I went to Hintertux in September when they had 1 run open! I had come all the way from America so it was amazing but it is awesome to see the place when it is fully open and snow covered!

What an exhilarating run, if I don't get to old I'll have to do that myself when I'm comfortable on steep reds.

Wider runs are easier as you can zig zag down reducing the steepness...

North America has some great ski resorts, doesn't it? Just need to travel a bit?

@@ChasingSnow they do but in the west mostly. With tickets costing more than $200 USD, lodging being super expensive, and plane ticket prices, it's not really possible for me to go out there.

I did the same routes same as yours in late Arpil 2023. Only 2 out of 6 day in Hintertux able to ski on top of the mountain in my Austria Trip...The rest of 4 days > visibility was so poor > you can't see in next 10m (white-light).
There are three layer of Gondola system.
1st layer Level 0 to 1 > no snow (Gondola base staring at 1500m)
2nd layer Level 1 to 2 > good snow
3rd layer Level 2 to 3 > good snow
(3250m at Top of Gondola Station)
4th layer T-bar > good snow but poor visibility most of time.
In good visibility > there is a speed track by T-bar on top of the glacier. Racers doing 120km/hr plus on the track are common (I am not a racer still reaches 85km/hr)
Remarks
The UV light at glacier ski was so strong. I wear goggle without any face mask.
My face and month was servely burn and skin peel-off only for 5 hrs exposure to sun light😢

OK, at least you got some days with good weather given that this season wasn't the best. I waited for the sun to come when I skied there otherwise I was just sitting out the bad weather...
