As a czech, Im proud of people like Janek & Honza!
As a Polish, I'm proud of them too! :-)
As an Austrian, I'm so proud of both of them too :)) @@ksitau
Funny they both have the same name...
You should try to press your government to make new laws to deport or jail these people first time they scam someone, it's a shame they get caught, filmed and next day they are back on the street, scamming...
And why do they all have that crook look in their faces, like your cliche movie criminal... haha
@@ksitau You are proud for Janek & Honza because these two kids do with dangerous of his lifes the work of Czech police? Where is the Czech goverment?? Where is the low? Tourist has so many big money problem..where is police?? Same on you ....
As a bulgarian, i am ashamed of the scammers you find. They are the same here. Keep doing what you do!
Нема да се срамуваш, брате 😄
срам ме че е сме от страните с изобилие от такива тарикати. Как ще няма....
They are everywhere
Well Bulgaria in general is like that. One of those countries in Europe we wouldnt miss.
no need for such words. Nobody will miss you too but u are still here
As a romanian, I’m ashamed that I share my country with some of these money scammers. They misrepresent our beautiful country and that’s why we are known as thieves and less known for nice things.
For every 10 thieves there are actors (like Sebastian Stan aka "Bucky Barnes" aka "Winter Soldier"), chess players (like Botez sisters), musicians (i guess O-zone? might be one of the more known globally) and other such more positive celebs. And i bet that most sensible people know that scammers and thieves don't represent whole country.
More like most, not some
Same here.
You stole Transylvania from us, so...
@@DJRevanactually, wasn't yours in the first place. Now it's right where it belongs, how about that?😀
Is it really a coincidence that so many scammers and politicians look alike?
25 years ago, I encountered Angry Grandpa (I'm 95% sure it was him) in the Prague metro. He claimed to be a plain-clothes inspector of the public transportation, showed me a silly charm trinket in the cup of his hand as if that was somehow legitimizing him, and he claimed that I had bought the wrong ticket and that I needed to pay a fine and buy a different ticket. Little did he know that I wasn't just the passing through backpacker, but I was on my 30th trip to Prague, so I told him in Czech to crawl back to the piča he came from, and that I knew very well which ticket I needed and that I wasn't going to show him my ticket, nor where I keep my money. He got very upset and abusive (I guess I lead him on, but I was right and he wasn't hahaha). When I got off, I informed the DPP office and they said I did the right thing sending him away.
It's a bit saddening knowing that this guy has just been a scammer for decades and at some point decided this is really the life he wants
Wtf are you talking about
I'm surprised they aren't banned from the country..especially after decades of scamming people?!
@@FilaStary I kindly echo your comment
@@demiannvz yes, that is a very sad thought indeed. I have always wondered how it is possible that there are people without a conscience. Because my conscience would eat me alive if I were to do what these thieves do. Somebody worked hard for that money and they just think it's okay to take it. I'll never wrap my head around how that can make sense in someone's mind.
The guy who sacrificed three hours of his life to report Orange Vest to the police is a legend! (Janek and Honza are too but we kinda got used to that already)
That’s what we need more of for real change 🙌
"I'm not your friend. I'm your trouble". That goes hard.
Yea:D
You are so brave for confronting them. There's enough encounters that show that it would only take a little bit to escalade.
I love these videos but i think HG's ability to constantly follow these people, call them out by name online, and have ongoing feuds with them for multiple years without ever being assaulted or swung at is evidence that there isn't much danger involved here.
@@austinballard8867 My question is why is this an ongoing problem? Why doesn't the government do something about it? How can the same scammers still be loose on the streets?
You and Honza are the real-life counterparts of Batman and Robin and I can't appreciate enough what you guys do and the amazing service you two have done for humanity. I wish you guys the best and keep up the amazing work!
Thanks! Not all heroes wear capes. Stay safe out there guys.
Love your videos Janek and Honza! I visited Prague 2 years ago because of your videos and it trully was worth it. Your videos really do justice to your city, with all the travel tips and hidden gems that you recommend! As for the scammers, it's such a pity that most major European counties don't do enough to fight this type of crime. It's the same story here in Athens, people will scam you/rob you, they will get arrested and then be released later the same day. This "guide" was really fun to watch and it shows how much effort you put for Prague's good. Take care and be carefully around all these people. Wish you all a happy new year!
I'm sorry that my country (Romania) is representing these people. 😢
It sucks when you are constantly exampled by the worst of your population. As an American, I can empathize.
It is not! Don't worry! I go to Romania every year for vacation, and meet many many Romanians in Prague. Amazing country, and always lovely people. :)
These people are gipsy. They do not represent romanian people.
I work with Romanians and I can confirm that most of them are cheaters and thieves and if don't, they at least have conflicts with other romanians who are cheaters. And when you say something against them, you are marked as toxic racist or something, but they are white, so it doesn't make any sense. Even shower heads disapeared in work since we have romanian workers, they will steal everything what is not glued to the ground.
@@janekrubeswellthese are gypsys not regular romanians.
A couple days ago I was in Prague (lovely city) and by Exchange8 there was a new money scammer that I hadn't seen here. Around 1.60m, old, round and looks like a happier "Polish guy".
Asked what country we're from first, then wanted to exchange money at a "better rate". Saved some other tourists from him as well that were waiting there.
you should make a deck of cards with them xD
I’ve been watching all your videos for the past 18 months (and the older videos too) and since I discovered this channel I’ve been to Prague twice in 2023.
Amazing work, every city needs a channel like this!
I am so glad I found you before I went to Prague, not only are your scammer videos so good and informing how they do the scams (my MIL was almost convinced by someone in an orange vest, thank the gods that I caught up to her in time) but your Prague city guides helped us to no end! I don't think we would have been able to see as much as we did without them! So much delicious food!
Dear Honza and Janek, I very much appreciate your courage and endurance. You should be on the government payroll for the work you do for improving reputation of Prague and the country of yours.
Pretty shocking that the police just does nothing about it
I am not suprised. In germany we have a lot of criminal Gypsy gangs who come here and commit in gang begging, the police does exactly nothing against them.
Makes you wonder if the mafia that controlls the scammers payes of someone in the police and or government to „look the other way” and „do nothing”.
they get a cut that's why
Police in these countrys are fuckimg corrupt it is just so sad.
They do nothing because it's lost time for them. Courts won't send them to prison even if enough evidence is collected so there is no point in losing police officers time dealing with them.
I imagine for the ex cop going to the police station in another country was some kind of tourist attraction anyways 😂
Hey Man, You are doing a great work. Because of these scammers innocent tourists loose money and also their vacation is ruined. Lots of love and respect to you.
Greetings the Honest Guides of Prague. Congrats on an awesome scammers montage video. As I’ve been watching it’s brighten the end of this year for me as well as sent a good cheer for the start of a new one. It’s actually a great fun to view all the footage you shot over some years compiled into one video about all the chases and hustle and bustle with them cheats and riff-raff money grifters who operate in the streets of Prague. The video made me chuckle more than once, I must admit. Kudos and salutations on a job well done. My favourite episode with scammers was the one in which you confronted the Polish Guy at the train station where he was swindling some tourists. When he was caught he got so wound up and all bent out of shape that he started to swear both in Polish and Czech with his spittle flying from his mouth in and between profanities he was firing at you so profusely. Now it turns out he is suing you for harassing him as he was waiting for a train. The audacity of him and talking about turning the tables on you - comedy gold continues. By the way, Happy New Year to Janek & Honza - have a good one.
Always so grateful for channels like this🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
You both do amazing work! Stay safe guys :)
Your work is so meaningful. Thank you Honza and Janek. It´s not just only a czech problem, it´s happening everythere.. you just make it visible. You guys are very brave and make your home a better place. Additionally its fun to watch. Stay safe guys, wish you all the best.
You are doing a really good thing catching scammers. Thank you!!!!
and than What?
I love your videos ur so inspiring!
This was such a joy to watch. Go get them!
Happy new year! You are brave!
Just found your channel and wow you are truly one of life’s amazing human beings keeping all the tourists safe x
You not only have an entertaining channel, but you're actually doing good work exposing these scams!!
Super přeložení Janku
what I don't understand is, why would people go for these shady exchanges with a random guy on a street? If it's about better exchange rate, why not just pay by cards? It's traveling 101 that you DON'T make unofficial money exchanges with random people on the street :(
"im not your friend, i'm your trouble." Fucking savage and I love it! xD
You are an asset to Czechia - highlighting the best and educating the visitor. Thank you!
I was told that the area between Staroměstské náměstí and Karlův most is called the "Golden Mile", because that's where all the tourists congregate, and where the souvenir shops etc are. And of course the money scammers.
15:13 - as a long-term subscriber and a Bulgarian who has lived in Czech Republic(OK it was Brno, but it still counts) I really loved this bit :D
You guys should make a Scamers quartet.
I'd buy it!
@33:06 - Proof that Honza thinks in both Czech and English 😀 - Happy New Year guys! Love both of your channels, the 2nd one helps me learn Czech!
bro wtf 😅😅 I’m slovak and also fluent in english so i also didnt notice this at all. It literally took me couple of seconds to realize that i’m watching english video 😅
Keep up the great work
Thank you for doing a amazing job with all the scammers ❤❤❤
Šťastný nový rok poctivým průvodcům!
1 million likes! I hope this kind of video goes viral.
Great job you guys. You've earned ALL the likes.
Man i love your work, also quickly met you in prague❤
You, my honest friend, are a hero! I'm planning to visit Prague and I'm so glad I found your videos first. If you're not already on the government payroll you should be. The work you do to protect tourists is invaluable!
Awesome video! Happy new year 🎊 🎉
Happy New Year sir and I hope this year will be the one we see less and less "bad" parts of Prague. Also hope you're all loved ones are ok and none where hurt in the terror attack a few weeks back!
Thanks guides for your work!
That's a great video! I'm really apologize that these dudes are from my country (Romania) and that's why we are getting a bad reputation (not only in Prague, but everywhere in the world where they operate)😢😢
Overall, you do an excellent job and we hope in the future most of them will be impeached!
well i mean they are gypsies and not of the romanian people
i love this, its like a database of scammers, i would love to create app scammer list for this xD
Happy new years!!!!!
Wonderful
Your doing a grand job
Thanx Janek! Good job! :)
You look like you just filmed all my uncles I met at the family reunion.
ahahaha
You guys and the “Attenzione borseggiatrici!” lady are my heros! Happy 2024
You are the honorablest Guides I kn....oh
Saw some of them and recognised them! they have become a tourist attraction!
Great job guys and great entertainment too, had a good laugh :D As a Bulgarian I'm ashamed to see all the BG scammers but thank you for exposing them :D
Loved this episode
It’s like the reservoir dogs of scamming
Happy new year!!!
(I just woke up)
What you do is awesome!
Best content 🎉
Great job!
Appreciate what you do.
People like you, make me want to visit Prague, thank you brother.
Doing gods work
As a Romanian, I feel deeply ashamed of my own country. These individuals are living in lavish houses or villas acquired through scamming.. The prevalence of such behavior is alarming, and it tarnishes the reputation of our nation! Instead of facing consequences for their actions, these individuals often seek refuge in other countries known for their peaceful environments, such as the Czech, Canada, etc.. This highlights the failure of our system to such fraudulent activities.Personally,
I'm Glad that I made the decision to leave Romania when I did. Janek, Honza Respect!
The Best Person in Prague is of course a Honest Guy. Person who made me to visit Prague as a number one safe destination in Europe !
Thank you so very much for this educational video. I want my travel to Prague to be nothing but wonderful.
Díky za to, co pro Česko děláte.
I am just glad you had no scammers from Hungary! I think you'd had plenty of work here too, unfortuantely.
What you do is fantastic. stay safe.
The Turk's name is Ionut Daniel Ionita ! I found it by scanning the QR code on 5:00
Haha, good work!
Romanian lmao
Blower is my favourite scammer personality 😂😂😂 The fact that you had a conversation about his scam history over a cup of coffee is so dope 😂😂
Thanks for the video..
Wow this is great soft .never knew that. Thaks a lot .
Love ❤️ this video
I love the nicknames with Prague style! When I hear these nicknames, I'm getting the Prague Fake Taxi vibes. Oh wait, it's not Fake Taxi, it's about dirty scammers. Good work!
Next level:Janek and Honza filming the gouvernement printing bills.
I'll be sure to bring plenty of printed 50E bills if I encounter one of them.
Wana here a fun fact? You'd be the one commiting a crime :) I know... crazy.
Wow this list of scammers is huge!
The cops just need to follow you around .. they could clean up the scammers in a week. LOL
I love these scammer vids
I just love how you have a spreadsheet with the sequential serial numbers and probably have more than they have by now
HEROS THANKS❤
angry grandpa, smelly mouth, racoon, runner, fighter, boss, baby, white hat and jagr are confirmed romanians
proud of my nation
Next week 14.03.2024 I will flight to Prag and I'm watching your videos which are priceless . Thanks a lot you and your friends to inform us upfront
You guys are doing the City a great service! The city should be paying you guys!
@honestguide Is there undercover police in prague hunting pickpockets and scammers?
Hey there! Happy 2024 and thank you for this content! May I ask you guys to give us some Classical Concerts tips? I know there are many options in Prague, but it would be amazing to have some recommendations. Thank you very much! Cheers from Brasil ☀
honestly, i giggled seeing a guy pretending to be from my country. it's usually the other way around heheh
The guy from india who speaks the famous indian language called indian. Not Hindi. The worst part is he only had to know how to say something in one of the 23 official language of india. 😂
I've been in Prague 4 days ago and I talked to angry ganpa. He talked to me in Italian and try to gave me some money. I wanna see personally the fake money so I tell him to let me see some money befere the "exchange" and he gave me on my hand the fake money that you show in the video. When I say him that that wasn't Czech korona he tried to convince me that I was wrong and then he went away. I was in the old town near the clock tower (100 meters from there).
While I was talking to him another person told me that he is a scammer. I was already aware of it since I watch your videos. Thanks for your working
Keep your country safe, I subbed.
Could be a new tour of Prague, the honest guide's guide to money scammers with a light lunch and beer
Great channel when is your book back to order?
Sounds like the Prag officials don’t care it’s visitors, I won’t visit! Good work honest guide
Ok! I managed to stop Orange jacket at Florenc last year!, he was scamming at the bus depot, lady got her money but he ran before the police arrived. Great job lads
Proud of you
Hello Janek i'm from Bulgaria and I love Prague, i'm really grateful for what you are doing and as a Bulgarian i'm kinda ashamed that often these scammers are from my country
