny was the face of the NBA in the late 90s with Jordan
He eventually said it, but yeah i agree with Isaiah. Someone like Dominique was better than Pippen. And I agree with Shaq too. If Bill Walton only had around 6,000 career points how was he on the top 50 list?
I dont know why people put Nique over Scottie when the latter has more accolades. 10 time all defensive team (8 first team and 2 second team) and 7 time all nba. Man stop it defence wins championships and scottie was the bulls best defensive player in the first 3peat
Sergio Renato Reyes As good as Pippen was he was never the cornerstone of the franchise, Dominique was and he pretty much put the Atlanta Hawks on the map. He had more responsibility and was one of the top 5-7 players that helped revitalize the NBA in the 80’s
It's a variant of a "set shot." which was popular in the 50's. It had to do with balancing the ball on the fingertips and bending and launching the ball without jumping. I can't think of anyone whose game didn't exclusively feature jump shots (including McAdoo himself) after 1980.
He and Nash have a history. Shaq stole his idea for a TV show once, and there was acrimony over it. Nash probably isn't Top 50, but it should be known Shaq isn't a good person to ask about it.
I'm crying laughing at the fact that Shaq keeps bringing up Gary Payton and Penny while everyone else is saying they're not unanimous and he just can't let it go.
The NBa guys are not 100 all the time. Bill Walton in the hall of fame ok. Top 50 no way. When I see Reggie and Kenny kissing ass talking about some contribution to the game Walton made what is it. Oh yeah they beat the Dr. J Sixers team and saved America from the dark side. If I was Isiah I be salty too. He helped to carry the league and got screwed by the league off that dream team.
Right! And its bullshit cause the higher ups didn't even want IT on the team because of the bad boy image and walking off the court after being swept. They didn't want that representing the US
Shaq: "I feel like I was added to quickly to the top 50 of all time" Reggie Miller: "I like your humility but..." Barkley: "I agree with that" Someone, Idk exactly who: "HAHAHAHA"
How Rodman wasn't even mentioned is crazy. The guy is one of the best defenders in the history of the league. I get that this was on NBA TV and Stern hated Rodman, but the only reason Rodman doesn't have like 7 DOPY awards is because of Stern.
Because Rodman wasnt on the level of any of the other players mentioned in this video. Rodman wasnt talented enough, especially on the offensive end, to be a star player or carry a franchise the way that Reggie, Webber, Pierce, Nash, Kidd, Payton and others mentioned could
Isiah: "I'm not gonna say who I'd take off the list, it might look like a personal vendetta but McAdoo should be in the list. 5 mins later... "I wouldn't put Scottie Pippen in over Dominique or Bob McAdoo!" Way to keep it to yourself Zeke!
Scottie didn’t make all nba teams until the 1980s small forwards got old. 90s didn’t have many good small forwards Chris Mullin was getting old and grant hill came later. 80s had a lot of good small forwards. Pippen shouldn’t have been over Dominique because he never had to carry a franchise for as long as Dominique. Bill Walton shouldn’t have made it or Shaq not over player who did more for longer. Pippen was great all around but he was called a Jordanaires his first 4 seasons migraine game Pippen, soft and not clutch. Isiah Thomas knows they bullied Pippen 1/10 game 7 had 2 points season before played 20 seconds never returned. Pippen averaged 9 points against the pistons for 2 consecutive years had head problems 2 consecutive years in elimination games. Scottie is my guy I was shocked he made it over Dominique.
Kelly Pagano Isiah is first non center to lead his team to multiple finals without a dominant low post scorer slash center. Then Jordan took it to another level as well as first leading scorer to do it multiple times. They changed the paradigm for winning. Conventional wisdom was centers lead you to championships
This episode gives a picture perfect example of how the top 50 was selected.. a lot of personal decisions and bias.. what a shame! Dominick Wilkins is a hands down top 50 player!
@Antonio Bill Sharman played 11 years and averaged 17/3/3 He got in purely playing on a team with Russell and Cousy who won them Championships. Prior to Russell’s arrival he wasn’t even the 2nd best player on his own team. Cousy and Ed MaCauley were better players.
I mean this video was put out 3 years ago, but I’d assume it was made a while before. KD hasn’t won his rings, and D-Wade is still solidifying his legacy. C-Webb is very underrated. Dude represented winning and had a huge leadership role. Also would’ve won a title if not for that infamous game vs the Lakers.
@@blAnc1k pippen said some things about Isaiah Thomas shouldn't been on the 1st dream team so Scottie pippen started this. @Ulysses432 but with all that being said, Dominque should've still made it over Scottie. And no, you have to be takin some weird shit if you think Scottie > Isaiah. "Zeke was a PG and nothing else" what does that even mean? Zeke led his team to back to back titles, one of which was against Magic (the greatest PG of all time) Anyway, Pippen was undeniably one of the best wing defenders in nba history but he is incapable of being a franchise player. If you take Michael Jordan from Pip, do you think he'd still be in the top 50 (without the rings)? probably not. If you take the great Bad Boys Piston teams from Zeke, would he still be in the top 50? Probably yes, because he's a franchise player. Don't get it twisted, Scottie Pippen is the equivalent of Draymond Green on super high level steroids. He does everything Draymond does a lot better but nothing more than that. You're probably a Bulls fan from the MJ era and thats ok but don't let it consume your sanity.
The way Isiah Thomas described Reggie, Charles and Cwebb was basically what Nash did. Carried a dormant Suns teams to multiple NBA Conf finals only to be beaten by great Spurs and Lakers teams as well as fishy officiating and injuries.

Ray allen was just a good All-Star level player. He aint no franchise/Superstar player like Reggie was. People forget Reggie KILLED the 90s teams with his closing talent. Shaq's Numbers during:
Nash's 1st MVP: 22.9, 10.4, 2.7
Nash's 2nd MVP: 20.0, 9.2, 1.9
Nowhere near the 28.5 and 13 you stated.

My next 10:
- Tim Duncan (Greatest PF of all time)
- Kobe Bryant (Second best SG of all time)
- LeBron James (The king. Greates SF of all time. Arguably the second est player ever.)
- Allen Iverson (Just the answer, man. Carried the 6'ers. And just changed the culture in the NBA)
- Kevin Durant (Yeah i know he a snake and all, but arguably the second best scorer of all time behind MJ. A 7 footer hwo handles like a point guard. He's a human cheat code)
- Dominique Wilkins (How he wasn't on the first 50 is beyond me. The only Hawk worth mentioning ever in basketball conversation)
- Dirk Nowitzki (Transforming the game as a stretch big, and the last time we've seen a single star carry a team to a title)
- Kevin Garnett (The big ticket put Minnesota on the map, I cried when he won the championship, and I'm a Nuggets fan)
- Dwyane Wade (The greatest finals performance of all time, carrying Shaq in 2006)
- Reggie Miller (He just needed that other star to get him a chip, still bothers me to this day.)
In consideration:
Paul Pierce (Between him, Reggie and Wade, and I feel like the other two edges him)
Jason Kidd (Trip-dub monster, but couldn't quite carry the Nets even with other stars around him. I know he got a ring, but that was late in his career.)
Ray Allen (One of the clutchest shots in history in game 6 of the 2013 finals, and the best shooter of all time (until curry retires at least))
Steve Nash (Two time MVP, probably undeserved but whatever. Never won a ring, and couldn't carry his team to the finals.)
Chris Webber (He was good and all, but not near top 50, injuries ruined his career. If Sac-town had won the championship, maybe, but they didn't)
Alex English (Probably the most underrated player ever, no one ever talks about English, which is a shame. 18th all time on the scorers list, avg 21.5 ppg. But theres a reason noone talks about him unfortunately, and thats because he never really made it in playoffs)
Gary Payton (The glove. The best defending pg of all time and a HOF'er. I just dont see how he can knock out the 10 i've added already)
Tracy McGrady (In his prime was a monster and scoring machine. Unfortunately injuries affected his career, could have been an all time great.)
Possibly to be added in the future, but still too early to really judge them.
CP3 (One of the best floor generals in history, but still has never made it to the conference finals, thats a no for me)
Steph Curry (Is probably going to be on here when all is said and done. Greatest shooter of all time, two time MVP first unanimous, and a two time Champ)
Kawhi Leonard (The modern Pippen. Already a champ and finals MVP and back-to-back DPOY)
James Harden (Another monster scorer, but it's not enough just to score the ball, you have to win)
Russell Westbrook (Avg a trip-dub for a season, nothing more to add)
Anthony davis/Karl-Anthony Towns (Same situation, very early in their careers. They both monsters though.)
Same list for me too except I would change Reggie for Curry. Steph has already changed the game (Bill Walton effect) and has two MVP's. Didn't get to see McAdoo so he is out for me automatically

How else does a list like this get made? It’s always going to be opinionated, no other way to do that when players stats match up.
Dominique*
It's a personal decision no matter who it is.
@@beattheodds6219 No it's about who you have to take OFF the list to replace with Nique. Who you taking off and replacing with dominique?
@Antonio
Bill Sharman played 11 years and averaged 17/3/3
He got in purely playing on a team with Russell and Cousy who won them Championships. Prior to Russell’s arrival he wasn’t even the 2nd best player on his own team. Cousy and Ed MaCauley were better players.
Imagine getting carried by a guy averaging 35 in the finals and PASSING him up on next best ten 😂
These are some of the best. Some of the best basketball stories told.
Cwebb over dwade, durant, gary payton and j kidd is laughable
You right about that.
Dwade gave Payton his 1st ring
@@danielphasavath5040 DWade and post prime-not washed at all Shaq*
akamouse100 Actually Payton and Kidd lead their teams to Finals so you can’t say CWebb did more
Isiah Thomas can't stand Scottie Pippen... Lmao😂
hes butthurt. cant disrespect Mike so he goes at Pip
@@blAnc1k Pippen is like the little brother everyone picks on.
@@blAnc1k pippen said some things about Isaiah Thomas shouldn't been on the 1st dream team so Scottie pippen started this. I like Scottie pippen though I think he's a good analyst on the jump on ESPN but when they asked him that question about Michael not wanting Isaiah of the dream team Scottie saying I didn't want Isaiah on the dream team he should've kept his damn mouth shut.
I mean Isiah was right tho, it didn’t make sense Scottie made it over Dominique.
This show needs to come back
The way Isiah Thomas described Reggie, Charles and Cwebb was basically what Nash did. Carried a dormant Suns teams to multiple NBA Conf finals only to be beaten by great Spurs and Lakers teams as well as fishy officiating and injuries.
