This is excellent! Killer patch. Thanks man!
Awesome. This time, you inspired me to try out SLOP (VINTAGE MODE) and PARALLEL FILTERING…
Thanks a lot!
Really great patch idea, thanks again.
Glad you like it!
This sound so good!
Nice patch! :D
Pretty cool. Since the Serum patch basically used “SuperSaws” which is essentially just detuned saws I wondered why you didn’t detune them and went with the subtle slop instead. You could hear it had a slightly sync’d type sound because the osc’s were similarly tuned.
Pretty sure you could get a much fatter sound on the Moog since 32 voice unison basically just becomes noisier and loses bass definition due to phase smearing. At a certain point more oscillators/voices doesn’t change the sound much and tends to loses focus.
I sometimes patch in from the Model D a saw stack that’s detuned+FM for a supersaw sound, high pass it and then add in a square fundamental and main beating saw harmonic on my Grandmother and it’s just massive.
This gave me an idea to try parallel filtering going into Model D high/bandpass, along with GM low pass and mix in both straight to the VCA.
Yea you’re right. Could have got closer if I detuned the oscillators…but I had just finished making a bunch of videos and used detune in most of them so wanted to try something different. Yea you can get a pretty massive sound if you start adding in external oscillators for sure. Good call
great video , where did you get those 3 way 1/8 connectors
