A one night hiking trip and wild camp just end of Spring on top of a mountain. Went with my dog. Got wet! All sorts of weather! #Camping #SoloCamping #TentCamping
Looking at this vid makes me realise how old I’m getting. No way I could hack this trip so thank you do much for doing it for so many like me. So bittersweet to see Brucie. What a gorgeous boy.
In this video, you show just how hard the way to the tops is, the weather changing all the time. But very beautifull up there. Bruce loved it, he really was a outdoor dog ❤
Love the video. You weren't feeling well. We kinda worried about you, you got some much needed rest, we appreciate all the work and effort that goes into making these videos for all of us to enjoy. Hugs to Bruce. Brenda
Wow what a long hike until the top👏👍 the view up there is just wonderful 😍🔝 and Bruce is such a good boy ❤️ one call from you and he comes up the hill 👌👌 bdw I love this Tend 😉👍 thanks for sharing your adventures with us ❤️
Hello. This is a yr ago but really enjoyed your view. Amazing how far you hiked up there. Only thing you didn't look too happy this time. Bruce had a ball swimming. So graceful. Take care. See ya next time.
❤️ Thank you for making this amazing video with beautiful views at the top of your trek! I love bruce and his collie ways🐾🥰. He loved swimming in that lake! My parents have border collies and they never tire, they are bred for the mountains and sheep…. I think you were wise to go back early for safety sake with the weather. Lots of love to you, Bruce and family. Look forward to all your other adventures ❤️🔥🥰🐾
Kia ora AB - wow you certainly picked a steep climb on this trip. Such beautiful sights & peaceful place to contemplate thoughts heaps of Tussock in the background. So good to see your Border Collie enjoy these surrounds, One of the most popular sheep dogs in NZ. Actually you are not too far from where I am from Marlborough. In Aussie at the moment & after 20 odd years it is time to return home soon. Your video is fine to follow & watch. So good to catch up with a NZer & follow your camp outs so keep them coming & be safe Thanks for sharing mmm making me homesick.
Incredible beauty. Wow incredible walk you had to go to get there Tony. Brucey sure did love the Lake. Save travels back down Tony. I love your videos.
You’re 100% wrong regarding the star of the video.. it wasn’t your iPhone… IT WAS Bruceee!! When he pops up at the end of the video, between the seats….holy crap, it was perfect. His face.. ugh, I just wanna squish it!! Ps. The video you took walking down the mountain was absolutely beautiful!! Scary, but beautiful!!
Gday mate, really enjoy the Vids, Mole Creek is my go to place pretty much every time as I like to take my English Pointer on as many armed tramps/camps as I can. Just wondering what the pack is in this video, I recently bought a 90l Tatonka which isn’t the lightest in itself but also invites inclusion of the kitchen sink....
Hi Mate, thanks for the compliment. I also have the 90l bison but it's so heavy I only use it in the valleys. A tops trip needs something lighter. That pack is from Aliexpress. I'll put a link in the description.
AB Outdoors cheers fella, didn’t really get that great a look but from what I saw seemed pretty fancy and slick yet appeared to hold a fair bit of gear. Checked out the link, so sleeping mat for rigidity/frame or more just comfort padding? Little wary of buying unseen even at that low a price, good quality? Robust enough? For gear at least, obviously not for packing meat out, I’m more of a deer voyeur than a hunter these days anyways😊
The pack is awesome. The mat is instead of having a frame. It takes loads of gear but I wouldn’t chuck another 20kg of meat I it! But for camping it’s perfect. So light and waterproof. Much more comfortable than the bison too. Very good quality. And for the price it’s amazing.
AB Outdoors nice one, think I’ll take a punt, bought my bison after 6 years of using the most bare bones French army canvas backpack, no padding or pockets but in some ways a brilliant pack, the bison isn’t that comfortable for my build (at least) but do love the capacity and various compartments. But need a smaller lighter pack for overnighters and hopefully use as a day pack as well
JUS NEED TO ASK YOU AGAIN IF WHERE YPU TENT THERE ARE GRISSLEY BEARS ?? I'M FROM MAINE UP NORTH. WE HAV BLACK-BEAR. SO JUS THOUGHT I'D ASK. I LOVE YOUR VIDIOS. I LOVE THE CAMP'N N THE HEAVY RAIN FALL. LINDA. P.S..HEY BRUCE !!!

Will do in the future.
@@ABCampingTony Soooo did you ? lol
Would you recommend taking a tarp as seems in your new videos you generally have one
Yes, as long as you have somewhere to tie it. Just gives you a nice porch to sit under.

P.S..HEY BRUCE !!!
That Backpack looks like a bottomless pit! How does he do it?
Hi mate, the macpac uber light jackets, do you find the sizes to be accurate as im about to do an online order, im 6ft medium build
Great question. No. I’d say they are a size too small. I’m glad I went in and tried them on.
Why do use.so many tents.without floors? Are the campouts easier with floors?
huh? every tent has a floor.
@@ABCampingTony i am suprised at your reply. I watch alot of camping shows including yours and you are sleeping on the ground. So all tents do not have floors. I was just asking. By the way i love watching you shows.
What are you talking about? Of course we're on the ground but the tent still has a fabric floor. How do you backpack with a "floor"?
Do you hunt for food or fun?🙂
The IPhone was true quality over the camera, picture and sound!
How heavy is your pack?
A shade over 12kgs.
Would a staff help your climb?
Yes, or a rifle.
Do you watch Haze outdoors?
Seen a couple
you dont look like your in the right mood for camping this time....btw do you need more "O'boy" from Sweden ?? Let me know and i'll send some :)
You ever think about an animal encounter?
What sort of animal?
Where’s the rain???????????
How many question marks is that?
