The soft opening was a grand affair, with esteemed politicians like The Honorable Dr. Horace Chang, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security for Jamaica, in attendance. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of the facility, and it was a joyous occasion with a large number of people present on Sunday, January 28, 2024. The Harbour City Shopping Mall promises to be a unique and iconic destination for residents and visitors alike, offering a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

Could you please do an update on the Racquet Club condominium tower being built in the Red Hills/Upper Deck area of Montego Bay? Thanx...
There has been no damage. Pier1 is now also open.
We want more foreigners like the Chinese everyday. Thanks for the video.
Yesss
Big up
More love to the Chinese and other foreigners who are contributing to the development of our country.
@johnrucumbine8663...the Chinese developers are Jamaican citizens not foreigners...
@@garfieldwhittaker944 Well, that is even better, blessings.
China investing in Jamaica.🎉
Not really, these Chinese people are Jamaican citizens and the architect is also Jamaican born.
So where in Montego Bay is this mall.
Dr. Chang looks exactly like his mother.
Yea it's his mother
Could someone do a quick drive/boat ride by (or drone overview) of this mall to assess the damage (if any) of the recent storm surge damage on the Mobay waterfront (as such pertains to this mall)...?
None
Yet people are complaining that the Chinese are taking over. All who called Africa the dark continent and suitable continent are now eating those words. Get off the plane in any African country and you would be mesmerized how the Chinese stepped in and changed the demographics. Jamaica thanks to Andrew`s engagement with them we have made alot of leaps and bounds pretty soon we will not be dubbed a 3rd world country. Kudos to the Chinese.
Elevator
Does this facility have an elevator or escalator...?
I doubt it
A lot of these Chinese were born here in Jamaica so they are Jamaicans by birth.
Which band is playing ?
Which band is playing.
That's all some people are interested in..
That's why it takes certain people to achieve these things
And not just obsessed with pure pleasure.
@@owenferguson7893 oh how sweet could that be
So what ?
@sandymcqueen4930
If these people did spend most of their lives partying, singing
going crazy over Clark shoes
And who is the best artist.
And band. And don't even now where Jamaica is on the map
And have baby mother in every town. And thinking knowledge is boring a game of dominos listening to vybe kartel is more important. They wouldn't able to achieve those goals today.
There are elevators
This one chinese family doing all these developments within the same time period basically....the asian mall in portmore...harbour city mall there in mobay and ground breaking recently for the 4 twenty eight floor towers out in reading......one family with so much capital......hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.....not saying its a bad thing but i think jamaicans need to be aware and invest in jamaica as much as they can so they can partake in whatever these foreign investers are foreseeing......be smart jamaicans ...especially those in the diaspora.....follow the rat with the cheese.....
Original Jamaican Chinese from Elva shop , hard work and investments . If you were born in Jamaica you are a Jamaican. Thanks for the information.
@anthonystewart7675..these (Chinese) investors are now Jamaican citizens..the owners of this mall all belong to the Montego Chamber of Commerce..with one being a vice president with that chamber
.
Some of the Jamaicans in the diaspora is busy trying to destroy brand Jamaica, while some complaining about crime, you would think where they are there is no crime, then they also complained about outsider investors.
Hope that they'll install an escalator at this mall to help the disabled...
