Souness is now 70 years old...and i bet he woukd still take them both😂
@ckromuluss11and89 yep, great player - world class.
Shearer the warm up act for Souness. He'd have the pair of them now.
And win
He was a tough man in his day for sure
And he'd take on Paul Pogba at the same time😂
"I'll fight the both of you now, together come on !" 💀🤣
Sousness would've won
With one of his hands tied behind his back....and using that as his fighting hand.
I literally love souness 😂
I remember watching that game live and the Steven Taylor moment was overshadowed as being the most memorably sending off that season by what happened later. It was such good entertainment.
That Taylor “dive” like he was in a Macbeth play! 😂😂😂 I remember it well. Iconic football moment.
The quickest apology and reconciliation in football history. Souness put the fear of God in them lads.
I remember that game. You'd think Steven Taylor had been shot by a sniper the way he went down. At the time (2005) I supported Bowyer because I always felt Dyer was a worky ticket. Bowyer has since taken full responsibility for the whole incident.
What’s a worky ticket?
@@peterlfc1387 North East Slang. It means trouble maker/agitator
@@gazof-the-north5708 bowyer was more that.
That Taylor sending off was great haha
"And you can bring your dinner!!" (oops wrong manager)
Steven Taylor sounds hilarious 😂
I’m a blue, but there’s no doubt in my mind Souness would have twatted the pair of them.
Steven Taylor was a beast on fm06
And 07 as well!!
lol @ Stephen Taylor saying 'alright lads what was the score'
😂😂😂
Stephen Taylor with the most dramatic on screen death since William Dafoe in Platoon🤦🏽♂️🤣 You need to watch hats for those snipers at St James's Park you really do.
I'd have made them room together for the rest of the season at away matches.
The iconic team-'mate' punch up! Shocking to do this day!
GREAT FACT STORY
LOVE IT
I remember that game just like yesterday. It was one of the most bizzare things I've ever seen. It was hilarious
Souness was the manager and the team was toxic.... Who would of thought it.
While Haaland is getting the best service in the world, Shearer is breaking up fights between his teammates! The poor guy just wanted some crosses into the box 😂
Where do you actually listen to the full episodes of these

I'm not a person who's scared of many people but JESUS I wouldn't wanna mess with graeme souness 😂
1:52 Gary looking at Micah to work out when to laugh.
That torn shirt worn by Bowyer could cost a fortune🤣🤣
One of the great things about playing football when you grow up is you learn to play alongside people who you personally don't like, who you wouldn't spend five minutes with if you had the choice, but you learn to put that aside for the team. To get to that level and have played for that long and to then have it flare up like that in front of the whole world speaks to the fact that both of them had lost touch with that.
At least Bowyer and Dyer admit it was frustration boiled over more than anything else. They seem to still be friends today.
Sheringham and A. Cole though...Worked great together on pitch but loathe each other off it, until like 2019, where they finally grow up I guess.
Trust me, Souey may be 71 now, but I think he'd definitely still take them both.
What's with the pots and pans in the background Gary?
Dyer bowlical😊
Bam-dum-tish!! Have this first 'like' for your comment. Merry Christmas.
Was shearer in the Blackburn team when le saux and batty fought?
Yeah I think he would of been because Batty went to Newcastle after Shearer
I don't think he'd have stepped in between those two
Souness would have taken them every day, and twice on Sunday
Lets be fair, souness probably would have given them both a good hiding aswell
This was the most surreal incident I had seen in a football game 2 team mates getting in full blown fist fight. I don't even support Newcastle and felt bad for the club and its fans totally embarrassing.
Now imagine if it was Pogba💀
EH?
😂😂😂 de definitely fighting
Paul Pogba is a disgrace!!!
He was trying to motivate pogba, has all the attributes to be a world class star, but he’s a lazy bum instead wasted he’s talents
Even if Souness lost the scrap it’d still be Pogba’s fault 💀
Bowyer was told to accept 'full responsibility' as Newcastle were trying to minimise the damage and hopefully retain Dyer for an up-coming Man.United game after the FA review. FA were having none of it.
Forgot about Taylor's sending off
👍👍⚽️⚽️👍👍
my money on graeme souness even when he fighting both of them lol
Dyer did nothing wrong 😢
premier league footballers today are athletes first then footballers second, yes theres still alot of natural players, bellingham, de bryune, silva, types etc but strip away fitness routines rashford, walker, wan bassaka, robertson, nunez, havertz, watkins, gordon, etc etc and most others wouldn't stand out in a football match the same way as souness, wright, shearer, les ferdinand, keano, bergkamp, cantona, hughes, irwin, owen, fowler, merson,le tissier barnes, etc i find it sad that players in dressing rooms nowadays need hugs after a bad game on their way after a match to jump into their ferrari's
Unfortunately, that’s just a reflection of wider society. This generation ain’t exactly producing many true hard men
Lol. You really need to go back and watch some old games. The standard is awful. The ball is in the air most of the time, every team plays like Burnley. It's the complete opposite. The technical ability has increased massively.
That will be good for man united to fight each other than because that will probably help them perform better
Lineker must have had a lot of clashes fighting off the racists at this school. 😅😅
I always hear Shearer say souness but am sure it was Glenn Roeder. Might be some Mandela effect on my end tho 🤔
IF it was Pogba 🪦
Take a wage cut with the BBC Linekar.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I bet all the anti-Newcastle brigade enjoyed that moment.
🤣🤣🤣
Richards laugh is sooooooo put on, it puts me right off watching anything with him in it
Shearer absolute full of himself ,off camera arrogant and unfriendly.Him and Lineaker are made for each other...
i didn't know the manager was Souness at that time, funny that he always talking shiet about many managers as pundits while he himself can't even manage his players, LOL 🤣
no matter how skilful you are, sadly even if you can beat a player but you cant get away from him/her/it/ (whatever the pc form is), because they are at Olympic level running, it means today that an athlete is more likely to play instead of you for that reason only, even though when they get the ball they cant pass it.
Good to see Gary has finally brought an asylum seeker into his house.
3 of the most annoying, pointless individuals all in one video!
I would love to watch again, but that loud mouthed bench warming micah Richard’s just puts me right off. How has he lasted so long.
Micah ruining it again by opening his big fat mouth.
Nah chief you ruined it by talking shite in the comments.
Lineker is a toilet
Nice work if you can get it. This is really a boys club for these three, isn't it? Unless you are aware of the incidents these three are talking about, or a supporter of the clubs invloved, you are not going to learn much from this clip. They don't really explain what they are on about. They burst out laughing instead.
Steven Taylor was already sent off so was down to ten men... for the *&^%^&*&^% hahaha HAhaHA ... for the arghhhhhhhh!
How embarrassing, he's ripped his shirt off and &%$£%^&%$£$! ages ago and yeah, the funny thing was.
Imagine being a manager of that game... you've got a player whose got a... pretends too... and then you've two players fighting...
Yes, this is more interesting for the initiated. For the uninitiated, there is this thing called Google where you can go on it and do more research to find out about it
What happened to Lineker, growing up I thought legend, now I think fairy, weak, lost for words..
I watched the match of the day. Shearer just signed an extension, my God! Must have regret to hell with the decision.
😂
