Don't worry, the Montego Bay bypass will make way for Montego Bay South Development coming.Which will eventually need a another shopping space so there will be a balancing of the air we breathe.Lots of happening is on its way for Greater Montego Bay,a big sign we hope 🤞 will be up soon as the bypass,so encourage us all to start including you to start the development journey which is a blessing from the Lord .
Fairview is a "town centre"....actually the relocation of downtown Montego Bay. This facility is also close to the second largest cargo seaport in Jamaica at Montego Freeport.
it would be very stupid to construct a mall like this in each parish as its an island and wouldnt be feasible for investors unless theyre looking for foreign customers only like half moon shopping village or holiday inn old shopping village
To me it just seems like an Estate of different commerical buildings put together in a given locality. A little less than a mall and more like a shopping district. Where there a lot's of shops.

I agree! Currently, Eight Rivers Town Centre is the closest we have to this, tho the one in the Drax Hall Commercial Centre shows promise. Ocean View Mall on the bypass is also worth keeping eyes on too

Actually Plaza Las Americas is the largest mall in the Caribbean. Then in the English speaking Caribbean in T&T we know it to be Trincity mall in Jamaica you guys say Fair View Shopping Plaza. Also I know there is discussions about whether there are Outdoor and Indoor malls and that is another complication. I know Trincity is an Indoor mall and Fair View Shapping Plaza is a Outdoor mall. So there are different types of mall.
