    I admire both your videos (the ones without the music when you're skiing) and your skiing ability. Of all the skiing videos I've seen, the picture from your Go Pro is certainly the most clear and steady. When the sun is behind you and we get to see your shadow on the snow, no matter how steep, as long as you have sharp skis you seem very relaxed. I would love to see a video by someone following you (the way you did with Snow Bunny, but without the annoying music) so we can see and hear you ski. Don't need a gabby instructional, just the moving image of you both relaxed and speeding down the steeps on those black and red pistes. You have made me a big fan of the Alpine resorts and always being surrounded by those beautiful mountains. Thanks a lot, ski a lot, and I can't wait for your next. Be safe.

      Thanks for the feedback Barry, always greatly appreciated. The music always complicates it somewhat so not having it during skiing seems to be a much better choice, easier to make the videos and seemingly what most people prefer. I do ski fairly relaxed and let gravity do the work as I ski practically the whole day, day after day, so conserving energy and not overworking the muscles is key. I will have to get someone to video me, I have a spare GoPro but just need someone to mount it on and capture some footage. Hopefully later this season, just waiting for the snow to build up again and continue my travels, next will be South-Eastern Europe and slowly heading back to France but probably finish the season in Switzerland. Glad you are finding the videos useful... Cheers!

      @@ChasingSnow Thanks. Here in Maine (USA) we're running out of snow, as well. We got a good start in December, but this January has been a succession of warm temps and rain storms. Maybe there will be some good snow this February. Really loved the Hintertux and Kitzski series.

      @Chasing Snow Why I don't care for the music: I can't hear the wind and I can't hear the skis on the snow and the scratchy bits. I am a fiction writer by trade and your videos accomplish putting this viewer into your boots, down those slopes, and into the story. Very grateful to have found your channel.

      @@barrylongyear1933 Same here in Europe but hopefully we get some good snow now, it has already started snowing... Seems no music is the best option.... thanks for feedback, it really helps...

    Hello, your videos are amazing, especially the GPS telemetry display. Do you have any videos or instructions on how to make such a video? How to extract GPS data from the camera, in which software you will process it afterwards, .. it's simply nice, and I would like to use it on MTB routes by bike and also for skiing. Thanks, keep up the good work, it's very inspiring

      Hi Brano, thanks for the feedback. I use goprotelemetryextractor.com/free/# to extract the GPS data into the format I need (either Virb Edit or GPX). I then use Virb Edit and/or Dashware to display the telemetry guages. There is enough info on the internet already so have a search. Let me know how you go...

      Oh no, tragic... not brave enough to look over the edge.... always need to be extra careful on hardpacked snow... article is here www.krone.at/2894234 so sad... Looks like it happened at 07:28

    • @timosooon
      @timosooon Před rokem

      correct, through the net - this kind of net protection is ridiculous
      Saw the women passing away and the other guys sliding over as well
      In my opinion a clear fault by the operator
      The slope must have been closed already before

      @@ChasingSnow 9:45 and here no net at all. irresponsible

      @@timosooon I agree the corner should have had better protection... Tho, seeing people going on the glacier while having poor skiing capabilities makes me often think why they are even there (not saying this was the case). I've skied a lot there and actually never felt unsafe. But like in every resort, there are cliffs, different snow conditions and other nature elements that can change your happy holiday in a blink of an eye to a nightmare. A wooden barrier probably would have stopped her (also with injuries). Lets hope the other woman wil survive and can live with this horror one day.

      @@timosooon If the net didn't stop her then you are correct, negligence on the operator's side...
