I’m glad you pointed out the static. It’s driving me crazy because it sounds like the speaker is blown or when the settings is low on the volume and the speaker is on high sound you hear that static. Good to know at least my cabinet isn’t damaged. Thanks for letting us know and hopefully we get an update very soon.

The static can be fixed, I bought a better quality 12v power supply off Amazon and a TRRS Male to Female Stereo Audio Jack Extender Aux Extension Adapter Cords with Volume Control. Its a pain that they have the gain too high off the PCB and a noisy power supply, this way I can turn the gain down manually and it lowers the noise floor. The other fix is the reroute the headphone jack which is line level out and connect the speakers to that but I wanted to be able to still use headphones. It is kinda weird / lazy that they have not fixed an annoying problem that has a relatively cheap fix.

The control panel upgrade with the recessed screws and no deck protector is a nice enhancement. Wonder why they didn't do that with Golden Tee Deluxe?
Most of the time it’s because somethings are already in production months before they actually make the change. This happened with fast and the furious how it still has that box lit, washed out marquee and not the slide and marquis with arcade cabinets being made overseas. It takes several months for this whole process to come together so the golden 3-D cabinet could’ve been made And produced and ready to go before they kind of changed that control deck design. But that’s just my guess.
So so so glad I don’t have to spend a single dollar on any of those whack cabinets. I’ll be enjoying all those and punisher on my console. I’ll be getting 2 of them for about 600 less than those !!!

I got mine when it first release. It was defective due to the audio issue. There was no sound. I contacted Arcade1up about the issue. They sent me a new speaker replacement. That didn't work. I tried to using the MVC2 pcb to connect to the X-men '97 machine. That didn't work. Then I finally found out it was the control deck the whole time. How I know? I tested the MVC2 control deck on the X-men '97 machine. The audio works, so I had to tell Arcade1up to send me a new control deck.
You know what's so great about arcade 1up? You can go buy one right now. Brand spanking new. They're light weight. You know what sucks about real arcades?...they look ugly AF in the house all beat up looking they're heavy AF, too FKN big, too much maintenance, can't find parts, cost too much to buy, fked up monitors, runs your electric bill up. It will cost you more to maintain a real machine than to mod a 1up.
What are the different games included in each cabinet? I saw the x-men 97 arcade1up. And im tempted

Thankfully they released the collection on consoles. Just wish they put the X-men arcade game in the MVC Fighting Collection .

Honestly, they’re both great. You cannot go wrong with either or if you want more of the deluxe form factor without the riser Speaker grill covers then X-Men 97. But if the MVC2 cab is on a good price go that route for sure.
