    Ooh, a graph.
    I find it interesting too. Dominator was my first personal vehicle so in time I kinda had to think hard about wheelspin and mind the accelerator because that thing really makes it obvious how detrimental full throttle can be, and not even just for starts of races but some turns too.

    You have taught me so much about driving on GTA. I was already quite good as I already knew about wheel spin and the apex of turns, throttle control during turns, and smooth turning. Everything has gotten fine tuned and improved, and now I am even more skilled of a driver because of you. Also, I have found that some cars have two mid drive boosts that are usable one after the other, one as you shift into 2nd and another while shifting into 3rd. This double mid boost seems to be rare, very rare. I should lay off helicopters and start driving again to further test this.

    • @myfatassdick
      @myfatassdick Před 6 lety

      I know this is old and you probably don’t play gta anymore but what cars can you double mid drive speed boost with? When I try it it works the first time but then the second time it just stalls the car as if you missed a gear

    For race starts with a timer, I use the super boost, but with throttle control during the count-down. I don't really know how it compares to the methods mentioned in this video, but if timer and actual race start are out of sync (which happens more often than not) and you miss the boost, this ensures that you don't end up in the red area of the graph - with wheelspin, the worst of all starts.

    Would you think rain would affect any of the regular starts?
    Would that change the GRAPHS up any?
    Also if I do understand that graph, the one with the flat line (no wheelspin), whichever car that would be would not be able to do a burnout? The only 'vehicle' that comes to mind when that graph is involved is the Lawnmower (can't do a burnout).
    I haven't heard of any SUV that can't do a burnout, but maybe I'm completely off here and the car with the flat line graph CAN do a burnout, idk.
    Sorry if my comment confused you lol

    • @broughy1322
      @broughy1322  Před 9 lety

      Ishan826 Rain would shift everything to the left on all graphs, so wheelspin is achieved at lower levels of throttle application. Burnouts are a bit different since you purposefully lose grip first of all before doing it. I'm talking strictly about pulling away from the start line.

    I think it's cool when you use graphs. Makes it more scientific I guess which isn't a bad thing.

    loved the graphs! this might be a long-shot, but i saw recently that there's a mod/script that lets people use a racing wheel and pedals in GTA. I guess im not sure if it works for online... but have you considered trying a wheel? i currently use mouse and keyboard, and while i do have a controller, a wheel seems more fun.

      most mods need ScriptHook to work properly, and modding isn't allowed in Online nor on Project Homecoming, plus racing with a wheel in gta is just terrible

    sometimes i see people in a normal race starting already when the timer shows 1 or 2, the "GO" doesnt appear (so you cant get the boost at the start), what to do here?

    Broughy, I want you to test something, PeeCarNoo just uploaded a video about "How to land" and one of the AWD cars did something strange, it is the Entity, he landed the car on the rear axle which made it go faster than lading it on 4 wheels. He also tested it with the Osiris, now when this landed on its 4 wheels it went faster than landing on the rear, so does this prove that some cars have different load to their axle? For example the Osiris might have 50% to its front Axel and 50% to its rear, while the Entity might have 30% front and 70%
