I bought a wrecked Porsche 718 Cayman S and rebuilt it but after a trip to the Nurburgring I broke it! Today I'm repairing it once more to take it on track to Donnington race circuit.

is there anything mat can't fix ? 😂👑
maybe the McLaren....
Hey CZcams!
nope, he can fix anything 😅
My inability to talk to women 😐
Lol@@TheChainsawed
The solder crimps are actually used quite a bit on Fighter planes, so it's good enough for a blinker :)
People bash things they don’t understand lol those connectors have been around for a long time and used on things that start at $10million…🤷♂️ they’ve worked for me for years with no issues I love them!
Hannah’s tattoos look amazing. ❤
Yep I use them over every other type of end to end connector and NEVER had a problem
Dude I don't know where you find the motivation to keep banging your head against all the issues you have to overcome...
Power to your elbow brother 💪😎😋✌
I know I get into 1 little problem then I’m pissed off all day 😂 wish I had his energy
I reckon all the money he makes on you tube helps with the motivation,, fully deserved by the way 👍👍👍

Solder sleeves are a standard repair in the aviation industry and used widely so good job Mat.
Really amazed at how much damage gravel munching does! Not going there with our Cayman, that's for sure! 😄
Not in America FAA…solder is brittle to vibration….only place i have seen solder is in to add a grounding wire to a shielding wire.
Add some metal front splitter support bars in the middle of the grille onto the splitter. Would look sick but also actually hold the splitter up. At high speeds that splitter is gonna be pushed down by the immense air pressure over it.
Didn't Porsche (When Matt took it for an inspection (In an old video)) say it was missing those metal cables to support the splitter??
Was with a Ferrari challenge car recently and the splitter on them feels like you could stand on it, also looks like it’s been chewed by the dog and still going strong - I’d keep the nice carbon one on the shelf and stick a scrubber on for track times
Congratulations to Craig , I hope he enjoys it .
Craig
Who are you talking about? Mat is the person that runs his channel. You listen to Mat. Mat makes all the decisions. You shouldn’t be thanking anyone else or celebrating anything else other than Mat uploading these videos. You sound confused.
Mat, please, when you fix the McLaren, do a raffel for whole of Europe, i have to take that beast back to Amsterdam❕
Nah he should keeo it
I think this is gonna be a keeper for Mat
Hell no, let me take it back! 😄
I think there are laws preventing raffling outside of UK. It’s a very complicated procedure.
Nowhere to park in the dam.
I'm a 51 year old guy from Hamburg Germany. Mum was from Yorkshire.
I truly love your positivity. Great chap 🙏
Always a good day when matt uploads a video
I love how aggressive each one of your builds looks in the end, and the fact that you drive them like you build them for. Also the positive energy you bring to each o your videos is tops! Keep it up mate!
Love the channel Matt, Hannah and the MA team. ❤️
So happy to see you enjoying your cars that you build!
Awesome video. Love the behind the scenes. Looks like everyone is having fun.
Keep doing the good work mat and do some crazy car projects
We’re going to start slow he said, cuts to “I thought we were dead” 😂 appreciate the uploads Mat
Nice one Mat, great video as always, love the format on this channel, very laid back and a mix of all your vehicles. Don’t get me wrong the main channel is awesome but very focused on one specific car. Also saw your tattoo video, hope Hannah is pleased with your new purchase👍👍🇬🇧
Loved the track footage. Well done!
So good to hear Adrian Flux supporting this channel, I have used them for years on a massive variety of vehicles and they have been amazing!
Big up the Flux!
Donno is a lovely track. Well played on your performance given you are a “novice” driver. Remind me to keep away from crazy RS drivers though…. Always funny to have them hang onto your tail pipe, then when you let them thru, only to see them 1 corner later in the barriers 🤪
Love all your content on both channels mate some awesome builds and your dad is wicked! Nice driving too mate ❤
i am so glad you still have the Maserati it was my dream car when i was young and your one stands out like no other!
On the splitters in the past I've run a piece of alloy tube across the inside tiger sealed on to stop the flex. Great vid as always 👍
Great stuff as usual Mat! I had a Jag a few years back with a similar tyre problem to the Maserati, turns out it was toe angle rather than camber that was the culprit. Too much toe out causes the inside tread to wear quickly. I'd recommend a good four wheel alignment to get it sorted. :)
Thank you Mat, You are an inspiration to me and many others, u inspire many of us to challenge ourselves and go head on. I love your energy it makes me want to get better at fixing cars and becoming better while having fun, Thank you again!
Would u like to come to sweden sometime? maybe you can try out rallying!
- Marc
Seeing that guy get that car was awesome mate 👍
😊❤ I’m glad you have a good young lady to help you work on those porches. Maybe she has one if she does send pictures
Great to see the lovely Hannah in this episode and the cars are quite nice too!
So many people would’ve made this 2 videos on their main channel. For Matt it’s 1 video on the second channel! Nobody is doing it like Matt. Deserves everything he’s achieved.
Congrats to craig hope he enjoys the m5 wat a machine!
This was such artistry! Love the who video. New subscriber here to stay and enjoy your wonderful hard work. Friends for life! 😄😍
Great content Mat!!! Congrats. Keep up the good work!! Greetings from Argentina.
This Porsche is looking so good... i love everything about it
Good to see you having some great fun.
Bro, I love your videos. I've been watching you since you put the wide body on the maserati. Glad to see you doing well!
Great vid, the Cayman looks the nuts, the spacers make it sit very well 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Great video Mat. Putting the RS in the gravel. Ouch 😣.
Mat seems like a really great guy. God bless you brother and all your endeavors 🤌🤌🤌
Matt is wearing a shirt supporting Russia and Putin at 10:09.. Please reconsider your opinion. I don’t trust anyone that supports those dirty Russians.
love the track day vlog
I like your test with the hand on the splitter … definitely similar forces involved when going 150+ 😂😂😂 you are a ledge and your vids are awesome …. Like the best ones on you tube in my opinion ❤❤❤
great seeing your enjoying track days
Thanks for taking us all on a great day out
porsche videos are actually the best to watch
He turned into an Albania mafia boss the moment he got in the M5 😂 I’d be afraid to talk to the guy but he’s the sweetest 😂😂😂 Congrats Craig!!!
Yo Mat nice video again on the Cayman and a track day, keep on going m8, cheers👍🏻✌🏻👊🏻

Absolutely loved this one Mat.. This was awesome.. Loved the track day. Screw the haters in the comments too...
Great improvements on the GT4 . Your CAYMAN is truly amazing . It is certified now for road and track . I always like to see your MASERATI with WIDE BODY KIT. You have built a wonderful car.
Nice update on all the cars 👍
we're coming here to win and win only! love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you raffle that RS6 I will definitely be in it to win it. Loving that car all ready. Keep up the good work and there's only one way I would ever buy a cat car and that is if I know how its repaired. credit Mat to your channel and skill set and certainly about the care you repair the structures too.
Congrats to Craig, Hope one time you could rebuild a mk4 Jetta vr6 sometime!
I went round silverstone in a gt4 when I was at the silverstone festival in a porshe parade
They are some mad cars
You will become the guy when anybody needs (or wants) this type of endeavor. I’m home recovering from back surgery so driving low to the ground cars maybe history. 991 with 993 seats maybe. Point is I’m really watching the welding and older gentleman is a Yoda. Keep up the good work
Love the track days!! Beat on thst Porsche like it’s mean to be!!! 🥰🥰
Mat Armstrong, you have your rear tires mounted BACKWARDS. The arrows (pause at 2:56 ) are pointing to the rear of the car.
You are a mechanic now you fix cars for a living ,!! Great content as always
The one with that beautiful induction noise ❤❤
Doing the lutto crew proud lad 🔥
Love your videos 🔥🔥🔥
Brilliant! Loved the race with the RS. Would be good to know what spec it was!
enjoying the trackday stuff, keep the cayman build going and turn it into a true gt car
Absolutely love the videos!!! Keep them coming!!! #HWBT
Remember when you first got that unit and there was someone else there now look got the whole thing , just came into my head then 😅🙌🏻 well done man
I'm at Donington this coming Tuesday 12th for the last evening session of the year and also have a DC5. Would have loved to see you out there! (Unless you are coming again 👀)
RE the solder stick connectors I saw them on one of Ratarossa's video and thought they looked ace and bought some! And they are so much easier the trying to solder a wire together. In my opinion they are a brilliant invention!
Good to see Mat go old skool fixing the car on the driveway
Let's Go Cayman! I love driving my Cayman out here on SoCal freeways💰💰💰!
Great video! Be careful running spacers on track it’s not recommended. Fitment on point though. The track content is a fun addition
Mat never disappoints us.
You deserve the accolades mate 👌✊
You should try a plywood insert inside the splitter 👍
Yes, better than nothing or even fibreglass an aluminium strut across in the hidden piece.
I need this videos of channel every day
Matt, loving the channel and the content. Fellow petrol head and trackday warrior. Let me know when your next on track please.
Would love to meet up with you guys 👌
I see the RS6 carbon body kit has been painted. It looks amazing. excellent work mat 💪 🤜🤛
Track days for the win 🏆
Matt I'm new to the channel. Bot boy your enthusiasm is addictive. Keep doing what makes you happy
You’re gonna love it Prim!
Entered the comp. Love the vids
Can’t wait for a world wide raffle 🥺, you definitely have some supporters all the way out in South Africa ❤
I've been using those solder sealer connectors for over a year on my motorcycle and trailer and they work great. Easy and convenient they do the job quickly and securely. They're inexpensive and you can order them just about anywhere.
Congratulations on #2 trending. You deserve it friend.
Those wire connectors are fantastic, it was VAG's recommended method of repair when I worked or them
Nice job Matt. The Porsche looks brilliant now. The wheels look away better lol. Christ it sounds nice on the track. That's a keeper Matt. Thanks for the Content. 😅😅 🇨🇮🇨🇮
Mat, thanks for making your videos, they are the only videos I actually check daily for to watch. I live not far from you and a bit nearer to Donnington ;) If you ever fancy giving that Porsche away, I'd love to take it off your hands, but only if you paint it Porsche Crayon :) Keep up the good work, it looks like you're surrounded by great people and it shows HWBT every day! Cheers!
When next am in the uk, i will try to link up with you such energy and full of fun
The universe took you back to where it all started (fixing cars in the parking lot) ❤️ 💪👌
Mat- more than happy to look after the Maserati for you 😅
At least the exhaust hasn’t fallen off yet 😂 top driving dude
Love both channels and content! Appreciate the grind to get it out! 🦾👌
Hey I used like 300 of those little connectors on the LED sign those little shrink to fit heat gun things are awesome
Must be a dream come true
Having all them fab motor's 👍
Love the cayman think its my favourite along with the aston. The colour is incredible such a great job on it
Great video Matt and gang
I do love that Maserati, prob my fave out the lot
Looks a load better with the spacers on the rear bro 🔥
