I placed an order last week and didn't get my full address. Is there a way to fix that?
I know somewhere try junk your digs and hit him up. Talk to him about his dirt track maybe.
Appeal for the challenge
If will ever tries to hide it again that's an extra 10
You guys should put studded tires on it and go rip with the CBoys and their shifter carts on the ice!
🎉
I love it when they take a break from the main storyline and just go on a side quest
Same these new style videos are just sooo PREMIUM!!😆✊️🔥✌️💚
I feel like Ethan could just feel his insurance premiums going up.
Not a Premium thing!
Right? Will- “ I have a fear of these” as he’s using it without a guard or face shield 😂
Lol not how business insurance works.
“Premium!”
There are "Insurance Premiums" and then there is "Premium Insurance"!! 🤣😂
Those motors are reversible outside of software, you just need to re-order the pins of the hall-effect sensor as well as swapping around the blue/green wires. It was being so weird because it was trying to spin, and the sensors report that the motor is spinning the wrong direction so the controller freaks out.
What kind of motor is this? I'd like to price one of those electric setups
I was gonna say I’m 104% sure I could’ve make that thing spin the other way
@@ProdigyAutomotive Kit alone is around 1500$ to 2000$ for 11kw kit depending on battery you choose and closer to 1K$ for less powerful ones. Its cheaper than some kits i have seen but least for me i dont have extra income to throw 1.5k for racing go cart and 2K for electric setup, when you can get really good daily driver for that price and proper road legal dirtbike or get small diesel crate engine into cross cart frame, witch will beat this in utility in any day.
@@ProdigyAutomotive I'm pretty sure it is QSMOTOR 138 or QS138 in short
@@darekmistrz4364 You're a legend thanks man 🔥
This group of awesome people helped bring back that dream i had growing up. I started a little side hustle with a Decent name I'll share once its legally mine lol. I started buying project ATV's and mini bike go/street-karts and started on the first custom build. Sometimes you lose sight of your dreams but it's a nice feeling to be reminded and its amazing how well its working out. So thank you guys for reminding me to focus on what makes me happy.

This is the hardest I have laughed at one of your videos. Going from "This is like owning a formula 1 car you drive in your mother's living room" to grind-khana donuts around a barstool and table and tire tattooing Ethan's new garage floor is epic level content. You guys have done it again.
"Tire Tattooing". That is Premium! 😂🙂😃👍
"Just send it" - flies backwards into the golf kart. I think I may have just woken up my neighbours with my laughter 😂😂😂
Epic
20:25 YES THAT BRACE WILL GIVE YOU MORE SPACE BETWEEN THE STEERING SHAFT AN SEAT! *AN A ADDED FREE BONUS!*, IF YOU GET REAR ENDED IT WILL FLING YOU FORWARD AN CUT YOUR *( WRINKLED DINK! BAG!) RIGHT OFF! AN YOU RECIEVED A FREE VASECTOMY WHILE BURNING LAPS! LOL SMH *GBYAA!!!!!!!!!!!!*
Will : "I have a fear about these blades"
Ethan : "You should."
Spoken like a good dad figure!
I cut my wrist all the way to the bone with a 6 inch one, very big scar.
oh yeah he was in full on dad mode today haha.
He should put the guard on
seein as they don't have a guard on it . . . .
My friend had one of the blades explode into his arm in three spots to the bone. Dangers shits, put the guard on.
Loving seeing Edwin back in front of the camera AND doing projects, LOOOVE it, cannot wait for the drag face!!!
I love how you guys always do everything in the absolute safest way possible at all times.
"I FEEL LIKE SOMETHING BAD IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN" 😂😂😂
What's bad is he didn't even get that fully out of his mouth before that thing slammed in reverse and took him out the door
That timing was PREMIUM... fr, i died.
He should honestly be glad his arm didn't catch in the rear axle, wouldn't mangled him bad.. Utterly reckless.
I just finished my 50cc 2 stroke pedal-tractor thing and im super hyped about it, I started the build some time ago when i got inspiration from you guys and the grazy builds that grindhard has made.I wanted to tell this because i felt that grindhard was the reason that bringed me joy and hope while building that not so powerful, not so fast, not so grazy, but SO fun thing
+ it drifts good when power falls from the skies
hope you read this!

Pedal tractor like the childrens toy? That sounds amazing! Doesn't have to be fast to be cool, man. That sounds awesome, honestly! And I'm 32 😂 props to you for taking initiative, and jumping in and doing it, it takes guts, motivation, patience and perseverance, good on you, keep it up!
Much love from the US, hope the fellas see your comment 😎
Not only do we need a Will Pushup Counter for each video, it would be Premium to have a Supercut of all Will's pushups over this past year!
A Will Push-up Counter is brilliant.
I'm a new viewer. What's the pushup thing about?
Edit: Oh, it's the phone in the back pocket!
This might’ve been the sketchiest video yet
How is a video sketch
GHPC is the Mad-Max backyard version of tony stark and I’m here for it!!
when i was younger i would build things out of nothing and it worked. i love to see yall make such fun creations out of scraps from other builds. This is so much fun.
The timing of that "somethings about to go wrong" and seeing that thing donut once it was the correct way looks like the video has been sped up, absolutely crazy cant wait for more videos on this thing!!!
Ethan's poor shop😂 been waiting for this episode ever since I listened to the podcast
Watching the first half of this and just thinking, "Wonder when Ethan is going to see these guys..." *midway through* "WILL! That's a $6000 garage door!"
"Okay dad I won't break it!" -Will :)
I don't blame Ethan one bit. He worked hard on that shop.
Definitely dad mode 😂
Love how happy Edwin looks building , hes having a blast
You might consider putting a return spring on the sensor side of the throttle cable. Or at least make sure you have a good kill switch (maybe a lanyard style) I found have that out the hard way. Haha😅
I was thinking just the same, looks like great minds think alike
The best thing about these little builds is how approachable they seem. Like a motorcycle engine might be cheap and easy to obtain, but it's so friggin' heavy compared to a small electric motor and battery you could almost slap on anything with wheels in a couple of days and get obscene speeds. (well, assuming your motor controller isn't the wrong way around... Also: Edited for typos I didn't notice originally...)
I wonder how much the motor and battery weighs compared to the 2-stroke engine a fuel tank. For something this small there probably isn’t much difference
@@AussieDaz87I'd imagine the weight of this electric setup is probably really close to like 125 or 250 2 stroke engine with the flywheel/stator attached (45-55lbs). However, the torque that this electric motor can instantaneously produce makes the beefy powerband of a 2 stroke feel like a 49cc gas engine in comparison. Seriously, anyone who rides bikes or karts owes it to themselves to try out a comparable electric powered setup. The G's you'll pull with good traction will blow your mind.
@@AussieDaz87honestly power to weight is probably better with a little 2 stroke but the torque on anything electric is so damn fun
It's cool to see Will taking on more projects. It's also cool to see you guys doing stuff with electrics. Speed and power don't care about their source!
This is the first time I watch a video for you folks and after like 5 minutes I knew I landed on the right spot... What you do is exactly what I dreamed of doing but never really did
Guys! When you want to reverse the direction, you need to change two phase wires and two wires of the hall sensors if you want to do it the "long" way. The short way is to reprogram the controller (as you mentioned), changing the correct setting (indicated on the programming software) will make the motor spin the other way. Trust me, I've done it both ways.
surely the company they contacted suggested that first
@@rendaddy_ Just the way 3 phase motor works, that would be the solution. The fact that they didn't suggest it means that they didn't know or didn't want any mixed wires. All they will do is connect the controller to a computer and program it the correct direction. All my cheap controllers can work by switching the wires and my decent ones can very easily be programmed via adapter and USB cable. This is universal.
@@esqueue I'm guessing it's a liability thing. It's far safer to say send the controller back, that minimises the risk of damaging hardware and having other people see the video and hot wiring their own motors.
I know this was driving me NUTS!! I'm here wondering where's Ethan to tell them to reverse ANY two phase wires and BOOM problem fixed!
Shhhh I think he was just being lazy, he even says “I do electrics” lol. Or it’s part of the sponsorship? Just another way to name drop the company? Bad Ethen bad!
Honestly, it's just total clown shoes every time Ethan is out of frame. 😂
Truth and I love the "chaos" some may call it. Some sweet content comes from Ethan's away times as well. Love when the guys cut loose lol
Im big into large scale rc cars and absolutely love this. Ive considered useing one of my 5th scale rc motors with 20hp to power a small go-cart for me and my kids. This motor looks stupid powerful.
It’s so funny to watch how excited Will and Edwin when they get excited about a project!! It’s like watching two little kids that just figured how to bypass the governor on a Briggs, but amplified to 10!!
Meanwhile Ethan is “don’t break my door” Ethan is growing up 😮😂😂
It's good to see Will doing more work on the projects.
Haha, just 2 minutes into the video and Will is trusting the tailgate on the K-truck with his life. 😅Love what you guys do 👍
These guys are just so sick. This channel never gets old
I like how you guys unlike most people keep the garage area pretty clean and organized. seems like a nice environment to work 🤙
Well it was...😂
Great video! We did a super similar build on our channel! We would love to talk with you about supplying batteries for builds like these.
I hope Ethan sees this comment.
@@jakeparker-wv4mwMe too! We would love to work with them! I have a company that distributes Second Life EV batteries at ~50% the cost of market. We can really help this community and want the Grind Hard guys to be able to push their electric builds further!!
This video could not have come at a better time! A good friend of mine has decided he wants a go-kart track in his backyard. It will have some elevation changes and cambered turns, etc. It should be epic! but we can't use gas carts because of the noise (friggin neighbors!) I suggested finding rough/retired shifter karts and put in electric motors. I don't think he fully got the concept. I'm definitely sending him this video. This thing you're building is overkill, but it's the right idea.
amazing! thanks for bringing us along on your great adventures in craftsmanship~
I’ve watched all your videos for several year and they’re great. All the bills are y’all do are ridiculous. I live in the south so snow is not available lol y’all do a great job on building random build keep it up guys 👍🏼
I’m your biggest fan and I’m 15 years old and you guys inspired me to make my own power wheels build
This is by far the funniest, rowdist episode of GHPC to date. Lol
your builds are always so awesome ! good work !!
Pro Karting driver here, if yall ever track that kart or do some fun street stuff, I recommend trying to get Mojo D5 kart tires if you have a 7 inch rear rim, or Vega Blue tires for 6 inch rims. It might be very tricky getting a hold of these tires as they are used for professional karting and they are pricey, but trust me, for a kart with that much power it would give it good grip
That thing looks epic! Another great vid!
You guys had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes you guys killed it.
that part where they're donuting around ethan is just the average grind hard experience
I love the electric content, keep it up!
Hey you mentioned local places to drag race. You can't race a car at this local event but, Old Town, Idaho has an annual motorcycle event called Run Watcha Brung in July and you basically drag race almost ANYTHING. I go every year and my job helps sponsor the event, I'd love to see you guys out their!
Still wish you would build an electric snow cross-cart with tilting battery pack over track so you don't have to lean
(can do "wheelie" sitting comfy up front while able to turn+ can ride steeper slopes)
The design has been tried in the past but using the fuel source weight to solve main problems (tilt/lean) is something nobody have done.
i didn't expect to enjoy the shot of donuts around ethan on his laptop that much. quality stuff guys.
26:33 It's so powerful that the way it moves doesn't even look real, incredible build!
We need the chopper videos… I’m dying to see what Ethan creates
I suppose the instant torque of electric motors does have some downsides. Thing was like an on/off switch.
I thought for sure Ethan would open the garage door after being concerned about Will hitting it. Luckily it remained intact.
Thats just the controller. They are usially really controllable
@@MADEINNSW The level of control they appear to have, the power curve isn't set correctly. It seems nearly an all or nothing response, with not enough ease-in. It's either that or they have such a lead foot they don't know how to ease in on it. Heavier spring on the throttle pedal may not hurt either.
Guys I swear this is definitely one of your best ones I can't believe you've been sat there for that
I wish I was closer to your guys shop I would love to come help/weld on a project one day 🤣
Love what you guys do!
put on studded tires and ride on a frozen lake, I think this will be what you need
Lmao I lost it when he called Will out for having two phones in his back pocket after escaping death 🤣
lol the rocks peppering the go kart in back was hilarious. love the cut from “we wont go that fast” to screaming
This thing is absolutely crazy! Looks like way to much fun!
Put the off-road go cart tyres on the cart and see what difference that makes
Will: “I have a fear about these blades”
Also Will: *proceeds to used grinder without a guard 😂
Hope the giveaway is open to international entries, couldn’t find anything that said otherwise and bought a few things!
LOL I love that mini pickup. You guys are such fun to watch
the editing on those indoor donuts was great🙂
Please please please do an urban takeover sort of video with this thing. Probably too late now with winter finally here, but go rip around downtown Sandpoint at 2 am on a Tuesday night and get some good clips of it. Different style video that everyone here would love.
Noooooo, Don't swap the motor to the other side. It does go backward. You just have to swap the hall sensor wires as well as the phase wires 🙄
Drag tracks normally love seeing one of stuff like that. Both ive been to with my shifter kart didnt have a problem with it at all.
The classical music was on point! 😂 nothing like a beautiful burnout ballet.
There are ways to do wild stuff, but from dragging it with the truck to all the nonsense in reverse could have gone bad. Ain't hard to wear a helmet, at least for the younger kids watching and copying their fav youtubers etc. keep up the wild videos, but think about whos watching your content and the influence you have on helmets in general bros.
Man they just grown up kids doin what they wanna do. If they get hurt let em have it but don’t go hurt n urself because something they chose to do.
Good job using the whole shop!
Man you guys were wild on this one😂 glad the new shop, and you guys are still standing!
You guys are pure Gen-X material !!! Hats- off
I wanna see more! This is awesome. I can't wait for the drag race...
Love the shot of the firetruck 😎
Sick workbench!
That really is some premium dirtbagging amongst genuinely decent friends taking place right there at or around the 6:39 mark - special callout to checkout the action at the 6:46 mark cuz if you pause it just right, you'll see legit proof that they all actually really do love each other so very much and hanging out and being around each other. Simply just a sight to see and one of the reasons I root for these boys right here!
Damn you guys had some close calls lol, this is amazing!!!
For the future, you can change the motor spinning direction by changing motor phase wire order (the cable colors motor-controller doesnt have to match) and you may also have to change hall sensor wire order
Killer project. Can't wait to see what you guys do with it. heh, new tires for a start, wow.
Yes put the major two heat generating components on top of each other. Genius!
That was insane but yet looked so fun! Subscribed
You definitely need to do this again that looks awesome I wanna see the bridge!!!!
I so need one of these, that is sick!
I remember waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy back when you first built that Barbie Jeep! An now look at ya giving away something we all need in our shop: a plasma cutter for free! Lets Go Grind Hard!💯💪🏽💯 You the real MVP! I want to see more of this build!💯
I never knew plumbing could be so much fun!
I can’t believe that I’m just finding this channel😂😂😂😂. Loving it already
Just found you! Not sure how I haven't seen the channel before, but wow! The go cart is just stupid good! Congrats!
The rear axle will deform pretty quick if you keep drivning off road. Really cool Gokart 👍🏻
Would definitely like to see this with 4 wheel disk brakes and a hydro handbrake for the rear with some meaty mud tires! she'd be a dirt driftin machine! Seeing it lifted would be awesome too 👌🏾❤
That thing would be a huge death trap with the center of gravity raised. No way they’d avoid rolling it over.
@@invictusbp1prop143 widen the track width 🤷🏽♂️ easy fix! These guys have built some of the craziest sh!t on the internet! Pretty sure a lifted go kart wont hurt 🤙🏾
I actually have the same project at home and i was able to change the direction of rotation by swapping the motor cables. Don't give up!
Do you think you could break down the parts your using? i really want to do something like this!
@@eliangreatrick6620 sure. I purchased 4kw / 14kw peak bldc motor kit. It's 72v nominal 200A peak. It was designed for motorcycle conversions but it can be used for go kart. You definitely won the internet with "This is like a Formula 1 car you can drive in your grandmother's living room"🤣😂 I never laughed so hard in my life! Maybe the addition of a roll bar too!
