So, all solid advice here, although I’ll admit I’m much more curious about the personal ethics involved in specializing in DV defendants. Do you need to depersonalize the relationships and cases? Has it changed your understanding of DV over time, and if so, how? Have you ever successfully defended someone only for that to enable worse abuse that caught you off guard? The CALIFORNIA system is a mess. Hard to find the correct or any information online to research charges and court date. Call Government agencies and mostly get treated with no sympathy, just trash. Many of these people being charged need life skills, education, rehab, AA, AAA, Celebrate Recovery, Ccognitive Therapy Counseling, a Naturopath Doctor, brain scan with Amen Clinic, and people, Therapists, Counselors, and Clergy that care and will help them turn their life around. Not jail, prison, being raped when incarcerated, medication, vaccinations which just make it all worse for the criminal, victim, public, and the world. The Government Plandemic2020 is working. Striping the rights of everyone living in the USA. When will your turn come to fruition? Any world changers out there, willing to do what's right and noble? So we can get to the real issues, and the bottom of this Government nonsense?
