Hello CZcams!
hello there
ok
What’s CZcams doing here????
Never seen that before
I like the way Mat and Hannah speak to each other without interrupting each other, and show good respect to each other’s quite considerable knowledge.
@Michael Curley weird comment
ikr u just want to hug them both.
Both of them are amazing 👏 my wife doesn't know anything about cars but after watching your videos she has taken a lot notices of what you have done and thinks your both amazing 😊😊.
My wife and I also watch these videos together, and we neither have a car nor
do we want one.
@Michael Curley u r weird
Matt is flat out delivering superb content with great quality consistency ❤
👍
i love the fact that he is one youtube who doesn't waste time in his content
7 months only? Feels so much longer with all the banging content in the meantime! ❤
Fantastic job! Always great to see solutions to problems and what makes it extra special is you show that we dont always get things right first time! Love the channel - it has helped me get some confidence to deal with a few issues with my own car.
That exhaust is a work of art, just needs a clean. I use the 10x harpic on my exhaust and it comes up like new
I love the hands on description and the way you interact with your friends. There is so much positive energy all around you and you are making me smile and admire😮
This channel is like my best starter to my favorite main couse. While waiting for Mat to upload on the main channel, i can calm myself here.
All the love and support Mat❤
The restraint module has been combined with what use to be a body control module. So, besides the gyros being in it and providing the data to the traction control / braking module, it also controls the instrument cluster, lighting, door locks and many more items. I worked on North American car restraint modules the last 30 years, but European are very much the same. By the way, the gyros are semi-conductor fingers that move and sense vehicle motion. The airbag controller is also using the data besides the traction control.
RCM and BCM are still separate units as of today on these products
Hi Mat, as your on old projects any chance of an update on the BMW E24 635 would love some news on this as I was really interested when you brought the car to your great channel
Cheers mate, love all of your content 👍
Mat should do a colab with Taylor from Autoalex and fix the 6 series.
so glad for this channel, definitely more content on the other cars mat maybe do a track day with the gallardo like you did with the porsche or drag races 🎉🎉
Great content! Fantastic solution. Great work.
Look at the plus side, it’s a learning curve and now you know for next time 😅 either way loving the content, on both channels! Keep up the great work Mat!
I can't believe how in tune with your viewers you are I was litterally sat there thinking how much to PPF my car and hey presto your on it amazing content!!
Amazing content once again Matt. Your absolutely smashing it. The week doesn’t come around quick enough for the next Video.
Ah man it’s always a buzz when you upload. We all love it. Best car CZcamsr to watch
I vote - Definitely go with chassis mounted wing if your modifying the exhaust tailpipes!!! Great idea
Hi, this may have been already posted, but I'm sure that old used module could of had the VIN changed using either Abrites kit or done on the bench via the EPROM rewrite.
I've saved loads of BMW cars from scrap yards by doing same on the abs pump and just rewritten the new vin and bingo.
A lot of the JLR stuff can only be coded to a car once, eg TCU
Hi Steve.
I ve got the SDD and the other one that is like IDS.
But I ve not actually coded that perticuly ECU, but done others.
But the Arbrites kit is very powerful and is like a pandora box. It has so many add ons its amazing and can be done via the DLC or on the bench with the chip off the board and rewrite the data or clone the data on to a used unit.
I tried doing a screenshot but wont let me. So I've managed to copy the text off of the site for you guys to read if interested.
So in theory his used ECU could of been cloned, or the original unit might of been able to had the crash data wiped off, or reset to a virgin unut, or as I ve done on many cars just change the VIN and it codes in like a new unit.
Hope my waffle has been of help ...
Cheers guys.
The procedure is simple: disconnect the old ECU and connect the replacement ECU. After that, it's no more than two minutes in the Abrites Diagnostics for Jaguar/Land Rover software. Under the Key Programming menu is the Module Initilisation functionality to be found. Once you executed, the Initialisation will adapt the new donor ECU and the car is ready. The car must have a minimum set of two programmed keys as a prerequisite so that the Initialisation can begin.
Amazing Channel. Loving the projects you do 🎉
A great video! I’ve got to say, I really enjoyed the progress update on multiple cars, such a good format 👌🕺
Glad you got it sorted. Years ago I saw a nicely modded Rover that had the badging changed from RANGE ROVER to GAME OVER.Thought that was pretty cool.
Man great videos! Keep oit
up! What size wheels tire offset did you run?
I love the work you do. Very inspiring
Mods zake ni kali kali sindio?
you keep me entertained even through these tough times of my life,I love your videos man ❤
by any chance can you please do a "travelling 1000 miles in the Range Rover Vogue." video😊
So happy to find ur channel love from Florida bro ur vibration and passion brings me real joy I get down often and genuinely looking forward to you posting lol actually 2 days in a row typed in ur name to see if u posted yet 😂hood shit in the merci
Mat Armstrong, by far my favourite CZcams personality
That pattern on the Lambo bonnet and roof reflecting from the lights would look insane on the car
Mat another option for the tired looking exhaust, is to have it coated. I personally used zircotec. Loads of different colour options available.
Chrissy boy loves the camera 😂😂
nice work mat fingures always🤞🤞
Great episode Matt 👍
I like how Matt says "We've got some work to do on the Lamborghini" and we have to wonder which Lamborghini lol
Matt, you are a legend, never seen anyone so positive and won't give up like dog with a bone, hat to you mate👍
Love the content! Be really careful swapping modules from one car to another as certain modules can corrupt the existing modules and could end up with incorrect VINs in different modules. Seen it a few times!
I drive a old Volvo v50 07 but swapping module doesn't work for Volvo's. I sended my old airbag sensor module to a repair center after the airbag light was ON. They repaired it for like €163, i saved a lot of money Volvo dealer charge €600 only for a new empty airbag sensor module😢
@@Jonathandelang I used to work for Volvo when that car was new! I did see a few times issues caused by swapping modules!
@@Acquiesce77 ooh lol, from all the comments i choose someone who worked +15years ago for Volvo when the car i drive came out👊🏾😁 i drive a D5 GEARTRONIC with 285000km😅 and much options: keyless, bliss, navi and most ridiculous a compass in the rear mirror🤣🤣🤣 the guy from the repair center sad that most of time they can repair the old module, only thing is you have to go to a garage to reset te airbag light(any garage can reset it Not only Volvo dealer)
Great work as always......
Awesome content as always look forward to sunday
Awesome video Mat
Magic 😊 Thanks Mat & team!
Gday Mat,
I remember you mentioned that the steering wheel turned about 1.5 turns from centre to either side and when turning right something in the column was rubbing/grabbing. Did that turn out to be anything?
Top effort as usual!
Cheers 🍻👍👍
bro you have some good cars i like and good job fixing the issue
You are soooooo informative Mat. and Dad. Keep um com n. Cheers
One of them blokes you are generally happy for, living the dream - he built. Good luck Matt
I think in all cars, the airbag module needs reset AND is coded to the vin AND most don't allow recoding by means of a blown fuse inside an IC, the software codes de module and blows the reprograming fuse, it's REALLY old tech :) Another thing, that module ONLY controls and active safety measures, BUT, the accessories ECU, inside the vehicle will disable everything related to safety (abs, tractioncontrol, airbags, etc) Because it has a safety fault and we are still lucky to be able to drive normally the car, I believe pussification will soon disallow that too. I fI known you installed a second hand module, I would already told you to buy a new module :) The BMW may well behave the same way, some ECU reset the code if no safety faults are present, don't know if BMW does that, but mercedes does and also italians and french, no faults even after crash, good to go.
I saw the range couple of weeks ago looks bad coming towards you. Did a great job with that one 👌🏼
From strength to strength Matt, as always epic work fella
Matt, you are a magician, really enjoy listening to you....would love to show you my Audi S1 Competition
My friend's Accord did a similar thing where it turned on all the lights for the cruise, ABS, sensing, and would barely drive and felt like a slipping transmission. I scanned it for him and it was a shaft speed sensor B for the transmission. $40 later with a few miles to re-calibrate and it was all back to normal.
I was just watching the video and caught a look at the hexagon shaped llighting in the garage. I love the light were did you get them? I need them for the garage/office in my RV.
great work Matt, love ur content dude
Amazing brother keep being great
Awesome fix!
I had an airbag light on on my old E36 328is years ago, apparently caused by the seat belt mechanism being changed. Took it to BMW and they just cleared all ECU error codes and it was gone, they did say it could come back, but never did while I owned it. Can't believe the airbags actually have their own ECU these days, things are getting way overcomplicated lol
Well done finally finished the Range Rover
Loved it, love that Range Rover cheers guys.
The exhaust looks awesome as it is...
Bumper......gets me every single time
Hi Mat, just watched the video about the RR and excellent work as normal, cannot wait for the Lamborghini to kick up again!!…cheers mate, you and the team keep up the excellent work…👏👏👏👏
Had the same issues on my Cayenne Turbo S. Turned out to be a cracked body acceleration sensor mounted behind the front right wheel arch lining. Had to wait for one to be made and shipped from Stuttgart.
Gave up with mine Matt and put a coil spring conversion on it... Best thing I ever did....👍🏻 😁
Very usefull video 😊
Must admit the lamborghini looks better with the bumper on, just my opinion though
thankyou Mat and have a great weekend,,👌👍
Get a black headliner in the Range Rover! 😁
Matt, has one caught some sun in America whilst wearing a SnapBack by any chance? 🤣
Amazing content 😊
The Rangey is Always a day to day favourite. You can have a bunch of supercars but strangely one always picks up the keys for the Landy when just doing day to day tasks. Bless it
Range Rover - Truly the ultimate chav accessory!
You are gifted Matt
MY MAN KEEP IT UP
Something to watch out for 🤗 Sunday Matt day 🙏🏼
You're rocking a solid Miami hat tan, Mat!
Use the dynamic setting for better suspension settings
Man she is qween that she is helping uu in ur work 👍💓
Awesome job
I like this Restoration 👍
Who doesn’t love a Mat upload
Amazing decor
Powder coat the diff mount same colour as the turbos if you do titanium exhaust
Glad to see the rover back.
"This is a really thight corner" translation: "Don't kill me woman." the proceeds to hold the seatbelt😂
Glad for your Range Rover!
Can’t wait to see the murci stock if this modified
One of my fav builds this Range Rover was. Glad to see it back!
make sure your lambo turbo intakes get fresh, cold air in, not affected by engine heat. 🔥
Hey Mat I did not know about the existence of this channel haha, I am glad that I came across it. Great content m8 😎👍
The lambo needs its arse puttin back on
Hi Matt, loving the video's. Where can I get HWBT cap like the one Chris is wearing?
Please don’t do the “bumper delete”. Looks cheesy. Keep it classy Matt
Yeah, any time I rebuild a crashed car that had it's airbags deployed I clear the flash rom (EEP), and reset the crash data. I try to keep all of the original parts because now a days manufactures are marrying the parts to the car (like the radio).
The reflection of the lights on the lambo looks insane!!
Eid Mubarak and good job mat
One love all the way from South Africa, love ur videos bro so inspiring 👍™️💙
does nothing phase you ...well done
That's unreal matt 👏 😊😊😊
That’s got to be a new T-shirt design slogan “SENDSATIONAL”
Damn... Talk about suspense. I really want to see that Murci driving...
Chassimounted wing!!!LETS GOOOOO🤩👍👍👍
Welcome to the wonderful world of Range Rover module diagnostics... you'll never leave ;)
Good work boss.
Wish to be part of your team, cus i love cars
Gotta use the captain’s chair armrest brother! Can’t live without it when I drive mine
